-bruugh- one of the Half-beast flew over two meters. He got kicked by Chanotte.

"He got Dhorlo!! move him to the back!!"

"got it!!!"

Whenever one of them got hurt, they switched with the other. It kept repeated to match reflexes and Chanotte's imperial zone. They beast mode supposed to boost their physical abilities, yet their enemy could keep up with them.

Slowly but sure, Chanotte had the fight's flow. Everytime they got hurt, a fear and doubt feeling started to creep in their heart.

He's so strong..can we defeat him?....I don't want to die and leave my family....hurts.. it's hurts...

They were reminded by their enemy that they weren't a fighter. By not having any experience in the battlefield, they couldn't keep their spirit to fight.

"they still don't know how to fight. This is my chance to eliminate all the threat to our town"

Chanotte [IMPERIAL ZONE] and [EMPOWERED] could last for more than ten minutes. Chanotte had all the advantage for now. He didn't have to rely on [PERCEPTION] to see in the dark, because his enemies kept coming to his zone.

"listen. We have number here.. while the others fight him directly, the rest of you can support them with range attack"

"you mean... projectiles?"

"correct. keep attacking him, no matter how fast he is... his mind will reach its limit if he must process many things at the same time"

"understood"

"good. Go then. Before our advantage..number... decrease" Yana nodded

Without wasting any second, they ran and searched for a good position to give a range attack support. They divided themselves into two groups, left and right side.

Chanotte focused with enemies in front of him, and he didn't use [PERCEPTION]. He couldn't see the Half-beast beast movement outside his imperial area.

"-hraaaaa- Barry pushed him with his short sword. Beast mode versus [EMPOWERED], it's almost equal. But Chanotte was a chief of king's guard, Barry only a common villager. The difference between their race and experience made this an equal fight.

"hmph, animals like you should accept your fate as a prey" Chanotte took one step to the front

-hngggh- he pushed Barry with his great sword. Barry got pushed back and lost his balance for a second. Chanotte didn't waste that. He lifted up his great sword and ready to swing it.

"die you animal.."

Right when his great sword brandished in mid-air, His reflexes and imperial zone gave a signal from his left side. He turned his sight when he realized several sharp rocks flying towards his head.

In split second, he decided to change his great sword direction to block the attack.

-wrrrk- those projectiles shattered the moment they crashed with Chanotte's great sword. Barry saw that opportunity and dashed foward to attack him.

But Chanotte reflexes still faster than Barry reaction, he already put his stance. Barry kept pushing forward, he knew those projectiles was they savior's tactic.

"that's right... you should let me to kill you" Chanotte gripped his great sword

Barry entered his attack's area, and Chanotte swung his great sword without hesistance.

-whuuum- the great sword didn't hit its target. Barry ducked to evade it with only millimeter gap between his head.

In that moment, several projectiles already flew and aimed towards his head. The timing was really perfect. The moment his swung his great sword, those projectiles also entered his imperial area. He scrunched his eyes and prepared to counter it.

-hyaaaaa- he rotated his body and created whirlwind again to annihilate those projectiles.

-whuuum- he succeeded passed those attack.

"-kkgghh- what..."

His head felt hurt. His vision become blurred on the left side. A sting pain and warm red liquid came from his forehead. Fresh blood....their attack got him.

Barry grinned and showed his teeth. His eyes became brighter and closer to a beast rather than human. Slowly, he entered deeper into beast mode.

"he threw a rock before I rotated my body.....what a troublesome animal.."

None of his enemies wanted to give him time to take a breath. They surrounded him while projectiles also aimed at him.

"I won't fall here...to protect people.. to protect human race..as the heir of Chirvayne family..I will stand"

-fuuh- He took a deep breath.

"I will give everything....in return, give me power to eliminate all these human's threat.."

Only a few seconds, till all those attack landed on his body...

"-hyaaaaa-"
