《Broken Emperor》Chapter 42

The city was loud tonight.
Firecrackers brightened the dark sky.
The ball started. The kings, queens, princes and princesses, dukes, all kinds of nobles and influencel people made their way to tonight's hall.
While Diana was enjoying herself by Ella's side.
Sakura was spending time with her siblings and Haru.
Rin and the other princes were having conversations with the dukes and some other. While Jackal and his brother stood behind their father.
Arne himself was sneakly gazing at Amina, grining.
The other kings and queens paid their respects to Amina, which made the crown confused but no one could say a word.
But Salman knew, that is was only because of Cayn.
Demonstrating his strenght back then that was even supperior to a god. It wouldn't be a surprise if some praised him for being one.
But now there is Amina, his mother which he clearly care for. That was a free ticket to win his goodwill. Amina was once again the talk of the ball. With her beauty alone it wasn't a surprise.
And so Amina didn't have a boring night like last time.
Cayn was again standing behind her. No one could approach him either.
Cayn suddenly spoke in his mother's ears. Then went ahead and walked the hall to leave.
He met Diana's eyes. The gaze, was enough. She nodded and spoke in Ella's ear, who went to speak with Rin and the others.
Cayn walked out without saying a word.
And the lively ball continued normally, while the gazes of Amina were cold. As if she was trying her best to contain her anger.
King Arne started smiling all of a sudden.
He walked towards King Salman who was speaking with Amina.
"If you don't mind me joining," he said.
The two halted their laughter and looked at him coldly, not answering him.
"I understand this commoner being mad at me but, Did I do anything that upset you King Salman?" He asked with a smile.

"If you are gonna drop formalities and be this direct, I shall do the same. I don't like you," answered him Salman.
King Arne laughed, "I dropped formalities but you don't seem to have learnt them to begin with."
King Salman clenched his teeth.
And before he could say anything back. Arne continued, "I mean a Barbarian king and a slutty dancer commoner. Maybe you two fit each other." He said with a genuine smile as if he was doing them a favor.
Salman was enraged. But he heard cracking noises.
He turned to see, Amina's delicate hands and fingers crushing the metal arms on her chair.
A vein in her head about to explode, clenching her teeth furioulsy.
But she didn't say a word.
His eyes widened for a moment. And so he didn't either, forcing himself to cool down.
The King Arne looking at his cold expressions, got pissed off as he didn't get provoked.
"Oy," he grinned evilly. "Would you like to know the truth," he got closer and spoke quietly, "of your wife's death?"
Salman's body trembeled.
"One detail I found out," continued Arne, "She was screaming your name for help when they were raping her."
Salman's eyes darkened.
"Another detail? I threw her to my knights after I had enough of her."
He smiled and turned to Amina. "And I will o the same, to you," he whispered.
As soon as he was about to laugh a hand suddenly took a grip of his head and slammed him to the ground.
Salman's eyes widened. No, the entire crowd's reaction was the same.
Because the one who just brought down Arne, was none other than Amina.
King Arne stood up in a lighting speed.
He angerly screaming as a huge blue aura axe appeared in his hand, slicing down towards Amina's head.
Everyone was so stupified with the situation they couldn't react.
Amina breathed heavy steam. Raised her hand. Their muscles teared up a bit of her dress.

Clutching her hand, holding into a sharp white and pinkish aura, taking the shape of a double edged sword thinner compared to normal.
Before he knew it his axe was destroyed and he was holding into nothingness.
Before king Arne's eyes could widen in surprise. Her red knucles were already in his jaw.
And he was on the ground once again.
And before everyone knew Amina stepped on Arne's face with her sword to his neck.
Beautiful flowers rained down where she stood. Plum blossom for those who recognized them.
She looked beautiful. No pen, no lips, nothing could describe the scene of the goddess that stood before them.
Suddenly the queen of Sylvia tried to jump chanting her spells, only to be punched in the guts by Salman.
Jackal and Elric raged. Showing their auras.
Diana and Rin stood in front of them.
The hall grew quiet, as they looked at each other without making a move.
A loud laughter broke the silence.
It was coming from Arne.
Amina jumped back holding her sword in her hand tightly.
Arne slowly started flying.
Black and red energy started flowing throught him.
"My lord had a change of mind last minute. Killing all of you here when you are gathered would be better," he sspoke smiling.
The crowd falled back. "D-Demonic energy!" Screamed one of them.
Before the panic could run throught the people the kings and queens, followed by the heirs and some dukes and duchesses jumped in front reassuring them.
Their knights stood behind them.
"Watch your sides. He is cunning. He wouldn't cause such a scene if he didn't have a hidden card." Screamed Fujiii.
A huge explosion came from the side of Arne's destroying the wall of the palace.
Elric and Jackal joined his side, with Elric showing his demonic energy.
He suddenly turned to his older brother. "What are you waiting for?"
Jackal looked unwilling. But he suddenly said with a serious face, "I still have something to do, cover me."
Elric nodded believing his borther's words and stood in front of him.
Jackal grinned and tried to walk away throught the broken wall.
No one else minded him other than Rin, following him after switching places with Sakura.
King Arne kept laughing like a mad man. "let's end this early before your royal army storm in here," he said.
"I would say no less," spoke Salman as he walked in front raging.
A hand was placed on his shoulder.
Amina stared at him furiously. "Wait, something is wrong."
Arne laughed harder. "Now you notice!"
The knights behind him suddenly grew horns.
Demon general, power level as strong as a 7th rank master or arcmage. They were too many of them.
Those who stood upfront ate somehting that looked like a red heart on their hands.
The whole palace shook.
Everyone stepped back.
They roze to the 9th rank. Blood flood down their mouths as their energies roared.
"A suicidal move but it would be enough for all of you!" Screamed one of the demons.
Twenty people that were as strong as a human king.
"Oh wait, I seem to have forgotten something," said Arne as he flew in the air.
His aura raged, reaching the 10thrank. He started chanting with demonic tongue.
The smaller demon knights suddenly all jumped to him.
Sacrifying themselves in what looked like a summoning spell.
"None of your sleeping gods can help you. Too bad they wouldn't be here to watch you all die by the hands of my god!" He screamed as the summoning circle was finally done.
No one could stop him as they were already in a disadvantage.
The 9th rank demons stood in front of them.
They could only clench their teeth and wait. But everyone knew three gods were here. They could only wait for them.

Black Meridian
Here's a fact about humans: They are intelligent, versatile creatures with a tendency for murder and vice. Zeta, a swordsman from a villa at the summit of Greenwich Mountain, has heard many stories about the "Sigma World," the colloquial term for any and all things superpowered in the world. He's also heard of the many tragedies, as well as the many wonders humankind has created in its history, even if he has yet to see it in person. Following the philosophy of his teacher, Gin Kagan, Zeta intends to become a "Servant of Humanity," in an endeavor to protect mankind from its gravest threats, from power-hungry sigma-users, but most importantly, from itself. He's going to need a lot of allies to pull that off, even if he doesn't understand that just yet. This story is originally published at www.sigmacentral.wordpress.com.
