《Zombie Book》Semi-optimal awakening

The sudden strong urge to quench my thirst snatched me from my sleep. If only I could stay in bed a little longer. Wait. A cold shiver ran down my spine: [I didn't even went to bed!] Jens Mueller I'm in a totally unfamiliar room My heart began to beat faster while my brain tried hard to analyze the situation. [Aliens, the work of God, time travel, reincarnation... focus now! How did i get here?] Jens Mueller I can rule out organ and human trafficking, this bed is too majestic for that. I'm also surprised that no one is waiting for me to wake up. Have I lost my memories? Wouldn't it be typical to wake up with a head wound in a hospital? None of this makes sense. [Maybe I switched bodies with someone else... Man! Now I'm back to fantasy] Jens Mueller I got up to analyze the situation. I am clearly myself, in a luxury suite with a floor covered with animals I have never seen in real life. There are pictures hanging on the wall that I'm sure they wouldn't hang there without insurance. There's a golf club kit next to a freakin' marble statue of a naked guy. The room was so high, another one would fit in. Literally. All of this beauty is underscored by the stinging smell of decay. It didn't take long to locate the source: Me.
My shirt was probably not originally brown. Especially interesting were the bullet holes, which were additionally painted as a pattern on my clothes. I must have been dead a long time before I came back. Even worse: There is no blood on the bed, I didn't die here, but I was brought here. It's time to look at all the possibilities: Impact of a higher unknown power I've some kind of biological mutation I'm high on some weird stuff I looked out the window. I didn't notice it until now, but there were no horns, no sirens, no traffic sounds. The vehicles that filled the streets merged with the pedestrians into a river. These ants run efficiently to a place of action, nobody strolled through the streets, nobody walked, everybody runs. Did the robots replace the humans? Are the aliens using human bodies as their hosts? It's really hard to explain how artificial any of this appears. It seems like everyone has lost their personality. You may think that can't be seen from a distance. But I can assure you that the way people cross the street carelessly without being run over, is enough to make you realize that something is very wrong here. Maybe this world isn't real at all. It's just a simulation of my world Maybe some kind of state-of-the-art video game? Not only does this idea give me a lot of peace of mind, it makes sense in some crazy way. If there really was the technology to fully immerse myself in a game, it would explain my scenario. Just now I realize that I'm not panicking at all. I am surprisingly cool. Maybe it's the fact that everything seems so far away from reality that I don't even realize my situation. It really seems to be a video game after all.

Somebody Stop Her
In a world of villains and heroes, the Kilborne family moved to the small town of Saint Mary. Their new neighbors, living in the 1888 Saint Mary cathedral, turned out to be a family of supervillains. Martin Kilborne would find school perfectly mundane if it wasn't for Alexa Terranova who is: constantly bothering him with a pocket raygun, demanding he become her minion and threatening to blow up the principal's office in a series of unnecessarily complicated, wacky plots. The more Martin learns about Alexa, the more dangerous and insane his life becomes as he is dragged into terrible, misfortunate, no good adventures of doom. A wholesome, slice of life, superhero / supervillain sci-fi comedy, sprinkled with elements of horror.Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge - 55'555 words in 35 days!Dedicated to my daugher who has an unbendable stubborn spirit and my friends at the Silver Pen server who motivated me to write new things!

8 149Your Mundane Transmigration Into Another World
My second fiction here, it might be similar to the first, but I will focus on improving consistency as it was not very good. The idea is to make a completely ordinary isekai story, but make it right - no cliche, some originality etc. I do not yet know where it will go, but it will involve dungeons at some point, transmigraiton, demons, elves, humans, undead. I will strive for regular updates every friday, but my writing speed is that of a slime (not a native speaker), so I might not deliver every week. Feel free to write what you think, I welcome feedback. HIATUS - will continue after I am done with my other book, I am unable to write two at the same time.
8 178Final Hour
Had you the chance, would you change yourself? The story tells of a boy, name withheld, who came into the world with what seemed like an invisible curse. Through this darkness, he found an escape - Empire. It was the first VRMMO, and his doctors convinced him to try it. This is the tale of a boy who was willing to throw everything that was left away. A victim of the world, a great adventurer, or... something beyond even that?*Warning: This fiction contains BORDERLINE mature themes. Okay, maybe VERY mature themes. But only SOMETIMES.**Note: Don't give me 5 star ratings. I doubt you'd want to anyway, but ratings without any criticism don't help me improve, and thus destroy the purpose for which I write.
