"Argghhhkk" Torres could only groan in pain as he feel a few unknown things drilled in his back and when he unconsciously looked back at Pate, he saw it was looking back at him this time.

He vomited blood and fell on his knees when a root out of nowhere coiled around his legs 'Is this my end?' he is unwilling to die here and could only watch himself envelope like a cocoon as he feels that every strength he has was sucked out of him.

"As for the four pirates who inflict so much pain to the villagers and the one who directs them to destroy this peaceful land. I'll let you six bear their sentiments." Pate murmured in himself as he felt every root and vine he currently controlled as his focus started to shift to the four pirates who massacred the escaping villagers.

The one who he wants to torture so much was killed mercilessly by Old Geezer and can only drag its body to the ground to be fertilizer.

And he expresses a gentle expression as he directs his view to the directions of the dozens of vines who carefully get the corpses of the innocent villagers and want to bury them in the middle of the forest, planning to give them a decent burial place.

In a minute he was in a trance as he mourned for the villagers 'What if he didn't transfer the Vitality Tree Runes to little Jaz then he wouldn't need to go to the forest where he was held for a long time.'

"If only I didn't experiment too much, I would have been able to save them." he murmured weakly as the tears kept gushing in his eyes.

Pate didn't notice a black dot far away that kept zooming in the air towards his location as a white cloak of it flips because of the wind as the justice written on it was shown in full view.

When the person got near the back of Pate he slowed down a little as his arm was pulled back with a glittering spark that coated in his fisted hand and punched it toward Pate "Spark blow!"

The spark blow exploded after the execution of it was successfully made a contact that resulted in a massive black smoke that spread around and the culprit calmly stepped in the air as both of his feet have a spark in it that helps him to prolong his stay in the air using moonwalk.

fixing his black circled frame of sunglasses, Captain Jiggs looked at the black smoke that nearly faded in a short amount of time as the wind blew it away "Did I finish him off? so easy, I hope his face is still recognizable."

"Did the marines fall this low?" A calm voice was heard that made Captain Jiggs frown in wonder as the voice didn't even groan in pain or flew in impact from the explosion.

Smoke faded in the side and Pate was presented in full view other than the shred of clothes and bruises in its arms and shoulder show that the attack did damage him a little.

But Captain Jiggs was focused on the large tree wood in the form of a shield covering Pate's back.

With a forceful pull, Pate ripped the clothes he had that his skinny upper body was revealed and in his chest, a grey tattoo of a tree was spotted by Captain Jiggs.

"What devil fruit do you eat, kid?" Captain Jiggs was intrigued by what devil fruit could exhibit this kind of power 'Is it wood wood devil fruit?'

"There is no harm in telling you, it's rule rule fruit." Pate said while he looked at the grey runes in his chest 'If the forest didn't drag me somewhere, I might have absorbed a decent amount of energy. Even a little would be helpful to heal Old Geezer then at least he would be able to preserve his life."

"Rule Rule Fruit?" The Captain frowned because he recollected that eating Rule Rule fruit wouldn't be able to display this kind of power.

He read some of the documents in the marines libraries as he tried to keeps tabs to all fruit that the marines encounter so far and if he was not wrong Rule Rule fruit should be able to enforce rules to others and be like a slave to the user.

But he didn't see anything of it to this kid who claimed to eat the Rule Rule Fruit "Are you messing with me?" He frown in annoyance as he feels that Pate is making a fool of him.

"Think whatever you think, it doesn't even matter. At the end of the day, all of you will die here." Pate calmly said, snapping from his thinking and he urged his newly rune power in his back.

"What an arrogant kid, I'll let you know that having that power doesn't mean you know how to utilize it!" But he was taken aback as he watched Pate who was enveloped in the green glow and the bruise and burn in his shoulder and arms healed at a visible rate.

The green trees, vines, and leaf tattoo on his back glowed and bathed Pate in green light vitality.

'I should end him in one blow then' He ate the spark spark fruit, a paramecia devil fruit. All over his body can make a spark and the thing or person he touches.

If you think it all over it was a weak fruit but it was a perfect fruit for him.

Because other than being a marine, his previous profession is bomber.

Performing moonwalk with his custom shoes that can create much more combustion of fire when he sparks it with fruit power.

A combination of his fruit power and moonwalk will result in a much faster moving technique in the air plus the fact that using his fruit power to spark a part of his body didn't exhaust him one bit.

Pate just calmly levitated in the air even if the captain marine just disappeared in front of him and the green light that enveloping him started to dim and fade. And in his back, the black tattoo in the center shone mildly and the eyes of the cat tattoo glowed with faint light.

Four silver grey marble are whistling in the air as it shot in four different directions of Pate so if he dodges one of them the other two will hit him.

Smiling while he step in the air, Captain Jiggs looked at the kid who still levitates in the air and he looked at the back of the kid where eight thin vines were injected - that is his goal, he think that the vines were connected to the mysterious power-up of the kid.

But Pate, like he didn't even know that there were four marbles shot at him, just stood stably and let the marble struck him dead.

The marble successfully enters the five miles distance around Pate and when it enters the three miles, Captain Jiggs plans to detonate the dry blood that he applies inside the marbles.

Spark blood

One of his abilities that could detonate with the will of Captain Jiggs to spark it, the marble that is full and condensed with black powder will explode to its intended target.

'Explode!' Seeing that the marbles entered the three meters he shouted in his mind and the four marbles simultaneously exploded creating too much dust and smoke.

The explosion is much more devastating than earlier; the trees under and around him were bent lower because of the impact.

Captain Jiggs watched from afar and smiled as he admired his creation.
