Power. Unimaginable power. Power to change New Vegas. Perhaps even the world! Power within my grasp!
For the first time in my life, I am in flight, soaring on wings of rhime. Descending from Heaven to punish those who have made this once fair city Hell! At a speed matching that of a rocket, I rush into the side of the rich men's complex. I hear them scream, then a few of them cough, trying to wave away the dust. As soon as the debris clears, they all look at me with fear in their eyes.
"You scumbag riffraff!" Dives yells. "What is the meaning of this!?"
I walk closer to him. As I pass by some of the other rich men, their rhime gets absorbed into me, causing them to drop to the floor in a comatose state.
"Stay back! Stay back, you monster!"
He hurls porcelain tea set pieces at me. A waste of money that could have gone to countless poor who are starving on the streets! He begins to back away from me and towards the wall opposite me. I touch the table in my way and it turns to dust.
"V-v-v-very well then! Electric Drive: !!!!"
He throws a ball of electricity directly at me, which explodes on contact.
"Take THAT!!!"
As soon as he says this, the rhime from the ball gets absorbed directly into my body. When the rhime is completely absorbed, Dives stares me, dumbfounded.
"That's...that's impossible!!"
I continue to slowly walk towards him.
"Waitwaitwait! You want money? I can give you money! Weapons! Drugs! Whatever you want! Please, fine, I give up! We'll change the system! Spread the wealth! Anything you want! But spare me! Please!"
I finally catch up to him and grab him by the neck. I make sure not to absorb his rhime so that he is conscious through the entire ordeal.

"You had your chance. For years, you tormented us. Made the system Hell on Earth."
I begin to squeeze tighter.
"You even sacrificed innocent lives long before you became wealthy."
Tighter. Tighter.
"And now you beg for your life!?"
I pull him closer to me.
"Let me tell you something," I hiss into his ear, "your life is fucking worthless."
And with that, I set his whole body on fire. His screams of agony are music to my ears! Finally, to see the man that made my lady suffer, made everyone suffer, is now suffering a thousand-fold in his final moments! This power! I see what he's desired, but unlike him, I can do anything! Anything for me and my brother! The world is our oyster! I am unmatched! Power! POWER!!! P....!!!!!!!!!
"URK!!!"
(What?...What was that? I was like...I lost myself for a second.)
As I ponder what the sensation was, I hear ringing in my ears. Ringing that...seems to be getting louder. Ringing...Ringing!...RINGING!!!!
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Everything around me is becoming a blur! Rhime! I need rhime! I need to consume rhime! Wait! Why do I need to consume rhime!? The world around me is beginning to changing color! Colors dancing everywhere! It's rhime! My rhime! All my rhime! This isn't my doing! What's going on!?
"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Displaced
Sucked into the void without warning, a handful of people from around the globe suddenly find themselves in the foreign world of Scyria, a place filled with people who can jump three times their height, conjure fire from thin air, and perform any number of other inhuman feats. Scattered across the realm and armed with newfound powers far greater than those of the native Scyrians, they each struggle to find their path in this unfamiliar reality. Their unforeseen arrival sends tremors throughout the world, toppling a centuries-long age of relative peace, prosperity, and progress as they each leave their mark on the world in their own ways. But Scyria has its own share of intrigue, even without these unwelcome guests. A major metropolis is wiped from existence out of nowhere, triggering a manhunt across the continent for those deemed responsible. Two feuding nations decide to bring their hostilities to a new level. Blades clash, nations fall, and plots years in the making begin to reveal themselves. This is the story of some unwilling trespassers, taken from their lives against their will and thrown into situations they barely understand. This is the story of some unfortunate Scyrians, their lives blown apart by the newcomers’ sudden and destabilizing existence. This is the story of Scyria, a world with a lost past buried beneath millenia. But as both the Earthlings and Scyrians are about to find out, sometimes the past doesn’t stay buried forever... I marked the story as having Gore, Sexual Content, and Traumatising content because it does contain a bit of all three, though not what I believe is a significant amount. Just wanted to be safe. It does contain a whole lot of profanity, though. That one is very much deserved. A/N: Story type is largely Xuan Huan and will have irregular update schedule. Chapter length range from 2 - 3 K words each and may have some grammatical errors. While this fiction isn't my first work, I intend to continue it for some time. I hope readers understand that there will be lot of mistakes.

Note: This is the first story I've ever written, so I'd appreciate some cut throat critiques on my writing.

Greys II - Ghosts
There he stood, dark eyes, dark hair, beautiful in the most devastating of ways. It scared me how little he had changed, his hair was longer and black, his frame thinner, like he hadn't eaten since I last saw him. His eyes were different, lacking something they had always held before, lacking anything really, and yet he was the same. He looked weak, but I knew he wasn't. "Hi, angel."His voice was just as dead as his eyes. It sent a shiver up my spine. That was the reason I felt sick, that was the reason he seemed different. He was dead, and as much as I wanted to hate him, I was sad he was empty, sad he wasn't the same man anymore."Hello, Gabriel."My voice came out softer than I would have liked, the words burning my tongue. But it didn't matter, I got the desired effect even if the volume wasn't there. He flinched, his eyes widening, his eyebrows twitching up and together, his jaw setting for just a moment. But then it was gone and he looked away, death settling back in his eyes, in the lines of his face.» ✦ «#2 in Angel Romance#3 in Demonology#11 in Thriller#Mature, 18+ for all the reasons. Not a YA novel (again).**Due to disturbing themes, violence, depression, language and literally everything else, this is not for the kids. Ghosts is darker than Intentions. But you need to live in the dark to appreciate the light...or at least, the lighter grays 🖤🖤
