Ha ha you have so many questions. I tell you what why don't I ask you a question. What *do* you know about yourself. Milly took a small clear bottle of pail yellow liquid out of the box.

She poured some into a cup and held the bottle up to her eyes, looked closely and the added a few drops more. There were little markings on the bottle. It seemed she was matching the level of liquid inside the bottle to one of the marks. She poured some water from the pitcher into the cup as well and swirled it

around and around, mixing it, before filling the rest of the way.

While she was doing that she said. Bully birds have a powerful and complicated toxin. The toxin will make you feel angry all the time, at every thing. The only things you won't attack are an exact shade of brilliant purple like the Bully.

That and you will smell like musty cinnamon an attractive smell for the birds who will follow you around every where pricking you with their spurs when you start to recover.

so you end up a mindless guard dog who can barely remember to eat. So ... medicine? Milly handed Ben the cup.

Oh... yes definitely thank you.

I know my name is Ben. I woke up in a room in a cave behind some vines. I think you said it was a week ago? How long is a week? OH! I know I like bread! Do you know what bread is?

its soft and smooshie and crunches on the outside. Do you have any bread? I think I might be hungry after all.

Milly looked at Ben with a half smile. Do I know what bread is?

She asked incredulously. Yes I think I know that one, and I may very well get some for you. What kinda bread, do you know? I have some good Dwarven brown bobo and I have a little bit of Elvin sweet clouds left. Did you want some butter or crunt oil?

Oh I don't know any of those. Can I try some of all that?

Sure while you are having some breakfast I can ask you some more questions. I need to go and get the food and you need to drink that, she said pointing to the cup in Bens hands. I won't be long, its not so far to the kitchen from here. She collected the small box, tucked it under her arm and was through the doorway.

Ben drank the medicine. It was really sour and somehow dry. He didn't mind it so much but it was definitely something to tolerate and not good.

The room he was in was square and about four times longer than himself on a side. The floor seemed to be made of sticks twigs and branches pact tightly on end cut and polished to the same height. There are shelves made of more of those 'woven?' white strips. Ben wasn't sure but yeah he thought the word was woven. There were more of the soft heavy covering similar to the one on himself, on the shelves. Smaller fluffy looking cloths and some pale ivory coloured sheets. The walls some kind of red brown thick flat squares stacked up on top of each other.

The bed Ben was on seemed to be dry grass wrapped in thick heavy cloth supported on strings wrapped around a frame made from the ivory tubes.
