Me and my family see a giant mushroom cloud in the distance so we go and huddle around the

big movie theater tv on the 23rd floor and watch the news to figure out what is going on. I know what

is going on of course but they don't know that. The tv says "Emergency Broadcast..... This just in, A

nuke went off in Ohio today just south of Cleveland. Anyone near the area is advised to go as deep

underground as possible and stock up on as much food as you can we are still--ZZZTT--." Oh my

gosh the news station just went offline, the tv still works and the news just isn't broadcasting. My

family is freaking out so i calm them down telling them a straight lie. "Guys it's okay, I built this place

with precautions against the apocalypse as long as another nuke doesn't explode the actual building

we are fine the property is nuke proof. We should use the hazmat uniforms which are custom built

uniforms i created for post apocalyptic situations to go over to the store and get some seeds to plant

in the farmland out back. using the nanomachines that keep this place working we can keep them

from being infected by radiation and grow safe crops. The car I'm having built via nanomachines will

be ready in a day so until then we will have to use someone else's." I say making everyone slightly

calmer. The nanomachines lie is an excuse I made in order to explain magic to my family because

they wouldn't believe me if i told them magic existed now. Anyway, me and my dad get into the

hazmat uniforms which are just full body chef uniforms in hazmat material and a gas mask. We then

go outside hop in his car and go out to the store. I am kind of worried though because I know

zombies are gonna pop up soon and I really don't want to meet them yet. We are going for a quick

supply run for seeds and meat along with canned foods. Then we are coming straight back, I

brought a gun just in case we do run into zombies. I don't know how to use it though so i'm probably

just gonna sit with the combat knife. My dad knows how to use it so ill hand it to him if it comes down

to it. We are at the store now. We are at a Walmart because the local Walmart has seeds and

everything needed. everyone is missing though which is kind of strange seeing how everyone just

found out like 2 minutes ago. Okay, I found the seeds I'm going to take all of them. Now i should go

to the meat section to get all the meat. Hey it looks like some of the meat was looted but they left the

chicken and the fresh stuff. All the preserved stuff is gone though. Okay ill take all of the fresh stuff

and the fish. Okay now to the vegetables and fruit. I'll be taking all of this. Good thing my dads rental

is a pickup truck. Dad is back without much cans. "Hey dad why didn't you get a lot of cans?" I ask

before he responds with "sorry they were already looted." Shoot we need to get to the home depot

fast then. I start running and grab all the seasonings and sauces like ketchup and hot sauce and

whatnot. Then i grab all the dairy and we leave with all the food. "hey dad we need to go to home

depot quick STEP ON IT" i yell before he speeds up over the speed limit. we make it to home depot

and run inside. Good it hasn't been looted. I run to the power tools and take them all before running

to the plywood and taking it all then we just go around collecting all the wood and even some metal

shingles and stuff that was there. We grab lots of chicken wire and mats too. lots of carpets. We grab

a lot of basically everything. While there I stamp a poster advertising my restaurant everywhere. On

the poster it says 'Luna's Foods' and then under that 'EVEN DURING THE APOCALYPSE' and

below that a picture of the restaurant front and description under that 'Just because it's the

apocalypse doesn't mean we are gonna shut down so come on down and buy our food. We also rent

rooms out but be warned, our state of the art security system will kill you if you have any malicious

intent. We also have running water and electricity. SO COME ON DOWN AND GET DELICIOUS

FOOD FOR DELICIOUS PRICES' and under that our address and a map of the sidy showing a

route from the middle of the city to the restaurant and i poke a dot on the map of where we are with

a you are here tag. I think I did a pretty good job on it. I post them everywhere we go. I did the same

thing at walmart. anyway we load everything into the truck and take off. when we get home we get to

work making an 'EVEN DURING THE APOCALYPSE' sign to put right under the words ``LUNA'S

FOOD '' in giant neon letters at the top of the restaurant. We pull it up using ropes from the top of

the building and have people connect it by hammering it in from their windows. It looks pretty good

and I think it's doing pretty well. Anyway, we go back inside and take the hazmat suits off, putting

them inside the radiation washers for good measure. Even though i know no radiation will come into

the property because of the radiation bubble i had them set up i still worry a little. Then I go inside

and start working on dinner for the family, having one of the waiters go outside and add seeds to the

fields. We have tomato seeds,potato seeds,lettuce seeds,carrot seeds,corn seeds,apple

tree seeds,wheat seeds,onion seeds.broccoli seeds,bell pepper seeds,watermelon seeds, and garlic

cloves we can plant. Halfway through making dinner however I got a notification.

Okay, that seems like it's a good enough menu now. I'm glad I did that. Oh hey look the pizza is

finished cooking. Now that I have my family and employee's food, I can wait for the customer.

BLING BLING

Hey thats the bell that goes off whenever someone rings the bell. One of my waitresses is at the

door waiting tho so it's fine. Soon an order will show up on this pad here. WAIT i need to deliver the

menu to the waitress. I go down in the elevator and see someone from my class here. What the

heck my customer is someone from my class. Really small world that someone from my class was

able to make it to my restaurant and survive the apocalypse without any issues and not some other

person. "hello elliot what can i get you" i say to him in a cheerful voice. "one table for one please" he replies looking slightly amused

"okay right this way sir." i reply before taking him to his table and handing him the menu as i say

"hello my name is luna i will be the one cooking your food tonight. Here is the menu your waitress

will be right out to hear your order" he replies with "okay thank you." I go upstairs telling the waitress

to go over to take his order in a minute.The menus here are cool though because in reality all the

the waitress has to instruct him on how to place the order because the menu is a tablet and when

you click the order button next to the food you get to use all the customisation options and add to

your cart and at the end you can click place order in the menu you will also be able to order a room

as well. He ordered the bacon cheeseburger meal with an over medium egg, a salad and one

apartment. YAY he is going to be staying here. This is the best. Hold on, Luna. Get your crush under

control. Okay i start on the Bacon cheeseburger basted in butter. You know the drill, it's the same

thing I cooked for the cookoff except with cheaper fresh beef from the store grinded in the meat

grinder and after cooking cook it in some duck fat oil before basting it in butter again. I start on my

secret seasoning though it goes like this: mix kosher salt, black pepper, parsley, paprika, onion

powder, garlic powder, some natural msg, and my secret genetically engineered pepper ground into

flakes in a mixing bowl. Now just add the mixture onto both sides of the burger before cooking. After

cooking, add the kosher salt,black pepper, and the ground up secret GE pepper onto both sides. My

secret sauce is simple: some secret GE pepper juice,worcestershire sauce,ketchup,mustard,mayonnaise,

garlic,sriracha,normal tabasco sauce,normal hot sauce,some water,some sunspicers,paprika,and some kosher salt.

mix thoroughly and make sure it is at the perfect mixture of spice by taste testing. It seems like it would be spicy but the unspicers prevent

that. Now unspicers are a type of pepper I modified to deactivate your Trpv1 receptors instead of

activating them. Trpv1 receptors are the receptors that feel spiciness and activate the pain centers of

the brain. So now you know how it works let's go back to the food. The loaded baked potatoes are

simple. Normal baked potato with butter, sour cream,shredded bacon,cheese,and a tiny amount of

diced onions inside of it. The potato wedges are just like fires except they are wedges and have

more seasoning like black pepper and ground pepper and my GE ground pepper and msg. Okay

now I will put it on the elevator tube to his table. You see we are on the second floor and each table

has an elevator in which right next to the table is a tube that has an opening next to the table. You

put the plate down on the table up here and press a button. it is slowly lowered down to the bottom

of the tube upon which the person who ordered will take the plate out as instructed by the screen.

the weight sensors in the elevator will recognise nothing is on it and move upwards until it has

reached the top. upon which it will either stay there or you will place another plate on and press the

button if there is more food. When the person is ready to pay they press a button on the bottom of

the elevator upon which it will be put into bill mode and the screen up here will flash red. you then go

over and place the bill on the elevator. The person will pay the bill and press a button on the elevator

with the bill and pay inside. Then the elevator will move upwards and turn itself back to normal food

delivery mode. I think it's a pretty high tech system myself and am proud to have thought of it. once

he pays the bill i will send the keycard to his apartment on said elevator. The keycard is the only way

to access the elevator and the apartment other than my master keycard. Hey it flashed red time to

send down the bill. I place the bill on the elevator and send it down. I hope he is satisfied. The

screen on the elevator will ask for a rating on the food from 1/10 and a rating of the restaurant and

service from 1/10 so I guess I'll get my answer in a second. Hey the bill is coming up. okay all the

money is there . Now it might seem stupid to be accepting dollars. Buuuuut If you look at the sales

menu I can trade in dollars I get from the restaurant into shop points. The system is 1 dollar to 10

shop points so yay. I can use those shop points in the shop in order to buy items and ingredients. I

also apparently have to pay rent to the system. a total of 100 shop points a month. so 10 dollars a

month. it is not that bad but there will be times where i wont get customers for months because of

the fact It's THE APOCALYPSE so yeah some factors. if i don't pay rent then all the features like

electricity,internet,running water,magic equipment,and security will completely shut down one by one

each day i don't pay rent starting from the internet then going to running water then going to magic

equipment then going to electricity then going to security. so all things considered it's important i pay

rent. I can get shop points from sales,quests,and fighting monsters and magic beasts. fighting

monsters and magic beasts can get me 10 points for a zombie and up to 1000 points for things like

magic dragons. Buuut it is very dangerous so i would like to stray away from that option and who

knows when a quest is gonna come in. Okay i got rated 8.5/10 for food 10/10 for restaurant design

and 8/10 for service. All in all not bad. okay sending down the keycard. Welp, my job is done for the

day time to ring the bell for dinner. i push the button which plays the sound Dinner time please report

to the restaurant tables for dinner 3 times in a robotic voice to all of my family's rooms. they all go

down into the dinner room and pick a table and the waitress goes over and explains that they have

to order, gives them a menu and explains that i instructed them to pick the for Luna's family option

for dinner. they all click it and i put the family option as pizza so they get asked how many slices and what toppings. I made a pizza with one of every topping and those that want more than one topping

will get a slice from each pizza to compensate. I send the pizza down the tubes and then wait until they are finished and then set the elevator

screens to tell them to click the bill button when done. I have the family menu option set at 0.00

dollars. I send the bill down when they are done and they just have to sign it. They do and then click

the button to send it up. They rate the experience as a 10/10 cook level 10/10 restaurant design and

5/10 service. I think it's because I gave them a bill for 0 dollars. Ugh, I just need to do it for the tube

system to work. i wanted them to feel the full luna's restaurant experience. I'm going to bed. after

walking up into my room i jump into my bed and instantly fall asleep.
