《Broken Emperor》Chapter 41

The three gods went in a big room that was prepared for them last minute.
Other than Shiro who was enjoying food the other two were standing awkwardly, especially Nu.
Suddenly Shiro gave her a plate of snacks.
"Stop acting like that or you will get punched again," he said stuffing food in his mouth.
"O-Oh, yes." She grabbed the plate fidgeting.
He hit her back, making her straighten up.
"Bring back the mighty water goddess that slaughtered demons for millenias," he screamed, passing her another glass.
Nu smiled awkwardly.
But looking at the drunk Shiro, enjoying himself. She took a deep breath.
Forced down the entire drink in one breath.
Shiro screamed happily.
Nu's cheeks became red. "It-" hiccup, "beem a whily."
Shiro started laughing at her. "You, my friend, have been sleeping way too long."
He raised his glass high, "AnoTHER!"
"Ano-"hiccup "theeegh!"
"Bunch of uncivilized creatures. How can a mere drink turn you into such a state? Unworthy of being called gods," spoke Ryujin staring at them in disdain.
"Oh come on now," jumped on him Shiro.
Ryujin turned his face away from Shiro's bad breath.
"This, my friend," he raised a black bottle with a red line across it. "Is made by my lord himself for me since mortal's shit don't work."
Ryujin's eyes widened. "R-really?"
"Ha, you know you want to." Shiro played with the bottle in front of Ryujin's face, whose eyes were following it with a hesitant expression.
"Come on, help me here Nu," screamed Shiro.
"Br-ooother," she jumped on his other side. "That shit goooood," she almost fell but Shiro held her.
"The blood sea goddess is baaackk," laughed Shiro.
Suddenly Ryujin stole the bottle of his hands. "I, am confiscating this in case you break it."
"Hmm," smiled Shiro mischeviously.
"A-a sip?"Asked Ryujin.
"To your hearts' content, brother." Raised Shiro again his glass.
Ryujin filled his glass and drank.

And in mere few minutes the room was filled with laughter and singing.
The maids and knights standing outside the room didn't dare laugh at their voices knowing they were people invited by the kings and queens.
---
The rules immediatly sat down to form a meeting that started as soon Ryujin left them. The Sylvia kingdom was included.
"Even if the God's blessing is gone my country and family will still stand at the frontlines against the demons. I hope you all don't forget such a thing," spoke the Sylvia king, Arne.
"We all understand your commitement. But your country is still the powerhouse protecting the demons from invading us. Now with your god's blessing gone we just wish to aide you." Answered the king of Roz, Fujiii.
Julien continued, "It is merely a precaution, and in hope that our children gain experience in the battlegrounds."
Arne's eyes widened. They can't make moves in front of the heirs if they come to his country. But, this is a good chance. As anything can happen in the battlefield, like the slaughter of those little kids by unknown demons, he thought. He grinned.
They all scoffed as they read his thoughts.
But everyone kept their act of being worried and sincere.
Other than Salman, who was sitting there with his eyes closed the entire time.
Arne looked at him in disgust but smiled. "Will you be sending your children there as well, king Salman?"
He just nodded while cleaning his ears.
Arne was furious but couldn't really speak his mind.
"Anyway, let's wrap this up. We came here to have fun, let go of our worries a bit before going back to our daily activities." Spoke the Yamato king, Naru, with his gentle voice.
Salman stood up and stretched. "Finally, I will catch you all later."
The others left slowly following him.
Arne and his wife stood there in rage. "That bastard!"
"Calm down my king, you will have your chance with his children."

"Oh yes. And I will take my time torturing them before killing them."
"Ouh, I love it," she said as she played with his beard bitting her lips.
"I will show him." Just like how I did with your dead wife, he thought.
He grinned. "We need to prepare. tonight's party, will be busy one." He laughed evilly.
"Before then," He grabbed his wife. "We shall have our fun." He kissed her roughly while she giggled.
---
Sakura was walking alone in the guarden, away from people's gazes.
She seemed to be lost in her thoughts, daydreaming about something.
A figure slowly walked towards her.
Sakura slowly turned towards her, with a smile, "You are here."
It was Diana, staring coldly at her. "For what reason did you call for me here?"
She was wearing a black suit, which surprised Sakura for a moment.
"I assume you already noticed and know of the reason," she answered.
Diana sighed. "I hope it is not."
"Why? Am I being too greedy?" chuckled Sakura.
"You are asking me?"
"I am sorry, I don't know what I am doing," she continued.
Diana took a look at her. "It is not me you should have talked to."
"I know, it is his choice at the end. But I still called you here, to let you know."
Sakura scoffed at her own words.
Diana looked at her deeply, touched her black knife, closed her eyes. "Cayn," she spoke with a quiet voice.
Black energy stormed out the knife, taking the shape of a human behind where she stood.
It opened showing Cayn standing there, also wearing a black suit.
Diana slowly turned to look at him. "I am sorry I called for you suddenly right after leaving your side."
Cayn didn't answer but his eyebrows twitched.
"She wishes to speak with you," continued Diana.
Cayn didn't raise his eyes to look. "Why?" He asked looking at Diana.
"She will be the one telling you," she answered as she walked past him, giving him her back, waiting.
Cayn kept watching her. He still didn't look at Sakura, who had a weird expression staring at him.
"You can speak now," He asked coldly.
"I," Sakura's body trembled. "I just wished to let you know of m-my feelings towards you." She spoke with a desperate attempt.
Cayn didn't answer her but walked towards Diana, who turned as he stood behind her.
Sakura just watched this with a broken heart. He only spoke to hear her because Diana said so. She smiled sadly, and turned to walk away.
They were left looking at each other coldly.
"You didn't answer her," she said suddenly.
Cayn didn't say a word for a moment. "I believe that was enough as an answer."
Diana didn't speak no more.
They stood there looking at each other.
Diana put one hand in her pocket, the other one massaging her neck as she sighed.
She looked at him again with a cold expression, but her eyes were enraged.
Diana slowly placed her hand on his chest.
Then suddenly grabbed his black tie.
She clenched her teeth. And with her strenght she brought that tall man to bend down.
She brought him closer, forced her tongue down his mouth. Which he did nothing but give in to her ways.
She pulled back, "Did you look at her?"
"N-"
She kissed him more passionatly, clenching her fingers harder on his tie.
Her tongue slowly let go of his as she raised her eyes to look at him. "Good boy."
Cayn had an evil grin listening to her words. "Right," he said.
He raised his hand, pulling her roughly from her waist.
His other hand took a good grip of her thight to raise her leg.
She also grinned, getting her hand out of her pocket to hold his face, kissing him again.
