《Another world? what's the difference?》Chapter 18 "One little light"

"....why I remembered the past..." Chanotte started to lose his conciousness
His left arm bleeding, his head got several injuries, and his stamina also left his body. He used so many skills at once, and that's draining his Mana.
Especially [WARRIOR'S HEARTBEAT]. This skill boost all the blood's flow and all the electricity in his body. The result would be: there's no delay between his brain and body (zero delay impulse) and super focused mind. Combined with [EMPOWERED] and [IMPERIAL ZONE], he became almost invicible.
Regardless all of that superior effects, the demerit also really significant to his body. Used all of them at once like that brought too much pressure for his bodym That's why he needed to finish his fight as soon as possible, yet all that's happening totally opposite from what he expected.
Yana approached him.
"you showed all of your emotions like that. I don't even need to guess what's in your mind...-sigh-"
"Should I kill him now sir Yana?" Shanti stood behind Chanotte
"wait Shanti...his conciousness started to fade...let me observe him for a while"
"understood"
"Shanti..could you continue healing my arm?" Barry walked towards her
"can I do that sir Yana?"
"sure go ahead. Treat the others too. I think there will be no reinforcement or another soldier coming"
"if you say so sir Yana"
"someone who still can move gather our wounded people! let's prepare to back to our village" Barry gave instruction
The remaining Half-beast started to gather and treat the other wounds. Their fight with the chief of king's guard was really hard, far harder than fighting with one hundred soldiers. One of their friend died, several men heavily wounded. But all of that casualties was still called miracle when fought someone as strong as Chanotte.

"will...I.. really...fall here....in these animals..." Chanotte still mumbled
"it's kinda strange.... he's not the type that totally relied on strength when it comes to battle..he know he's outnumbered..he still relied on tactics...hmm there are several possible answers"
Chanotte kneeled on the ground, and he still gripped his great sword tightly. He couldn't used it with one hand tho, but he would never let it go.
"yo..u.. supposedly know.....what this animals...and other filthy creature do...to humans...why you helped them..."
"let me ask you one question chief...."
Yana squatted and looked into Chanotte's eyes.
"..."
"before the other race infiltrate or harm humans.. it is all started with a rumor first?"
"... why it had something to with their cruelty..rumor or not... in the end it was true.."
"I see, that's pretty much answered all my questions this far"
"...kill me now...or I will keep hunting all of you..."
"don't worry, you won't die and you will help us in the end"
"-pfft- ahahaha -cough-. LIKE I WILL DO.."
-buuugh- Shanti hit him in the back of his head. Chanotte fainted and fell to the ground.
"should I kill him now sir Yana?"
"nah, bring him to the village. Make sure he will live"
"....."
Shanti just silent for a moment. She looked directly at Yana's eyes.
"are you sure about this sir Yana?"
Yana approached her.
"are you really trust me, Shanti?" Yana calmly looked into her eyes
"understood. I will always follow your order sir Yana" Shanti nodded
"please someone, help me to bring this guy to our village!!"
They stopped and hesitated to do that.
"this is our savior's order!! are you doubting him?!"
"no..of course not.." They approached Chanotte and brought him
"let's go back then"
"everyone!! we back to our village now!" Barry and Shanti led the way.
A war between one hundred humans vs fifty Half-beast ended that night. For worst or better scenario, the story already played by the savior.

Journeys in the Fairworld: The Gatekeeper
Lindsey Fluger was only slightly past eighteen. There was nothing particularly special about her, save that she happened to be the right person at the right time. When Lindsey is asked to join an expedition to another world she makes the mistake of saying yes, plunging herself into a sea of perilous adventure and dark intrigue. Journeys in the Fairworld is a fantasy anthology series set in The Fairworld, a magical realm existing in parallel with our own world which is governed by a group elfin beings known only as “The Good Folk”. These mysterious entities work in secret to keep the peace between the myriad of peoples and nations which dwell in The Fairworld. Complex relationships and bitter rivalries emerge against a backdrop of constrained resources and conflicting values to produce a world of high adventure and tangled mysteries. This novel is technically already completed, and I am currently in the final stages of proofing or editing. As such, there may be a few typos and errors here and there. The final version should be about 130,000 words long, which I will be releasing in stages as I continue editing. I'd love to hear your feedback and comments! If you want to read more stories from Journeys in the Fairworld, please checkout “Journeys in the Fairworld: The Brigand of Potham”, which is also available here on Royal Road Legends. https://www.royalroadl.com/fiction/19369/journeys-in-the-fairworld-the-brigand-of-potham

Again from Scratch Saga: Izmittor Unchained
If someone precious to you needed your help, would you extend it? Would you still do it if it costs you your peace and perhaps even your life? For Tercius, a man mysteriously reborn nearly thirteen years ago, there was only one answer to both questions. Feeling compelled, he sets out to journey to the northern Sogea and its infamous Western Izmittor mountain range, a natural stronghold of sky tearing mountains and deep canyons. Legends about the place abounded, but he knew without a doubt that the hidden valleys, rushing rivers, thick forests, and desolate landscapes hid powerful predators, the likes of which stalk the harsh terrains for an easy source of meat and bones. The many natural dangers of Western Izmittor would be hard enough to navigate safely for a lone traveler, but to make matters worse Tercius had enemies in the heights of Western Izmittor, humans and spirits who would see him dead if they ever learned of his true connection to the Pyramid of Tergaron and the Society of the Magi. To make things even more difficult, he also had to ensure that the true extent of his own Innate Skills remained hidden, for if the prying eyes of the world fell on him and his many secrets came to light, then he would never again know a day of peace. Can one reborn man manage to keep his secrets and still succeed in doing what his conscience compels him to? Will he have to choose one over the other? And can he do any of it without reigniting the sparks of a planetary war the likes of which had not been seen in millennia? Follow Tercius’ story and find out! *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** This story is a continuation of Again from Scratch, a story of mine also posted on RR. Reading it is NOT necessary to read this story, but for anyone who wants to get a little bit more background, here is a link: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/38803/again-from-scratch Again from Scratch was my first journey into writing and I have taken all I learned from that and started writing Again from Scratch Saga, a continuation that is almost stand alone. Changes in certain phrases and words between the two are edits made because of the rewrite plans I have for the old story. The story is available here, on RR, on Webnovel, and on Scribble Hub.The cover was taken from PublicDomainPictures.net and made by one Nona Lohr

The Princess And Her Warmonger
"Let me tell you a true story about a mouse and a Warmonger, and the unlikely relationship that sprouted between them in the time of endless war." Nostalisk is a world in endless constant war. The Factions of this world endlessly fight for power, this fighting called the Great Wars, a war that has been alive for over four million years. Currently, one of the largest Factions has withdrawn from the endless fighting. This Faction, known as the Kingdom, hopes to forget their past of endless bloodshed and how they were almost destroyed because of it. In the Kingdom, Princess Isalene, the only princess of the Kingdom, is stuck choosing a new personal guard after her previous one died. Despite her father, King Robert, helping her choose a new guard, Isalene decides to head to the arena to see how the knights on the list her father gave her act outside of the eyes of royals. When she arrives at the arena, she sees a knight fighting that is not on the list her father gave her. Named Cruel Knight, this knight is a vicious knight with confusing morals. Despite hating violence, Princess Isalene can't help but be drawn to the knight and their graceful yet cruel fighting style and strange weapons. Princess Isalene continues to watch them and soon learns that Cruel Knight is a Warmonger named Sharia, and is female at that, meaning she is a prisoner. She isn't in there for something simple as disobeying a direct order or killing a noble, but for prolonging a war. Despite knowing this, Princess Isalene can't stop thinking about the Warmonger and suddenly gets a "smart" idea. She'll make Sharia her new personal guard to find out more about her! What could go wrong? And so begins the odd relationship between Sharia The Warmonger and Princess Isalene. One is a peace-loving sheltered naive princess who hates violence and the other is a vicious, cold, twisted, and cruel Warmonger who hates the kind of peace Isalene and the current Kingdom loves. Polar opposites. Yet, even the Warmonger can't help but grow a strange liking to her new "annoyance". But, can the two really get along? After all, Sharia's whole mindset sees Isalene as a waste, and it seems that everyone Isalene talks to tells her to fire Sharia before something terrible happens. But, then again, during this time of budding danger, this odd couple may be what the Kingdom needs. After all, when a large faction such as the Kingdom starts growing soft and weak, they become a rather irresistible target. [After thinking on it, I decided to start a re-write of The Princess And Her Warmonger, adding more details, fixing the switching POVs somewhat, and fixing some of the issues with the story. Don't worry, all of the chapters are still here, I am just making new ones and replacing the old chapters one at a time] (This story can also be found on Scribble Hub and Webnovel) [Cover art is not mine]
