《The Runes Pirate of One Piece》Chapter 8 - Deceit

Eureko was looking amazed in front of him because of the weakened flame that almost a while ago was so vigorously engulfing the forest.
But now it looks like it was empty of gas and subsided almost in a second.
"What is happening? Hey you! did you pour gasoline or is it just piss of yours!", he yells angrily at the man who was scared and almost pissed himself.
"No! vice-captain, I check it twice before I took it in the storage, Two gallons of gasoline"
Eureko himself was sure that it was gasoline so he stepped into the forest and looked at a tree that was blackened by the flame.
He unsheathed his knife and slash it to the bark of the tree, and he found out that the inner side of the tree is still full of vitality and there is no sign of burn.
The outside is scorched by the flame but the inside is not affected by the high temperature of the blazing flame.
'What is this forest?' he exclaimed to himself and suddenly his eyes gleam with greed. 'This is a good material for the ship!'
"Vice-Captain!", a pirate crew emerges from the side of the forest.
"What!?" he impatiently asked
"We found the trace to the back of the island and we found the villagers escaping with a storage ship. It has a steering engine in the rudder and it has a chance to escape completely!"
"What!? Are you sur-", before he finishes a crew emerges on the other side.
Panting a heavy breath "Vice-Captain! we f-found out that the villagers escape immediately without carrying their livestock *breath" and heavy things to their house! there is a high chance that they are going to migrate to another island."

The pirate crew is sweating and he reaches out his hand, holding luxury clothes that are still wet from seawater "This is the luxury clothes of the kid that escaped from us, we presume that the kid is in their vice-captain."
He handed the clothes to me and examined them. 'Nicely done! good merit!'
"Job well done! go call all of the crew and we will report it to the captain. They can't escape our grasp, Go! make haste!", taking note of the uniqueness and sturdy forest in his mind.
"Yes!" The two pirate crew called their group and ran back to the pirate ship.
They didn't notice that the pirate crew, the one who was tired from running around, presented the luxury clothes to Eureko.
Jump down into a trench full of vigorous plants that you will not notice that there is a hiding place there.
"How is it?" sounded inside.
"The misdirection phase is -" Panting!~ "Successfully done, now it's all in Zito's hand"
"We did everything, will fate save us? ... What?"
"Don't act like you are Old Geezer"
"I just want to act cool... just ignore me"
Front Shore of the island • Pirate Ship •
Eureko boards the pirate ship and commands all of them to sail the ship and keep a tight chase to the escaping villagers, he proceeds to the captain's room.
"Captain! We found out that the villager escaped to the back of the island using a storage ship with a steering engine installed in the rudder.", he looked at the captain and reported his finding on the island and he put the luxurious clothes of Dan on the table of the captain.
"I found these clothes, I presume that the villagers save the kid, and the kid gains consciousness and tells all of the details. and the villagers decide to migrate to another island to escape from us pirates haha."

Eureko claimed all of the merits, well even if the crew found out, they wouldn't dare to point fingers, or he would cut their fingers.
He just doesn't know that the one who gave him the merits didn't mind either.
The Captain smiled hideously and laughed.
"Gragahagaha That's good, they must act like prey. But we must not let them escape, we must show them what a predator is" Captain tap the table, indicating it is in a good mood.
He stood up and walked in front of Eureko and patted its shoulder "You didn't let me down Eureko! let's go and watch how this prey will panic while sailing away from us!"
They strode to the front deck while the other crew was busying to keep on chasing the villagers.
"Captain!" simultaneously shouts of the crew members.
The one who was in the right back earlier of the captain strode to the right back of the captain again and looked at the fleeing storage ship.
"So this is the prey you are hunting, captain"
"Yes it is Dislab, grahaga" the captain answered easily.
Eureko looked at Dislab, and snorted while the others ignored him which fueled his irritation, thinking 'Wait a while. After this, I will present the forest to the captain! I'll enjoy your pitiful look after!'
Storage Ship
Zito looked at the back and found that the pirate ship was in hot pursuit of him, he nervously swallowed his saliva.
'Guide me! god of whatever you are.', he pulls the third rope to release a lump of meat that is soaked in blood to the sea, Old Geez keeps reminding him that if he is in the Fifth rope he must jump out to sea.
And let the storage ship steer itself, just make sure that the lever with a color of blue is pulled down, and it will sail straight ahead.
'Why I have to be the best to swim in the village, I hope I don't die. I want to marry a beautiful wife or maybe a good but not too ugly wife just to make sure, I'll keep my life at this moment.' he pulled the fourth rope.
As he attempts to pull down the blue lever.
Splashing of water pours in big waves to the right of the storage ship 'F*ck!'
He looked behind and found that the pirate ship was almost 20 miles away, 'What a good Accuracy! just little left, and this storage ship will blow to smithereens'
He pulled down the blue lever and released the fifth rope.
He ran to the left side of the ship, without a second thought, and jumped down.
'Ahh what are you planning, Old Geezer?' thinking as he plunged to the sea, while he was adjusting his sight to find his direction to dive through.
His eyes turned wide open because of shock and terror and he didn't notice his wide mouth open that kept letting out bubbles of air.

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
