《Unknown Past》Volume 2 Chapter 3: Loyalty, Part 12: Crystal's Perspective

(I can't. Not now. Not much longer.)
I continue to create walls of ice to attempt to slow my pursuers down.
BATAN!
Though my ice can stop them longer than other ice tone's, my lack of rhime is causing rhime deficiency effects to occur. And with that, my focus is deteriorating.
BATAN!
Yuri goes on ahead on the ceiling. I continue to run, spin around to create ice, then run some more in this pattern.
BATAN! BATAN! BATAN!
"Pick up the pace, CC!!" Yuri yells.
"I'm...trying!" I yell between breaths.
BATAN!!!!
Before I can continue up the stairs to our rooms, one of the enemies, a woman that looks like a more adult version of Mydrea, presses through...
BATAN!
And lands a kick to my chest, knocking me back. I crash at the base of the stairs, mostly uninjured, but I felt that attack more than usual. My defenses are weakening. I'm running out of time.
The woman cloaks her hands in fire, then rushes towards me.
"DON'T HURT SEPPE'S SISTER!!!" a familiar voice yells...
Gochin!
As the woman is hit in the face with a snowball.
Seppe. The only ice tone I know that can create snow.
I look up the stairs and see a heap of snowballs behind my sister. She picks them up and quickly throws them at the faces of all the yakuza members.
"Snowball! Snowball! Snowball! Snowball and snowball!" she screams.
Gochin! Gochin! Gochin! Gochin! Gochin!
Every snowball hits the face of her targets...
But this only agitates them, as the snowballs aren't injuring them at all.
I run up the stairs as fast as I can in my current state. The closest enemies try to follow.
"NO WAY!" Seppe yells.
She aims a snowball at...
(Oh boy...) I think.
Gochin!
Her snowball hits the edge of the drop-down door heading towards the attic of this building. It opens...
GGGOOOCCCCHIIIINNN!!!!
And LOTS of snow falls onto all the pursuers. Leave it to my prankster sister.
I get to the top of the stairs. The snow pile instantly melts, with the mobsters even more angry.

"Heads up!" Seppe yells...
As a giant snowball comes rolling down the stairs.
GOCHIN!!!
The snowball collides with all of those below, covering them in snow that instantly melts. They are now so angry, they're radiating heat from their rage alone. They charge up the stairs at an even faster speed.
I pick up Seppe, hold her over my left shoulder, and run. Using her rhime, she continues to create snowballs and tossing them at our gaining enemies.
"Snowball! Snowball!"
"RUN AWAY!!!!" Yuri yells, panicking.
PATAN! PATAN! PATAN!
"LET ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I run by the room I've previously frozen.
Sueka's room.
PATAN! PATAN!
I look at the door, then back at our pursuers, and continue this for some time.
(Should I?)
The thought of setting Sueka loose... Is that worse than what would happen to us if I didn't? Could she even hold her own?
PATAN! PATAN!
...
My opponents are getting closer.
(OOOOOooohhh... I'm going to regret this!)
I hold my open right hand out towards the door...
And deactivate my ice.
BBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!
The door to her room instantly flies off its hinges, slamming straight into the woman in front of our pursuers. I look inside of the room. A few of my enemies do as well.
And there is Sueka, whose right leg is still up from kicking down the door. She brings it down...
BATAN!!!!
Slams her foot into the ground, creating a small crater. I look at her face. A face of pure rage, with eyes red from all that crying.
Before I can say anything, she rushes over to me and grabs me by the neck, causing me to lose my grip on Seppe. Before Seppe lands on the ground...
BATAN!!!
I am smashed into the wall behind me, creating another crater.
"Where...is...my...brother!?!?!?!?"
Seppe quickly scoots away in fear.
While many of my opponents hesitate in confusion and rage, the woman who was hit by the door gets up and tries to hit Sueka with a burning fist.

Just for Sueka to grab it and grip it tightly.
"Where...is...he!?!?"
She grips my neck tighter, as well as the woman's hand. The flames don't seem to bother her.
GUKI!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The woman's hand is crushed. The sound of bones snapping crackles throughout the room. The woman attempts to remove her broken hand from Sueka's grip, but is unsuccessful. One of the woman's partners throws a fireball in our direction to separate us. Sueka lets go of me and the woman to dodge the fireball. It narrowly passes between the three of us. Sueka looks at the woman, and then to her group as the woman returns to them.
"What...do...you...want?" Sueka coldly asks.
Many of them glance at each other in fear, but eventually decide to fight. Their fire rhime begins to encircle all of them.
"Remember Hunter's orders! Kill all who aren't the target!" one yells.
BBBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!
Those weren't the words Sueka wanted to hear.
Sueka punches her right hand into the wall. Unlike before, nearly the entire wall, going down the corridor for about eight rooms, shatters to pieces. The debris creates a cloud of dust, blocking my view.
"It's...all...your...fault..." Sueka mutters quietly.
I look over to Sueka and see her silhouette. She removes her two chuí that are strapped to her back.
"It's all...your fault..."
The debris clears up a bit, giving me a look at Sueka.
Her eyes. Eyes open wide and shrucken irises. Eyes of hatred. Eyes of rage.
Eyes of bloodlust.
Sueka drags her chuí across the floor, her body swaying back and forth as she walks towards the group.
"It's all your fault."
One of the men in the group charges towards her, his body completely covered in flames.
BATAN!
GUKI!
At a speed I couldn't follow, Sueka swings the chuí in her right hand horizontally, hitting her victim into the wall on her left...
Breaking his ribs.
The man gasps for air. His crimson blood begins to drip onto the floor.
"It's all your fault."
By the time those in the opposing group look back at Sueka after seeing their comrade fall...
Sueka is already in front of the closest enemy.
BATAN! GUKI! BATAN! GUKI! BATAN! GUKI! BATANBATANBATAN! BATAN! GGGGGUUUUUUKKKKIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!
Within seconds, the enemies are overpowered.
And the spectacle is one out of a nightmare.
I quickly shield Seppe with my body, blocking her from viewing the slaughter.
Chuí hitting vital points. Punches breaking bones. Sueka stomping on those writhing in pain on the ground. Every opponent easily overpowered. Sueka gets hit with many flames, but it doesn't slow her down. She continues her advance. Deranged, continuing to repeat "It's all your fault!".
And the blood... The blood of her victims. Blood that continues to cover her clothes more and more with every strike. By the time she's halfway through the enemy squad, nearly all of the front of her is colored crimson.
But her onslaught does not cease.
I created some ice to try to slow her down.
BATAN!
But she breaks right on through, continuing her massacre.
I look at those she leaves behind in her wake. Are they all dead? Are any alive? I can't tell.
My mind is a whirlpool of questions.
(Is this...the real Sueka? Was she like this before meeting Oren? Does Oren really matter so much..that her love for him can restrain...this!? Is this really the Sueka I know? Do...do I even know her!?)
All I know is this. Oren called her a yandere. And he embraced it. He cares for Sueka, even when he knows of...this side of her. The side of her I know he didn't want any of us to see.
The side...that is a monster.
She is a yandere. A true yandere.
One I doubt I will ever see the same way again.
