Waves of raging sea launched to the forest area in all directions, trying to engulf the leftover island.

"Pate enclosed the forest!" the phantom cat yells at Pate who puts his hand in the ground trying to urge all of the roots that he can control.

Massive roots sprung up at the bottom, forming a wooden wall around the forest that stopped the waves but the tremendous quake almost threw Pate in his place.

"Uurrrgghhh!" Pate with his might tried to manipulate the roots to grow and enclosed the whole land as he felt with his perception that this piece of land started to sink.

As the light can't penetrate through the large roots the inside of the forest was snatched out of its light.

And Pate sees that there is some seawater leak in each of the walls he created and can only repeat the same method to double the wooden wall that enclosed the forest.

"That's enough, you can use vines to plug the holes between each of the roots." seeing that Pate started to do unnecessary action, the phantom cat can only stop him as he doesn't want to exhaust him when they are just starting to sink to the sea.

"Ow, right." Pate did what the Guardian Forest said and he couldn't help but feel breathless as his mind kept thinking he was in an enclosed place but he immediately dismissed those thoughts as he knew that he wouldn't be short in the air here in the forest.

After he is done, he spreads his perception and feels the surroundings "Ow, ain't this land will float as it has an air here that will pull up this enclosed land in the sea!?"

"It won't because the hundreds of pieces of land that the quake shattered will sink in the sea creating a gravitational force that will pull us down deep in the sea." The phantom cat examined the wooden wall with vines and leaves that crawled there and then "And a whirlpool will be created and sucked this place down."

A drop of water will be heard in a random place coming from the ceiling of the enclosed wooden wall.

"Ow." Pate mindlessly replied to his explanation though he didn't understand the gist of it and said "Eyy, about how I should go back up on the surface. You're joking, right? Could you please tell me about the plan so I can prepare after I help you?"

The phantom cat sighed in defeat that Pate felt a dreadful idea "D-don't tell me!"

"Yes, I was so exhilarated about the idea of coming back to my birthplace and form a foolproof plan but I neglected one thing." looking at Pate with an apologetic smile.

Pate even though the forest was shrouded in the darkness he can still perceive the emotion and the expression of the phantom cat "Y-you f*cker forgot how I can go back to the surface! Y-you!"

He didn't even know what to say and could only walk back and forth as he tried to think of a way out 'should I open the wooden wall and fly out of here!?'

The phantom cat just looked at him with guilt and could only think of a way but he didn't know that Pate started to spread his perception and could only lament as Pate perceived that they were in the depth of the sea.

Sighing, the phantom cat can only bewitch the kid using an ancient voice "Don't worry kid, a chance will be presented amid a challenge. Don't give up and persevere as a man that wants to become a brave warrior of the sea -"

"Shut up!" Pate could only grit his teeth but he was stunned as he felt an enormous being charging at their location "T-this is bad there is something that is charging at our location and it's humongous!"

"What!?" the phantom cat closed its eyes as it wanted to see what existence it was "Not good! It's a Sea King and an adult one at that!" even though it's a smaller class Sea King it would still be devastating to meet one in the depths of the sea.

'Shit!' Pate tried to think as he stretched his perception to the location of the incoming Sea King and observed it.

Like a typical Sea King in One Piece anime, it had a long snake physique and a dinosaur head that was full of triangular teeth that can snap a ship in two.

"I can only scare it away then!" he couldn't think of a way to scare it but to fight it underwater and used that if it did not word then he would use his Sin Seeds.

Closing his eyes Pate grows two roots under the forest land and the two roots squeeze a way out of the wooden wall that enclosed the forest area.

And he uses the filtered substance of the blood and meat of those marines and pirates he killed earlier and injects it into the two roots, seeing that the forest guardian filters this out of the blood and meat that is injected to me then it shows how there is a negative impact it should have if injected to me.

The two roots become red but with a tinge of black that shines in the depth of the water "Here, I come!"

With a flap of its tail, the Sea King could traverse the sea with ease as it eyes it target a round ball of meat in the eyes of the Sea King, It could sense some life force inside of it making the Sea King drool.

But it looked in curiosity as two tails started to come out of its bottom and a disgusting smell attacked the nostril of the Sea King that made it stop from advancing but it was so near that the smell still irritated its nostril.

As the Sea King was having a second thought about whether it should snack on the ball in front of it, the two tails of the ball swung an attack to the Sea King making it furious.

The Sea King opened its mouth wide so that the tails landed on it and with a snap of the Sea King's mouth it snapped inside.

But a delicious taste didn't come but a disgusting red smoke spread inside that made the Sea King roll in the sea and puke out the splitter woods that float in the sea.

As the red smoke still lingers inside of the mouth of the Sea King it swims and retreated far away, not wanting to eat this disgusting prey.

With a doubtful look, the phantom cat just stared at Pate who just sat with an unbelievable expression and weakly said "It just ran away."

"Yeah, I saw that too. What is that red smoke that you used?" with an interesting inquiry, the phantom cat looked at him.

"It's the substance that was filtered out of the blood and meat of those marines and pirates, didn't know it would work in scaring away a predator of the sea like that." Pate said while thinking that treasuring those substances carefully might be handy in the future.

"Ahh, those? you keep that stuff, eww." the phantom cat can only pity the Sea King earlier, to think it would swallow the impurities, toxins, and many more substances that have a negative impact on any being. Now he understands why it ran away while puking the splitters on its way.
