《Broken Emperor》Chapter 45

The palace hall grew silent.
Amina was panting heavily as she made her raging scythe dissapear.
She was falling to the ground, when Diana held on to her.
Amina chuckled, "I did it."
"You went beyond it, reaching the realm of gods," spoke Diana with a smile.
Amina laughed, "I am too far."
"Let's get stronger then."
Amina looked at Diana for a moment and smiled. "Yeah."
They both turned to look at Cayn smiling.
But he was expressionless, walking towards them coldly.
Both of them froze at his pressure. They both looked down to the ground till he stood in front of them.
They unconsciously closed and clenched their eyes.
Suddenly a hand pressed on their heads.
"You have done well." A gentle, deep and calming found chanted in their ears as they felt him patting them.
They felt like a light breeze running throught their bodies.
Their eyes widened. Their strenght came back.
They stood straight, and met his eyes.
He was smiling warmly, it was heartfelt.
Amina bowed her head down a bit, "I, am sorry, I made you go through so much."
"It was fun, watching my beautiful mother kick someone," he spoke with a smile. "And you dear," he turned his eyes slowly to look at Diana, "were amazing. Like the first day I met you, I couldn't take my eyes off you." He patted her again.
Diana didn't know why but she couldn't utter a word. Something was wrong, she thought, really wrong. This is Cayn. This isn't like him. She didn't dare raise her eyes.
His mother shuckled, but before she raised her eyes Cayn turned his back and walked away.
Amina turned to see Julien and the others. Diana was left, looking at Cayn's back. She followed quietly.
---
She suddenly found herself outside the palace, finding Shiro, cleaning his blood and sweat from his and body.
A man and a woman behind him with their heads down, and Rin in the back, looking stupified with his scared wolf.
On the ground behind them she saw a bit hole that could cover the entire palace, with a figure of a person, with broken bones and cut limbs and horns.
She didn't need to ask.
"The body double of the demon god of gluttony, Beelzebub," spoke Shiro as he kneeled down not minding his injuries. The others followed suit.
Cayn patted his shoulder. He was healed.
Cayn didn't speak a word the whole time and left directly. Diana followed.

Walking into a deep forest, Cayn stopped.
"Think you should stay here," he spoke without turning.
Diana looked at his back for a while. "Why? So I don't see you unleashing your anger?"
"I don't want you to see what I am about to do," his voice grew colder.
"I know what you are capable of doing," she answered with her gentle voice.
She was mad, but for some reason she couldn't even raise her voice nor have an attitude. She could only speak softly. There was other emotions, sleeping within her heart and body.
She slowly walked towards him.
"Diana," he took a breath, "I don't want you, to see me, like this." His voice became coarce, harsh, yet calm.
"Why?" She asked again.
"Diana," his voice was breathless.
She stood behind him. "So I don't see your rage? Your madness? What is it you don't want me to see Cayn!"
She walked by his side. Her eyes widened.
Cayn's neck was full of veins, pulsating. All the way to his clenched jaw, to his forehead. the veins felt alive. Her eyes fell on his. They were looking ahead, a piercing gaze. His pupils gave the impression of breathing.
Diana, shivered in fright. This was, the Cayn of the visions. The emperor, of slaughter.
She is not protected by the visions anymore. This, was the real thing.
For some reason she couldn't feel any prescence. But the sheer sight of him startled her.
She gritted her teeth and stood in front of him. He was still, controlling himself, in front of her.
She slapped him. "What are you waiting for."
He didn't say a word.
She slapped him again. "I said. WHAT IN THE FUCK, ARE YOU WAITING FOR!"
Again, "YOU ARE THAT PATIENT! YOU WAITED FOR A FIVE WHOLE YEARS! YOU!"
Another slap, "FOR YOUR MOTHER'S REVENGE? PATIENT, AREN'T YOU! FOR SOMEONE WHOSE MOTHER WAS ALMOST RAP-"
As she was about to slap him again he held her hand.
His eyes finally met hers.
The world around her dissappeared.
His dragon eyes shinned. Behind them stood the giant black dragon.
Diana, was less than a pest in front of that celestial creature.
The dragon roared.
Diana's hair and clothes danced wildly to his breath.
She screamed, "THAT'S THE EMPEROR I KNOW!"
She started laughing happily. "YES! YES! THAT'S IT!" She screamed as the dragon's roars and Cayn's shinning eyes intensified.
Her expression grew evil as she held Cayn by the collar bitting her lips, then jumped to force her tongue down his mouth.

Cayn's dark dragon kept roaring.
Diana bit his tongue, blood on her lips as she pulled back.
She cleaned it with her hand, looking at him coldly. She then smiled, like a villainess as she met his eyes.
His bloodthursty eyes and the dragon behind stared at her, hungry, as if they were drooling.
Cayn, smiled. A mad man. He walked towards her. His hand tightly grabbed her waist to pull her. He kissed her roughly. Liking the blood stains that weren't cleaned.
He looked at her with his maniacal grin.
"Shall we."
He spoke.
Diana's body shivered, not in fright, but excitement. As if her knees became weak, she felt what was between her legs pulsating to his words and murderous smile. Her shoulders trembeled. Her body, was quivering. She smiled evily as she swallowed her saliva, nodding to his words with her eyes that looked at him from below.
He looked between her legs, slowly raising his eyes taking his time enjoying each part of her body.
She kept following his eyes staring at her so intensly.
They finally fell on her. He inclined his head to whisper in her ear. Whatever he said Diana's eyes widened.
His hand held her waist tightly as they looked at each other.
A dark energy surrounded them.
---
"THAT FUCKING BITCH! YOU WILL SEE! I SHALL MURDER ALL OF YOU!" Screamed Mammon.
His body was much bigger than the one in the palace. If compared the double's height would only reach his knees. He was huge, filled with accessories and gewels. He was throwing and destroying stuff around his castle, while the other demons around him were following bowing their heads without saying a word.
They were all walking to the hall.
"Did you call for all the kings and queens?" He turned to his counselors.
"Y-yes my lord."
He broke the wall next to them with a punch. "FUCKING BITCH!"
He continued walking followed by the others.
He stormed into the hall breaking it's door.
But the room was dark and quiet.
He coldly stared at the room. His hand suddenly grabbed the demon next to him like a toy.
"Hey, are you fucking with me right now?"
"N-no-no my l-lord, I-I-"
Before he continued Mammon's noise picked up something, he turned to look around the room once again.
With a little bit of light from the hallway, he saw traces of blood on the floor.
Mammon became calm, taking his time as he walked inside.
As soon as the tip of his foot passed the line of the door, the world around him changed.
Like an ant, he felt, as he raised his eyes to find the bright eyes of a figure standing beside what should be his throne. No, it wasn't his throne anymore, this was another world.
Two pairs of light suddenly opened, those were of a figure sitting on the throne, laying its chin on its knuckles, staring at him.
As soon as Mammon met those eyes he slowly descended on his knees, putting his hands in front of him, then his head to the ground without saying a word.
he raised his head slowly.
The figure sitting on the throne, tapped with its finger on the arm of the throne.
Mammon smiled.
A slow wave of air passed him, first taking out his skin apart.
Then followed his flesh.
Finally leaving nothing but a pile of bones, sitting on its knees.
Suddenly darkness wrapped around it, then, like it caught something in the air.
Sounds of screaming resounded in the hall.
The thing caught slowly took shape under the chains of darkness.
Like a spiritual body of Mammon, who seemed like it was took by surprise screamed trying to get away.
The figure in the throne smiled evily. Its beastial teeth shinned with its eyes while the figure still remained dark.
Suddenly a man appeared next to Mammon's soul, bowing his head to the figure in the throne.
Mammon's soul seemed to recognize him. It screamed louder as if it was beggind for it's attention.
The figure in the throne tapped his finger again.
The man stood up and looked at Mammon before leaving. "I have no obligation to send you to your afterlife anymore. You, are his now."
Mammon's soul shook terribly. Then turned to look at the grinning figure at the throne.
The man dissapeared.
Mammon turned to see, a slash in the dimension tear up slowly next to him.
Loud screams of agony, pain, terror and despair crying from the crack.
It sucked Mammon's soul as it shrieked for help.
The world, grew quiet.
The figure sitting on the throne tapped again.
A huge wave roared.
The entire territory of the so called god Mammon including it's kingdoms, was buried in a matter of seconds.
The throne hall, stood unwavering, surrounded by ruins and an endless desert.

Legends of Balarel - A Leisurely LitRPG
Glenn Redwood has longed to become an Adventurer since he was a young boy, and has focused every waking moment on that goal since turning 14. Answering the challenge of the Gods of Balarel, he has fought Monsters, Leveled, and grown stronger. Yet the day before his 16th birthday, the day he will earn his dream or lose it forever ... the Gods have made a wager. And no mere mortal wishes to draw the attention of the Gods. ***** This is my crack at writing a leisurely LitRPG. My focus is more on telling interesting stories set in a world where people live under a MMORPG-like ruleset enforced by the Gods, and less on writing another story where the MC gets massive stat boosts every chapter before heading off to wreck the world. There will be plenty of blue tables (it’s LitRPG!) but my Adventurers are just starting out. This fic is about the journey, not the destination, so expect everyone to Level ... leisurely. Updates: M-T-W-Th. I’ll post 3000-4000 words a day, or 12000-15000 words a week. If this posting pace ends up being too much for me, I reserve the right to slow posts down a bit. Inspirations: Blessed Time (Royal Road) Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon? (Anime) Trails in the Sky (JRPG Series) MC: My MC is a genuinely good person who’s both a talented warrior and tactically savvy. He prefers to solve problems without violence but will resort to force if necessary to protect his friends or innocent people. I’m tired of stories starring anti-hero MCs facing endless doom and gloom, so I wanted to write a nice guy with an adventurous spirit who helps people in a thriving fantasy world. That’s all.

Rage: Crisis / Consequence / ???
Its been ten years since Seth was given his powers, ten years since his town was driven mad by that very same power, and ten years since its source was shunted into his head. A species of energy beings, a people filled with regret for what their entrance onto this world caused. Regret for the deaths that town perpetuated, the devastation they brought, the blow they served to the once proud heroes of this world. Heroes Seth now hopes to join, hopes to heal and atone to for what transpired. But their wounds run deep, their ire sharp, and their acceptance thin. And to top it all off... Seth's power is run far deeper than he knows, and sees his world in a light all its own. This series is my first foray into authoring, with two parts out of at best four if the readership stands. But part three will still book end nicely otherwise. And I'm not stopping till then. It is action heavy with varied and ramping up fight scenes through out. (Book 1 is heavy / Book 2 a little lighter) It is bloody in places, mildly gory in others, and heavily gory in simulated places. Nothing truly horrifying, I think, but be warned. It has trauma. PTSD is a major part of the story, but I will never trust that I got it completely right, so your mileage may vary on how believable or impactful it is. Lastly it has language. Swearing ebbs and flows as the story progresses and attitudes harden or soften. Sometimes bleeding through into the narration... somehow.
