Letting the corpse fall in the ground with a thud, Pate turned his head to see the scene littered with bandits' corpses. In contrast to the green vitality aura that cloaked his body, the surroundings are eerily quiet with a slight tinge of horror.

While Pate's every wound healed at very fast-paced, he looked at the setting sun as his thoughts lingered on how weak the group of bandits was 'Well, there are just pawns anyway.'

"Hey guys, you finished up there?" Pate turn his head to see the struggling Jic to the side of a tree, pulling a string wire as the coiled excess of it was in his gritting mouth "Urrrgghhh!"

Hearing a faint flop of metal, Jic's eyes shine "Shhh, done!" and wipe the sweat off on his forehead as he expressed satisfaction.

Pate could only respond with a frown, not knowing what Jic was trying to do and heard Raffa saying "This thing will do!" and slash the saber that he got from a bandit's corpse, attempting to get the hang of using it.

"Soon, the uptight girl will come up here by then there is a high chance that the mastermind of this scheme will appear and will cleanse us up." Pate brought up the circumstances while withdrawing his green aura.

Sharing the possible spectacle that might transpire later so these two would not be caught in surprise. He came up with this overall plot after Pate acquired a lot of information back in the town earlier.

"Got it!" Raffa nodded and Jic smiled as he pulled a dual knife out as it danced around his arms with flexibility but a feeling of danger shone through the dimming day "I'm always ready!"

A blurred shadow jump out of the woods and landed on the shoulder of Pate "They are here, I want to fight too but I have a kid to -"

"Babysit!" Pate added immediately in which a swiping claw's paws responded to him and he laughingly blocked it with ease while Jic and Raffa laughed at the side.

"So you are and have time to joke around!?" a menacing and cold voice of Belle sounded in the dark woods with a series of rustled noise of footsteps over leaves and twigs.

They stop their ruckus and stare at the emerging factions of Belle, Pate chucklingly mumbles "Heh, you are not a punctual person aren't you, coming too earlier than the set time we both agreed upon!?"

Instead of getting angry, Belle just sweetly smiles "You know, you're quite a handsome young man if not for the six holes with a bunch of wiggling scars in your chest. It's quite horrifying to look out!"

PB and others could only stay quiet as they didn't expect that the honorable and gracious lady would fiercely respond to Pate's sarcasm.

'Even I don't poke that scar whenever we play around but this time, this girl!' PB sweated and quietly vanished on Pate's shoulder as the tension got heavier around Pate.

Big Goof on the side of Belle could only gulp at how savage the comeback of his big boss was.

Belle felt that she had just crossed the line and said "Ow it's alright, pirates have a menacing and scary appearance so yours are acceptable. Don't have to worry!"

Pate's face was so dark that made Jic and Raffa choose to back out a little distance to not be caught in the crossfire.

A chuckling sound came out of Pate as he raised his head and looked at Belle "It's decided then, I'll let you see what these six holes and wiggling scars could do!" a sickening aura oozed out of Pate as it covered him up with black aura.

"Pate!" PB shouted out, didn't expect that Pate would snap out easily and use a power that he can't fully control. Remembering when he used one of its powers in the bubble area, he berserk out of control and almost destroyed a quarter of the whole place.

"Captain, this aura!" Jic shouted at Raffa who mumbled to himself "Another aura! but this one is much more menacing!"

Watching Pate's menacing aura that shrouds him, Belle frowns while unsheathing the greatsword in her back "Go, I'll deal with the young man. Big Goof, you deal with Raffa Slasher while Nana deals with the other one, and the rest would be searching the whereabouts of my Lil sis. Got it!?"

She planned to negotiate first to ensure her little sister's safety but with this notion, she was unable to turn the time back and could only deal with these situations with force!

"Yes!"

"Good, scatter!" Belle sprung forward while the rest dispersed around, to each of their assigned tasks.

Belle appeared in front of the standing young man who was still in the shroud of black aura "Still not moving then die pirate!" slashing the heavy greatsword with ease but was stopped by a delicate hand which was covered of black baleful aura.

"Huh!?" she sees Pate who looks at her with coldness within his eyes "As expected from a pirate!"

Pate tried to get ahold of himself as one of the seed sins fused to himself 'I'll try to make the situation here much more chaotic to make the rat hiding in the dark reveal itself.'

As their hand and greatsword collided with force a surge of negative sentiments rushed through Belle's mind as an impression of submerging herself into a full of souls that tried to pull her down as they whispered their deep hatred of revenge!

Pate sees the clouding eyes of the young girl in front of him and could only step back to give Belle some space to breathe.

After a few seconds, Belle snaps out of illusions and falls to her knees as she pants for air 'W-what is that scene!?'

"Did you see it? the despair, sorrow, hatred, and miseries of those sinful wills!?"

Belle slowly turns her head to Pate, whose appearance changes in a matter of seconds.

Claws that much longer and harder as it gleams in the moonlight and a black fur of a beast grown in both of his arms up to his elbows.

Few scriptures like runes glowing in his eyes and if you look closely a bear totem would be seen roaring.

A fang was peeking out of Pate's lips as he exhaled steam out of his mouth "One of the Seed Sins: Bear Form!"
