Belle's eyelid enlarges as the eerily scene still lingers in her mind "Sinful wills? y-you, what have you done!?" to gather that much resentment, the number of people he needed to kill was too much!

In Pate's consciousness, an uncountable number of wills in the form of human silhouettes were crawling at him.

Trying to get a piece of him, they grit their words out of their mouth as the hatred comes towards him "Die! Bastard!"

"Look, what have you done to us!"

Still, holding his chunk of awareness Pate lifted his head to look at the kneeling white-haired lady "What have I done? just killing some to retain a piece of peace here in this world, you ask me what should I do in this chaotic era that will come?"

Brandishing the bear claws that glow with a metallic luster, Pate said in a low voice "I will massacre every one of them, staining my hand and even drowning my soul with their blood in exchange for peace!"

"That way, I could pay my crime toward my saviors who just wanted to live a peaceful life but -" a tear slowly fell in the right eye of Pate.

"Die, murderer!" Belle didn't listen to Pate's mumbling but attacked directly, slashing sideways the greatsword created a white slash in the dimming night and tore against the exposed waist of Pate.

Belle stomps hard at the ground and appears above Pate who is in midair as his large wound sprays blood in the air.

"To me, you are just a psychotic pirate who kills at your whim! don't spout that nonsense to me!" Belle shouted in anger and smacked the whole greatsword at Pate, smashing him to the ground "Ahhhhhhhh!"

Not holding back and giving her all, the attack force created a crater as the smoke dust flew to the surroundings with a BANGGGG!!!

Belle jumps out of the smoke dust as she breathes hard, others hear the large commotion and when they stop and look, they see wide smoke dust that blocks their inquiry.

"Big boss ended it immediately, so much for his showing off!" Raffa just smiles at Big Goof's comment and just thought 'Idiot, Pate is so much harder to kill than an immortal cockroach!'

A guard fell to the ground when he slightly wanted to look at the commotion and Jic didn't let that opportunity slip and attacked with a speed that the guards couldn't block.

"Hey, If you want your life intact then don't ever take your eyes off me!" Jic brandished his dual knife and slightly peeked at the side 'I hope that guy wouldn't rampage here!'

"pant… pant…" spending too much stamina from that attack, Belle pierce the greatsword to the ground as she holds it tightly for support "That illusion earlier took too much toll on my sanity, it's a good thing that he talks too much."

The thin smoke dust faintly revealed the motionless body of Pate and seeing this Belle straightened her back as the black aura that shrouded him became much thicker, coiling around Pate like a living snake "Still alive?"

Pate slowly stood up but this time, his aura is much different because of the black smoke that oozes out of him like a little black snake wriggling around his body.

And noticeable black runes of a roaring bear were glowing on his forehead, as Pate opened his eyes there was only black like an abyss look at the depth of Belle's soul "T-this, does he become a demon!?"

Unbeknownst to Belle, not only her but everyone in the vicinity felt the very same feeling - like a predator looking at them, the prey!

Belle's psyche roared inside her as her instinct moved her body, swinging the greatsword in front and a surging black force flew her in the distance.

As she was in the midair, her mind was blank and her body was disoriented from the impact. She didn't even feel the stinging pain that her body got from an unknown attack 'W-what is happening!?'

Falling and rolling in the ground attaining many bruises, Belle was confused as to what really happened.

She tried to stand up but failed and could only support herself on her knees.

Belle's appearance is a mess, blood was flowing in the side of her face as her mind was fogged up because of how quickly the attack took place.

She looks up to see Pate who looks like a devil, he loses himself out because of his power and she could only smirk with disgust "I hate someone like you, who sells themselves for power!"

Finding her strength out of nowhere, Belle stood up and unconsciously lets out a pressure that belongs to those who have qualifications to be a king "I'll not be defeated by someone like you!"

And like a beast that was threatened, Pate growled back as it wielded its metallic claws and rushed toward Belle in a second.

But a greatsword covered by a Haoshoku Haki slashes to the incoming claws that are shrouded in a black aura, creating a massive impact that repels everything around them!

Everyone who was in the midst of battle was repelled in the distance, PB watched the battle unfold "This bastard, using such uncontrollable power!"

But PB could feel two clashing powers, Pate with a powerful baleful resentment that created an eroding power that anyone's sanity would crumble in its presence.

While the white-haired girl's power is much more intimidating and fierce, unleashing a prominent pressure that can go toe to toe with Pate's power!

"This girl power has so many similarities from the three legendary powers of Tenryubito!" PB murmured in silence and didn't notice the slight movement of the sleeping little loli.

"Is it Pate going too far!?" Jic takes cover behind a big boulder.

"Big Boss!" Big Goof tried to go to the scene but the ensuing force fend him off.

Raffa silently bears the impact and solemnly looks at the eruption of battle between the two 'That baleful aura of Pate, is starting to worry me!'

In a far distance were a bunch of marines, spectating the battle and some of them were expressing their shock as they didn't expect a powerful clash of power here on this island.

But Lieutenant Curio shows a satisfied smile as he peeks with binoculars. "I didn't expect that the battle between the two would escalate from this and that young man's power is quite an interesting one, an unknown devil fruit!!? hhhmmmm"

Putting down the binoculars, he said "Ready yourself! In any minute their fight would enter a standstill, that is the time we will catch them in one swoop!"
