The wind blows in every direction as the four explosive marble explodes in the location of Pate.

The smoke and dust block the vicinity, that's why Captain Jiggs just looks ahead as he witnesses ten massive roots grow in the ground and enlarge forming a wooden massive hand that can swat him like a fly.

'This is going to be trickier!' with a frown on his face.

"Controlling woods, just like I think he has eaten wood wood devil fruit!" Captain Jiggs fishes out dozens of marbles in his side pockets as he readied himself to launch a barrage of attack and if the situation arises he has no choice but to use that move.

The smoke subsided as Pate just looked calmly at Captain Jiggs "What are your other motives other than my head?" a unique red blood color of the wood was enveloping him, protecting him from the explosion and only his face can only be seen peeking a look.

Splitting in four red blood wood like a tail of a beast that was attached to the back of Pate and Captain Jiggs just look at him with ponder as he wants to look for a weakness that he can target.

Normally woods are easily succumbed to fire and be burned to charcoal but this wood that was used by this kid has a terrifying resistance from fire, he could only think if he could somehow talk his way through to this noble kid and see a loophole when he put his guard down.

But he saw through his vision that six black marbles were zooming in his location 'To think he prepared too many explosives here in the forest, so that is his goal in the first place!'

Seeing this, Captain Jiggs smiled like he won this fight already as the explosion of the six black marbles didn't happen but it produced a black smoke that rendered the 15 miles of the location of Pate into black zones where he couldn't see everything even if his hand was in front of him.

'I'll block your eyes first then.' he strode in the air as he blurred because of his speed and circled the black as he time to time flick many explosives marbles into the black smoke 'You are 100 years early to fight me ahahahahaha'

A small black mushroom smoke was created as the surroundings were completely destroyed and even Captain Jiggs who tried to distance himself was thrown in the air and fell to the ground, destroying dozens of trees he crushed into but he still smiled in victory even though blood sipped out of his lips.

Standing up, he looked at the massive black smoke he created and can't help but marvel at his creation 'Explosion, sure is the beautiful result of a powerful blast!'

He strode to the location and didn't even use a moonwalk to go there as he knew that the kid wouldn't have a chance to survive that surefire annihilation.

And when he reached the place the surrounding area was still blanketed in a massive black smoke as a burnt smell spread out, he couldn't even open his eyes completely as a wave of heat almost burned his skin 'I think, I overdo it a little bit.'

But he can help but smile to see his power, the trees that are known for their hardness and terrifying resistance from fire and cold could only be blown apart because of the massive blast that focuses in one place.

"Well, I guess I can reason out that the kid was shredded to pieces. The important thing is that he is dead." he turns back and plans to leave this place to go to the place where he needs to get the thing that the mission entails.

But he still put up his guard as he readied to detonate some of the dynamite that was buried around here and if he sees that the kid was hurt that he can't heal himself then could only kill him with his explosive marbles.

He wouldn't go near that demon kid as that kiddo can control a massive wood that can swat him to death.

Earlier explosions where the forest under Pate exploded, he used the dynamite that was buried for the preparation to sink this island to the sea but seeing that the kid has a mysterious power up he can only use some of it to end the matter quickly.

"Now I believe that the World Government dispatched you to get their things as they wouldn't entrust it to some weaklings!"

He didn't reply but looked as the smoke was blown by the wind and couldn't help but be serious as he saw an almost healed Pate that stood in the center of a massive crater.

Pate just stood and looked at the marine captain.

If he didn't absorb the blood and meat of the pirates and marines earlier he would die without leaving a piece of his body.

He was thankful that he could still envision as the dozens of marbles were shot at him even though he was in the center of the black smoke that could block his eyes.
