The horrid memories keep flooding back! Who is that kid!? And why does he know her song!? She's been gone for years! Her kind would never come down here! What in the!?

I get slapped hard across the face by Chates, who is still using my appearance. I fall.

"What are you doing out here?" he asks me.

After recomposing myself, I slowly get to my feet.

"I...couldn't wait any longer. One shouldn't sit around while others are suffering."

"Remember the plan. And remember your place."

I remain silent at this.

"You may be the strongest of us here, but we have our orders. Trust in my brother."

"I don't trust anyone. Not anymore."

Chates says nothing, but turns into this Oren character. I quickly jump back with a slight hint of fear.

"What is it about this kid that makes the undefeated assassin freak out?" he asks.

I again recompose myself.

"He brings up...traumatizing memories."

I slowly start to walk away.

"Where're you going?" he asks me.

"Wherever the wind takes me for the time being."

As I walk away, I think about what transpired. That kid, that Oren, he's full of contradictions. He wants to protect others, but he knows that song. And yet, his voice and the voice that was singing don't match. That voice was a girl's voice. And not a voice I've heard before. And he seemed to do that involuntarily. He seemed just as surprised as me. Well, no matter the cost, I must achieve my goal. No matter what memories flood back to me, I won't panic next time. Next time, Oren will be defeated.

But...he cares for Hisashi.
