Hi guys! As I prepare to write more of the second book (not very far in, only 20 or so chapters at the moment), I'm curious for feedback on the first. To that end, I have a series of questions I'd like to ask my readers to get an idea of where I could take the story.
What was your favorite part and why?

A Friendly Voidling
When a Creature of the Void fails to find friendship among her own kind, she instead sets her sights upon another, human-filled world. Unfortunately, humans turn out to be rather small and squishy things, resulting in a mostly accidental trail of death, destruction and madness as she embarks on her journey to finally make some friends. This is a 25k word inane short story, and makes no attempt at being serious or realistic. It's my first attempt at trying a more comedic writing style. No relation to my other stories, aside from a brief cameo. Cover bodged together with Charat Genesis. Not quite the design I had in mind, but reasonably close. Doesn't contain explicit smut, but does contain references to stuff happening off-screen. May contain traces of gore. Also eels, in varying states of distress. Posted here and scribblehub.

This story is eventually intended for publishing via Amazon, however, you have my word it will be left up for at least five weeks from the time it is completed (at which point I might be posting the second installment on here), so you don't need to worry about it disappearing overnight. Also, bear in mind that this is all a first draft before any significant edits. There will likely be spelling, grammar and continuity errors, I will address them as soon as I spot them or you point them out. I read every comment (and reply, time permitting). Please feel free to criticize (I suspect I have a somewhat longwinded writing style, shouting really does help :) ), and above all enjoy.

Their attempts at obtaining this item lead them deep into the fog which permeates much of the world, blanketing it in a cool, silent darkness within which hides deadly monsters. With Kal's planning and Nyz's strength and combat abliity, there is no obstacle they cannot overcome, and they are willing to do whatever it takes to obtain the item, no matter the challenge, no matter what or who gets in their way.
