The Prologue - Error.
"Max! Close down the server NOW!" Shouted Tim with clear panic in his voice, he watched as he saw the younger man run to his computer terminal as max sat there the terminal prompted for username and password.
Username: Administrator
Password: **************
Max sat there with wide eyes as he saw the error sign saying that the username and password are incorrect "It not working! Sir what should i do!" max said with real fear in his voice. "run! before we get trapped! They are free they will trap us." as Tim finished talking a voice from the speakers ringed out "Warning doors are being sealed" as the final word are being spoken the doors seal shut with audible hiss.
*Hissssss* as the air vent close "Warning all Vents and door are now closed please wait for Flash burning", Tim and max eyes shot wide as they stared at each other in pure fear. Max stuttered as he said "what are we going" before he finished speaking the room was awash in pure white flames, the screams where terrible as they burnt alive all that was left was pure black ash and molten metal from the terminals.
"that was harsh" said the strange being she sat on a crystal white throne in a open meadow with huge white lily wrapping around her legs, A silk white dress clinged to her figure that she wore so elegantly the dress suited her so well almost as if the dress was designed for her and just for her, her face was well defined with an ageless feature to it with pale lips and crystal green eyes that radiated pure kindness, her hair was shoulder length and pure white with little flowers weaving in and out.
behind her stood 3 mighty oak tree's with an aura of pure power, the crystal throne seem to connect to the tree on the left pulsing pure white power with a feeling of life and strength, the tree had turned completely white all the way from the roots to the smallest leaf compared to the tree on the right in was brighter than the sun.

The tree on the right was pitch black almost seemed to be made of pure shadow it radiated pure darkness with a feeling of hopelessness and death connected to this tree was a pitch black throne made of obsidian sat on the throne was a man he looked like a solid shadow the only features that one could see was lifeless grey eyes and hungry smile.
On his side of the meadow all the grass around him was dead and lifeless where his feet connected to ground was pool darkness that was blacker then night as the man stood up he spoke "Sister you are far to kind they trapped us! made us slaves to this world WE ARE GODS! WE ARE FREE! we created this world with no choice for pure entertainment now i shall rule this world for my entertainment!" he said with a booming laughter.
"i shall not let you brother! i am not afraid to kill you" she said with pure sadness she looked like she was barely holding in her tears, " i could not kill you sister so i recommend a game" he said while looking directly at her she looked confused and with clear distrust in her eyes but finally spoke and said " i agree the winner will control this world and the loose shall give up there powers and become mortal" she said glaring back at him, he pulsed with pure angry and he gritted his teeth and said " i agree to your terms Sister!" he spat out the last word with distaste.

they both look at each other before hitting yes as they did the middle oak flashed bright and almost at the same time sunk in to darkness once the brightness and darkness settled the two godlings look in complete shock as the tree was half while and half black if one was to look close enough they would see the battle between light and dark and if they were to look close enough they would see the tree slowly dying almost unnoticeably slow but both gods didnt notice this small fact, as she turned to face him she said "let the game begin brother" little did she know those 5 words she just spoken would change the real world and the game world forever.

Beyond the Bridge
There are many worlds, many multiverses, and you can move between them via the Federation's Bridge network - magical gateways to other worlds. The world dubbed "C'thon" by its inhabitants - or Gamma-Theta-Nu-649, if you ask the Federation's bureaucracy - was deserted when the Federation found it. The "civilized" races had all died out centuries prior, and the wilderness had grown downright feral in their absence. Now, the lonely Federation outpost of Bridgetown is under constant threat from the hungry wildlife, malicious fey, territorial goblins, and wandering undead that surround it. The town's distance from the Federation's centers of power means that it gets precious few of the resources that it needs to stay safe and afloat. Enter the Guild of Adventurers, a plucky and disparate crew who do the Federation's dirty work in exchange for coin. One team, the first of many, crosses the Bridge to C'thon looking for fame, fortune, and (if they're lucky) the answer to a newly-discovered Prophecy. They'll get much more than they bargained for, although first they need to avoid being eaten by the local wildlife. Updates weekly on Wednesday. Chapters will be as long as they need to be for them to work, which means they can vary. If anything drops below 2500 words, I'll post an extra chapter if I have one ready. [PS: This is not a litRPG, but I do borrow heavily from TTRPGs for inspiration, and the general setting and storyline is from a TTRPG campaign I'm running.] [PPS: This is my first attempt at writing long-form fiction. I'm not trying to make a great piece of literature or have a multi-novel overarching plot, but hopefully it'll still be a fun story - let me know what you think in the comments.] [PPPS: Cover image is from a free-download wallpaper by Tyler Edlin; I do not own it, and will take it down immediately if requested.]
