So putting the weird quest on a side note, I asked and received the schematics for the mana ballista, and downloaded the schematics for my brain and body.

Many minutes later~

I find myself tinkering on a prototype gun of sorts. The gun has a sleek black frame with tribal neon blue designs on it. Basically it works similar to the mana crossbows, but instead it condenses ambient mana into a mana crystal which is serving as a battery of sorts. Shape: Spoiler :

So far it fires these mana spikes that, unlike the crossbow, stick to a target draining the mana in them to fuel itself. It took a long time (13 min) to stumble upon accidentally when playing around in the creation of mana crossbows.

When I finished the prototype a ding and sudden blue window alerted me of what I had just done…

I tap on the underscores and type in Needle rifle as a credit to a well-known game called Ha*o. I, being the gentleman I am continue my research on the magical formations that go into programming the mana to do the things you want it to do. FIRST, you have to grind up a mana crystal and add some water. This produces a sticky substance with which you can make mana circuits. Currently we are using an improvised metal quill to draw the circuits in… it is a tiresome and tedious job… BUT the benefits are AMAZING~. Anyways I scan the new prototype in my hands and I get a popup on my H.U.D. display.
