"Old Hag!" Lieutenant Merv angrily looked at the messed middle aged woman in front of him, the violet color in her skin covered almost half of her face but she still displayed a bloodied smiling face toward him.

"Dragging all of you here is kind of reassuring before I left this nasty world, ohh how I wished that I could live a little time to see little Jas grow. What a pity" the woman closed her tired eyes as she whispered her last wish that wouldn't be able to achieve.

"Urrgghh!" Lieutenant Merv tried to stand up but he was too weak and fell to the side and saw his limping hands a noticeable trace of violet color indicating he was poisoned by the smoke.

He felt how his consciousness started to blur and can only leave a last threat "C-captain will k-kill all of you-" before smiling like a madman before the luster in his eyes fades.

Pate is still panting while they run as they could but he stops immediately as he sees with his perception the sacrifice of Mother Riz but he failed to stabilize his momentum and stumbled in the grass "Ughh"

"What the heck are you doing!? come here I'll lift you, what a clumsy fellow." Old Geez suppressed the pain and tried to grab the kid but Pate just stand up on his own and looked at him with teary eyes.

"What!? a little stumble makes you cry like a baby!?"

"I know where they are, let's go old man!" Pate didn't say anything and just ran like there's nothing happen that left the old geezer feeling there was something amiss but didn't delve into it and just follow the kid.

The kid explains to him that he has this kind of power to know where they are like a radar in human form that is why he believes him and follows him in pain.

He thinks to have this merely ordinary devil fruit is a waste for the kid's future but didn't say anything as he didn't want to smash the kid's hope and dreams 'What a pity' as he think like that a hollow feeling of sorrow suddenly struck him but immediately ignore it and follow the little back of Pate.

The villagers speedily navigate the labyrinth like tunnel in the underground and successfully reach the river but they are devastated to see dozens of nasty pirates wandering around here and unfortunately spot them.

Little Jas looked at the panicked stricken villagers as the other tried to scatter around like sheep fleeing in every direction.

"Woahhh! jackpot!"

"Don't you ever kill the yound ones as I'll savor their screams and body ahahahah!"

All of the pirates laugh hard as they see many villagers appearing in front of them after they get rid of some weak marines earlier.

"Nooo!"

Slash~ a villager was hacked by a pirate who didn't even bat an eye while still laughing as it savored the taste of despair in his victim's eyes.

The children in the midst of chaotic villagers started to cries as they are too scared and some of them pee in their pants while some of their parents abandoned their kids to save their own lives.

A villager mother who was slashed at her back tried to hug her baby and tried to hide it's little body so the pirates wouldn't be able to see. As the baby almost cried who got stained by blood it looked at the smiling smile of the mother who tried to elevate the mood of the baby so it wouldn't cry.

She whispered weakly "Who's the cutest baby?" making it sounded playful as she can be that makes the baby smile naively not knowing how the situation turns out to be.

The pirate didn't waste another time to the woman and ran to the nearest villager he could kill as he knew that others might snatch his prey, that would be a pity.

Closing her eyes as she tried to maintain the sweetest smile she can show to her baby and she was thankful to the tragic scream of her closest friend, neighbor and some naughty kids as they covered the little laugh of her cutest baby.

And can only think of a last wish he can think of 'I wished that they wouldn't stop playing with them, am i a bad person for thinking like this?'

Little Jas cried not knowing what to do and ran in the cover of shrubs and docked on it trying to be as silent as she could.

"Where are you little kid!? why don't you come and show yourself!?" a pirate was dragging a kid by clutching hard to his hair. The kid was a playmate of Jas that threw a stone to the black cat earlier.

The pirate smiled devilishly as he slashed his saber and decapitated the right arm of the kid who screamed in pain and almost fainted but was woken up by a heavy smack at his cheek "Scream to the kid to show herself or I'll cut your other arm!"

The kid whose mouth was bleeding profusely and some of its teeth were scattered in the ground tried to beg "P-pleashh ccoomee outshh!" even though he was not that comprehensible to little Jas, she knew that she must do something to save her friend but she was too scared to even move.

"Hhhmmmm" Seeing a half a minute goes by without a sound the pirate see no reason to let the kid be alive as he slashed his saber again determined to decapitate the other arm and a shout reverted to his back "Stop, I'm here!" Little Jas showed herself but was terrorized by how the pirate didn't stop midway but cut the other arm of her friend.

"You're late, kid!" Seeing another little girl in front of him made the pirate's eyes shine with malice as he looked at the smoothe tender skin of the little kid in front.
