《GREED : ALL FOR WHAT?》Chapter 23-What is this about stellar?

In the High Heaven realm, you hardly see origin gods around. Sovereigns are usually the ones that go about taking care of the race or family. The higher the number of sovereigns an organization has the more pull they can have in the ancient battlefield. But when sovereigns become origin gods they must leave High Heaven and go to the upper realm because they will face a sense of suppression from the power of the world. This power of the world acts to suppress every creature within a realm to the sovereign level. So every origin god feels a sense of discomfort from the weakness. It isn't apparent to new origin gods but when they leave for the upper realm and return, the difference becomes stark clear. The minimum requirement to leave for the upper realm is the sovereign level of power but you can bring weaker people with you. It is just that the weakest person that can survive in the upper realm is the king of law or the mid-god level of power. The upper realm is truly where Dragons come to create their lair, if you aren't a dragon yourself then you just might become dragon chow.
Gehald used to do business with the group of "cool" guys Staten mentioned. They are a mercenary group, and sometimes they would need healing. At their levels of power, it is difficult to get injured but when they are injured it is very difficult to heal. So they would need some truly precious healing treasures to get back in shape. He would get them life essence from his plane if the injury was serious and life-threatening, but other times he would use his mastery of the law of life to heal them. It wasn't a surprise that these types of people would want him around when they plan to go to a very dangerous place. He rubbed his forehead before answering "I won't be able to Staten. I still have some business to take care of and it will take a while."

"Really? Are you sure it's not because of stellae? I can let her go you know. We need you, we need an origin god with a life ring."
"What is this about stellar?" Gehald asked in exasperation.
Staten tried to convince him but he shook his head and turned the switch. He had things to do after the trial of heaven was over. His grand plan for perfection will be carried out in high heaven. He will take as much power as he could, but before that he will have to count the time until he could access his reward. His patience will only be rewarded after a few hours of fighting. It wasn't long but for some they just wanted to be out of the tower as soon as possible, they want to forget what they went through and what they did. Like the giant beside Gehald, the giant had long cried himself to sleep.
The matches were quick and short in the case where there was a margin between the fighters but it was gruesome for others with similar levels of power which was the majority of the fights. No one who could survive up to this level was weak, they could be incompatible in skills which could cause an illusion of weakness, but no one could be disregarded. And so without much fanfare, the challenge section ended and all their booths were suddenly transformed into a private room.
Gehald's lethargic mind became active again when his surroundings changed suddenly. He focused a while to listen to the message from Mother High Heaven. Her message contained information about the reward list and that this was where he would be till the end of the trial. This period is for those that won origin essence to use it. It will take time and any disturbance could endanger their breakthrough, even injure them severely.

Gehald checked his room, it was small like the arena. It was demarcated into sleeping quarters, a library, a laboratory for runesmithing, blacksmithing, alchemy, and others. There was also a meditation section. The most notable quality about this place was the quality and quantity of origin energy, as a high elf who has a high affinity with magic he could tell that there was probably not anywhere in all of High Heaven that could beat this place in the concentration of origin energy.
The origin energy, the peace, and the personal monitoring from mother High Heaven will all ensure an easy transition to the origin god level for those that want to advance. Gehald shook his head wistfully, he wished he could use this place to become an origin god but he had another plan for his future.
He stopped looking around and tried to sense his pocket dimension. He nodded when he realized he had regained access. He decided to just get his rewards, maybe read a few books that will increase the chances of success for his plan. He brought up his status and indicated for the reward list.

Journey West 5000
With her parents murdered and her brother abducted, a trainee Monk of the Gun pursues the one responsible, the Bull Demon King, undefeated Warlord of the Crimson Army.Struggling to track down her enemy while braving the dangers of the wilds, she enlists the help of Sun Wukong, but 500 years under a mountain have taken its toll. Unstable and weakened, will he be more hindrance than help? Can he become the warrior he once was?A Monk and a Monkey journey across a world...... where the remnants of technology are seen as magic, while pockets of humanity strive to drag themselves out of ignorance.... where the descendants of animal-human hybrids, once created as instruments of war, now seek to dominate the world as demons.... where beings who call themselves Immortals and Gods preoccupy themselves with selfish pastimes, ignoring everything else. Among other things, a story about growth, grit, and being better than the person you were yesterday. Here's my rambling on why I'm writing Journey West 5000. Journey West 5000 is my crazy ambitious writing project to adapt a classic epic called "Journey to the West" for a global, modern audience. It's a sci-fi story disguised as fantasy, and has some road trip + monster of the week elements (as does the original Journey to the West). No system, definitely no harem, gradual power progression. Hmm, what else can I put here so potential readers know what to expect? My writing style for now is mostly "show don't tell", because I believe that readers don't need to have everything pointed out to them, and that they should be allowed to make up their own minds about characters based on the actions of those characters. I'm also trying to be less long-winded (a weakness pointed out by some friends) in order to write according to something Neil Gaiman said, which is to write as though I'm the one who has to pay for every word, not the reader. This will bring down my chapter word counts, and might drive away potential readers, but I believe there's value in learning to compress and be concise. All chapters posted here will have been edited. Constructive criticism, comments, and feedback would be very much welcome and appreciated. Please, please help point out any typos or grammatical mistakes, I'm striving to minimize those as much as possible. Above all, I hope you enjoy my story.

Alternate Worlds
This is actually a group of short stories I did some time ago. The first group are 3 stories, all starring the same Protagonist but with different foes and ways of how the stories play out. Past this I have other story lines that I have done this with and will likely use this heading to put them out there. - Note: The Book Picture is the location of the Portal the car went through. There are 4 such statues set across from each other and then two of the large pillars, set across the street from one another. New Story Line: Lost is about a man lost in a world that Used to have summoned hero's, ones where the mages who did the summonings did not close the pathways properly, so sometimes people from all across time, space, and dimension end up falling in to their world. Some become heroes, some 'Demon Lords' and some something else. I have 3 versions of this story which I will put here, one chapter a day. 2cd version was massively flawed, which I only realized while sharing it. As such I am skipping it and moving on to the 3rd version. The 3rd Story of Lost is about a man who mysteriously fell in to a world based on video games, complete with leveled zones, levels of skills, professions and so forth. Being from a world like ours, with the knowledge of these things, gives him a decided edge and better potential than normal. --------------------------------------- New story - New Life, Old Soul is the story of a man who used desperate experimental magic to grant himself a new life in a new world. This is an Iseki story with a single twist as no outside force dropped or summoned this soul to its new life. Come and see what sort of world and life this willing traveler of Realities unknown experiences. I will try and post once a day, though times may vary depending on my the wierdness that is my life. ^-^ ------------------------------ Cosmic Chaos A Void Maker tried to destroy several realities, by forcing their crystal shells in to each other. The AOs of those realms fought back the best they could, including a desperate play of opening random portals between the divergent universes and the void. Several things, peoples, and animals fell through these portals. In the grand scheme of things very little of this had long reaching consequences. However, Some of these universes gained new time lines from these events. This is a story of one such event, of one very lost traveler dropped in to a very different world than the one he came from. Tags: Isekai, Gender Change (Male to Female), Magic, Drama (lets face it most of my stories have a bit of this in them even when I don't tag them thus, though I don't know how 'Realistic' the characters are.) -------------------------------

The Devils Of The Biterrain
Zavier was an unremarkable suburbanite living just outside of Seattle. He was finishing up his final semester of high school and preparing to go to college despite a nagging lack of excitement for his future. In the blink of an eye, his life is thrown into chaos when Zavier meets a young man from an alien world named Yafu. Yafu has accidentally been thrown to Earth via portal while chasing the dangerous Poison Fang cult on his world. These two boys quickly come into contact with Arigo, a mysterious and powerful defender of Earth from various interlopers from Yafu’s world, known as the Biterrain. When Arigo discovers that Zavier was used as an unknowing and seemingly impossible vessel for the Fang to try to invade Earth, Arigo decides to send the two boys, along with his faithful assistant Anenna, to the Biterrain for answers on Zavier’s anomalous condition. In this new and dangerous world, Zavier weighs his own feelings of personal inadequacy against the backdrop of his sudden and mysterious importance. Meanwhile Yafu struggles with the limits to his thirst for vengeance and ultimately his future without it. Finally, Anenna must begin to confront a new identity as the last parts of her old one abandon her. In the background of their journey is the mystery around the Immortal King, the mythic founder of the Biterrain’s dominant religion who allegedly disappeared to Earth many millennia ago. Despite the planet being central to the dogma around their messiah figure, Earth has been relegated to myth and conjecture by the general populace of the Biterrain due to their inability to validate its existence in the present time. How will Zavier navigate in a world where he holds its holy grail within his own identity and who can he really trust in a world of such contrived obliviousness?
