"Thank you! Thank you! Now, before the concert officially begins, a word from the sponsor of this surprise event. Please welcome Mr. Kennedy Wave!"

(Finally!) I think.
I look at my communication crystal. Figures Oren would cause trouble again! But no matter...
The time has come.
I make a gesture at the side of the stage to those in the audience who nod and ready themselves. Ken walks on stage.
"Thank you, everyone, for attending this concert. Diva-de has kindly agreed to hold this event as a fundraiser for the patients at Wave Hospit...!"
The three men I placed in the audience get up...
GA! GA! GA!
And fire.
BAAN!!
At that instant, the main entrance to the hall is slammed open...
And a blur dashes down the theatre stairs, past the bullets...
And stops in front of Ken.
GA! GA! GA!
The sound of the bullets hitting metal rings through the air. When I recollect myself, I see him.
Oren, deflecting the bullets.
(No...NonononononoNO!!!!)
The audience, screaming, stampedes out of the theatre at full speed.
"GET HIM!!!" I yell, pointing to Oren.
My men in the audience prepare to fire, with some of my other minions coming into the room as the fans leave. But before they do anything...
The room is covered in a sphere of darkness rhime.
I hear the sound of footsteps running towards the theatre entrance. And when the rhime clears...
Oren, Sutoria, and Ken are gone.
"DAMN YOU!!!" I yell.
I bring my communication crystal to my lips.

To do both, he'll need to learn to accept guidance and coaching where it's sorely needed, craft a deck of unimaginable power, and not die whenever his opponents try and cheat him out of a hard-earn victory. But not all is as it seems in the shadows of Stormwall, and if Tay can figure out the importance of what it is he's stolen, he may just have a chance at saving the game of Runicka. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Runicka: Tournament of Monsters is a high fantasy, card game-based adventure novel with enough magic, worldbuilding, and characters to fill a Sanderson series. I would consider it a part of the GameLit subgenre. This series in particular is not an isekai, and will start and end in a high fantasy setting complete with its own lore and backstory. It is a progression fantasy, and I am writing it inspired by all the Yu-Gi-Oh mangas/animes, and all the hours I've invested/wasted (depending on who you ask) playing TCGs like Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic: The Gathering. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a work in progress. In your journey through Stormwall alongside Tay, you'll probably find typos, grammatical errors, and maybe a confusing sentence every once in a while (although I hope to keep these to a minimum). That said, comments and suggestions on where I can improve are not only encouraged but greatly appreciated. His voice is so deep that I didn't think it was Alcander. I looked straight in those deep coal eyes and said, "I Jenna Knox reject Alpha Alcander as my mate." *****Jenna Knox. She always believed her mate would be some guy in some shining armor and would take her far away from her pack and raise a perfect family. But what she didn't know was that her mate was going be some one who kills for fun. Kills other packs,And laughs at their alpha who's on the ground begging for mercy.
