《Pokemon: Ultimate Generations!》Spatial Crack!

At this time, in a place located in Florida live a boy name Gan, who was currently 16 years old. School was out and all he did was play video games; mainly his Sword Version. Gan was watching one piece as of now, it was Luffy vs Kaido.
"Damn, Luffy was doing good at first, but he got schooled the minute Kaido went on the offensive!" Gan laughed and exited the window on his computer.
Afterward, he did a few exercises, like sit-ups and push-ups. Gan did this daily so he was quite muscular after 2 years of dedication. Once Gan was done with his exercises, he went to take a shower.
"Dang, I still need to defeat the champion Leon in Sword." He had yet to beat the Champ of the game. However, he had already beaten the game, but he decided to reset his game after dumping all of his pokemon into Pokemon Home.
This time his starter was Scorbunny, but his favorite was Grookey, which was the first one he picked when he got the game. After his shower, he was called down for dinner by his mom.
His dad asked him if he wanted to participate in any sport's programs, but Gan declined. His dad could see that he had been working out, so he thought his son would be interested. He didn't talk about it anymore, maybe he'll come around later.
As they were eating, everyone talked about their day. This was mainly so for his mom, who was having trouble with a co-worker. This person was always trying to make things difficult for her because his mom's position within the company had gone up so suddenly.
Gan knew this would make sense, who wouldn't be upset if you yourself were working there for 10 years, but a new recruit instantly got a higher position and pay than you once he was hired in. His mom only laughed about it; she actually took delight in seeing them cry and complain about it.
Gan talked about getting a job himself, he was 16 going on 17 at this point.
"Oh, where would you like to work? Choose a good job, like working at Apple or something." His dad quickly suggested.
"Hun, he can't work at a place like that until he turns 18 and has graduated high school." His mom chimed in and said.
"That's a little unfair, then where will he work, it better not be something like McDonald's." His dad's expression suddenly showed a look of disgust.
"Hey. hey, don't look down on those Mcdonald's workers, we need them to keep places like that up and running." Gan was a bit surprised to see that his dad looked down on those types of people.
"The food's not good for you, so it would be best for them to shut down altogether." His dad nodded and said.
Gan shook his head, his dad was simply dreaming, and it was a big one at that. Mcdonalds was well known throughout the whole world; they were never shutting down, ever! It was literally a company backed by billions of dollars!

"Don't worry, I won't work at a McDonald's, I'll find somewhere else to work. I'm thinking of just working at a PetSmart or something." Gan continued to eat the last of his food before standing up.
"Nice, Petco was the first store I worked at when I was your age, it's a good place to start but Petsmart is also good." His mom nodded and agreed with Gan's decision.
"Yeah, yeah, sure. We'll see when and if it happens." Gan cleaned off his dish and sat it in the sink before tell his parents he'd see them later.
Once he returned to his room, he took his Nintendo Switch off its charger and began to play his Sword Version.
"Better head to the coliseum to beat and rematch the Gym leaders, then defeat the champion, hehe!" Time passed, he eventually defeated all of the Gym Leaders in the tournament with the last one being Raihan.
Now, it was time to truly fight Leon. President Rose wasn't an obstacle anymore, as he was defeated already. Gan quickly mowed through his team after Dragon Dancing twice with his Haxorus. To defeated him in style, he switched to his starter, Cinderace.
After G-maxing both their pokemon, Leon was ultimately defeated.
"Well, that ends that." Gan shrugged, but suddenly an earthquake started to shake the street he was on, and of course, his house as well.
"Shit!" Gan was stunned and held onto his bed's board as to not lose control and get tossed around.
After 3 minutes, the earthquake stopped as if it had never happened. Gan got up and ran to his mom and dad's room to see them coming out as well.
"Are you alright? That was a big one!" His mom hurriedly and asked.
"I'm okay, I'm sure we're not the only ones that felt that." Gan said strangely.
"Good, this earthquake was big, we need to move to Canada or Michigan or something where earthquakes don't occur." Gan's dad sighed.
Afterward, they went downstairs and walked outside to have a look. There were several people coming out of their houses and talking to one another about what just happened.
His parents struck a conversation with the neighbors before going back into the house. They had to fix a couple of things that fell and broke during the earthquake. Gan had the same problem, fortunately, his Nintendo Switch and Television were still intact.
"Yo, clothes are everywhere, I'm really sick of these damn earthquakes!" Nothing really broke but his clothes were everywhere, spread across the floor. He had no choice but to hang them back up in his closet before going to sleep.
Gan fell asleep immediately once he dove on his bed. Time went by and 5 hours had already passed since the earthquake, it was technically in the middle of the night going on the next morning. Gan woke because he was thirsty and had to take a Leak
A bathroom was on this floor, so he didn't need to go to the one downstairs. His parent had a bathroom in their room, so they always used that one. After washing his hand, he went downstairs to grab a fresh bottle of water from the fridge.

"Phew, that's so refreshing after waking up with a dry mouth." Gan stretched and walked out of the kitchen, but he suddenly saw a purple light coming from his basement door.
"Did someone break into our house?" Gan was stunned before he went to the kitchen to grab a knife. Any normal person would have gone to tell their parents, but for some reason, this never occurred to him.
"Whose down there, you better surrender now while still have the chance! I will stab you!" After cutting on the lights to the basement, he spoke towards the basement. Of course, there was no reply, so he went down the stairs cautiously.
Once he was downstairs, he saw what appeared to be a crack in space.
"What the... Ah~!" Gan couldn't finish his sentence when the Spatial Crack gave off a suction force, pulling him into it.
Moments later, Gan woke up and looked around. The knife was no longer in his hand, but the place he was in was all white like the Dead Zone or something.
"Where the heck is this?" Gan looked around confusingly, he was feeling panicked inside.
"Welcome, this is the Beyond Realm, good to see you, Gan." A voice revibrated through his ears, which caused him to jump.
"Who is it, send me back. Why am I here?" Gan quickly spoke what he was thinking instinctively.
"Relax, this is your chance to go to another world for adventure and fun, wouldn't you like that?" The man said with laughter.
"Another world? Do other worlds exist?" Gan looked around but the person speaking never revealed himself.
"They do." The voice said bluntly.
"Really. Sorry, but I can't just leave my parents behind for some other world." Gan shook his head and declined. That Spatial crack was the real deal, it must have some dealings with some higher entity, so he truly believed the voice's words.
"I have the power to warp reality, I can stop the flow of time in your world. I can send you to another world, but if you die there, you'll be sent back here as if nothing had ever changed." The voice laughed and explained thoroughly.
"This...." Gan was speechless.
"Why me, this doesn't make any sense." Gan asked curiously.
"There are many reasons why you were chosen, but none of that really matters, it's up to you now to decide." The voice said calmly.
"So once I died I'll be returned to my original world?" Was that the only way to get back; to die?
"You can go back now if you want, but once you do, the Spatial Crack will disappear and I'll give this opportunity to some other fortunate person. What I meant was, you'll be living another life in that world, but once you're old and die, you'll come back here as if nothing had happened."
The voice was pretty much saying that time would stop here and he would return to the moment he entered the basement.
Gan thought for a moment and agreed.
"Good!"
"Okay, I want to go to the World of One Piece. Give me the Rumble Rumble Fruit as a Devil Fruit power. I also want to have the ability to eat 2 more types of Devil Fruits before reaching my limit." Gan said with a smile.
"Also, if I can get 3 wishes, then I want to change what I said just now." Gan quickly added.
"Hahahaha! Sorry, bud, you don't get 3 wishes or any wishes for that matter. In fact, the world for you has already been chosen."
"No wishes and I don't get to decide what world I goto!?" Gan's expression turned ugly, what kinda hoax was this?
"Don't be too disappointed. The world that was chosen for you is Pokemon. I'll give you a system, but not an Administration system, sorry." If Gan could see this person, he would surely be shrugging right now.
Gan had read many novels, so he knew the difference between a System and a System Administration. A System Administration would give the person a System store where they could buy things off of with System Points.
However, a System was different. He could only check his status and maybe another person or thing's status. It would sometimes give him a few missions to complete and hand out some rewards, but that was it.
Gan didn't complain since it was good enough to have a little cheat than nothing. Anyone would want the aid of a system when going into a dangerous world. They would obviously like to have the advantage over the natives of that world.
"Good, I like that attitude of yours." The voice said happily.
"I'd like to go into the world as is, no starting out as a child. I would also like to change my features up a bit; if that's okay?" Gan said with hope.
"Sure thing, I got you. This item will be in your starter box, just edit your features with that thing. You can only use it once, so make it good."
"Wait!" Just before he could be sent away, Gan called out. "You said the Pokemon world, right? This question might sound weird, but how would you evolve the pokemon that requires trading?"
"Hmm, there will be a few changes to the pokemon world you goto, but not too dramatic. As for the answer to your question, it would require leveling it up with love, like that Zubat pokemon." The voice answered slowly.
"Sigh, okay, but once this world is over, can I possibly start a life in another world of my choosing?" Gan asked hurriedly.
"Hahaha, sure, I'll do it for you. You must want to go to the one-piece world, right?" The voice laughed and asked.
"For Sure!" Gan felt better hearing this.
"Alright, but after this world, so off you go!"
Suddenly, the void twisted near Gan, and everything went black, he himself blacked out.

Magriculture (Rewrite)
When Aurum Industries announced the first Full Immersion Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (FIVRMMORPG if you're hip) Limitless Online, most people saw it as an opportunity to live out their sword and sorcery fantasies. John, however, saw it as the opening of a new and as of yet uncrowded job market. One he was willing, and eager, to exploit. Determined to make money through virtual hard work and effort, John sets his sights not on the heights of magic or the perfection of the sword, but instead upon the tilling of the soil and the sowing of seeds as he explores the wide and wonderful world of magical agriculture all from the comfort of his own bed. Disclaimer: This is a rewrite of the original "Magriculture", which some of you may have read. (To those who did, you have my deepest gratitude, it is absolutely because of your patronage and comments that this rewrite happened, and I feel the story is better for it.) That said, this story is not a complete and polished work, there will be mistakes and errors, an occasionally these errors may mean I need to rewrite portions of the story (as of this posting the story has gone through two major rewrites already, and I'm seriously hoping there won't be need of a third.) Because of this, there may at times be changes. Such changes may be as small as editing a few numbers (such as going back and changing how much mana an object holds) or it may force me to re-write entire chapters (this has happened once already, and I'm really hoping it doesn't happen again, but... life). Minor re-writes will probably never be posted here. Major rewrites probably will. Anyway, what this boils down to is: If you're looking for a fully cohesive story with few to no errors and publisher level editing, this is not the story for you. If you're looking for a cohesive plot that's more than "Man farms, man farms, man farms well, man maybe makes money" you're probably also in the wrong place, but I will attempt to entertain you anyway.

NOVA INTERIT.US
It's 2063, and the town along with much of the nation are in disarray. The decay started years before the Great Event. Our town still had hope thanks to the five families, who'd created a blockchain based water distribution system for the locals, a valuable secret hidden from the Global Water Commission and their network of mercenaries. Earlier in the mid-2040's, right after the state secessions of Idaho, Montana, and Texas, the Global Council of Water Commissioners made their deals and moved into towns throughout the country. They called it "the integration." The Commission and their contractors integrated with municipal water departments, using their organized network to invade like parasites on local services. It all coincided with the 29th Amendment to the United States Constitution, later referred to as the Regional Trident Plan. Nova is a story about survival, power structures, the turning of relationships, and the networking between people and the systems to which they belong. It’s about A.I. blockchain possibility, and its potential for human betterment versus our detriment. It’s about the question of whether or not we need to be saved from ourselves, and by who or what? The Great Event at the end of the first chapter might just be what actually saves us. The epilogue will take place in 2517. This scene is fully sketched and the full arc of the novel is set. I expect to finish Nova Interitus by summer of 2023. This is realist hard-sci-fi dystopian fiction. I hope you find Nova to be a challenging and consuming story. This is not something I planned to write. It all came to me in a dream and I haven't been able to stop writing it. This Royal Road posting is basically a beta test with chapters and drafts to get some feedback and see if there's any readership for this narrative. For the full experience read Nova on Substack. I will be narrating a podcast version later this year there. https://novainteritus.substack.com/
