When Theo activated Impending Doom, his aura changed, he can feel it. It changed from the cold yet gentle aura to one that was filled with chaos and darkness. The pressure in the room increased by a significant amount, which caused Vonin, who was much closer to Theo, to fall weak on his knees as if begging for his life.
Theo, consumed by hatred and rage, gave Vonin an uppercut to chin which caused him to jerk upwards. Once Vonin's head is at Theo's abdomen level, Theo then kneed him in the face, which caused a few broken bones in his nose. During the one-sided slaughter, Vonin let out a few blood-chilling scream but was quickly silenced by Theo's repeated punches.
"Hahaha...This is getting too noisy. Can't have you alerting the guards can we?"Theo murmured to Vonin as he took out a dagger that Vonin had dropped earlier on.
"Wha..Argh gurgh gurgh..." When Vonin saw Theo took out the dagger, he voiced out his panic but before he could even say the first word, Theo skillfully pulled out his tongue and sliced it off. As the blood from his mouth flowed on the floor, he tried to scream but no sound came out; It was then he realised true despair(Yet).
"You know. Trash like you. Don't even give a shit about others. I bet you just tortured them eh." Theo said as he gestured towards the girls. Theo smiled evily as he pinned Vonin down on the floor and cut of his hands. Vonin screamed in silent as he watched Theo cut of his hands, followed by his legs. As Vonin lay there, unable to move his non-existent hands and legs, he could only wriggle in futile and stared at Theo with hatred.
"It's not nice to stare like that hahaha...let me help you."Upon finishing his sentence, Theo gave 2 quick stabs to Vonin's eyes, rendering him blind and blood started to flow out of his sockets. After rendering Vonin completely useless and harmless, Theo whispered,"Your servants, The Lamens, they will disappear from the face of thiss Earth. Starting from you." Upon hearing his words, it was as if his words were giving him a seizure, he immediately started to thrash about, however, in the end, resistance is futile as Theo stabbed the dagger into his heart.

When Vonin's bloodied corpse lay there, it seemed to be the work of a merciless monster who have no restraint; a work that is more horrible than death itself. Theo heard a soft whimper and instantly turned his head towards the source of the sound.
POV of the Demi-human
I sat in the corner as I watched the confrontation between master and the crazy young man. As the man walked towards my master, I immediately felt an immense pressure pressing down on me, it was so suffocating that I can barely breath. Struggling to breath, I saw master and the girl kneeling on the floor, unable to breath properly.
As I lay on the floor, I witness that the man did not kill master straight away, but instead, tortured him by cutting off his hands. It was then at this point that I started to fear what he will do to us once he's done with master. Will he do things to us? Will he kill me? As thoughts flashed throught my mind, the sound of stuggling has stopped, the pressure is gone now, and it is deadly quiet. After seeing that the man was done with master, I could not help but let out a small whimper, as the thoughts re-enact in my mind.
It was then he turned and looked at me. I looked back at him with fear as my heart started to pound faster and faster, I was scared witless. It was then I realised that behind that cold and merciless eyes, it contained a tinge of sadness and lonliness. He rose and staggered towards me.
As Theo turned to look at the demi-human girl, he noticed that she was shivering at the mere sight of him. Theo quicky closed his eyes and calmed himself. 'I...was that me?W-What is happening? Oh. She's still staring at me. There's blood on my face huh.'Theo came back to his senses after the killing intent from before subsided and proceeded to wipe of the fresh blood on his face.
When Theo staggered towards the girl due to the heaviness in his head, she gave a small yelp as she scrambled back to the corner. When Theo reached her, he could see that she was genuinely afraid of him; the look in her eyes display the horrors she had just seen and her body quivered as Theo reached out his hand to pat her head. She expected Theo to hit her and thus, she shut her eyes and clenched her fists-bracing for the impact, but what came next was unexpected. She felt a soft pat to her head and heard a soft and gentle voice, "It's okay. I will protect you. No one can hurt you anymore." She opened her eyes in surprise. That voice! It was filled with warmth and love.

"U-uhh-hh wuuhhh..." As her soft cries entered Theo's ears, the coldness in his heart started to melt away-bit by bit. Theo eyes softened and he hugged the girl, comforting her that everything will be alright.
"Ummm...Can you take me with you too?" Theo alerted himself as he heard a girl's voice coming from beside him. She was a human dressed in a torn piece of rag, with several holes embedded in them. "Alright. I'm gonna go get some food and clothes. Take care of her. I'll be back."As Theo got up to leave, he noticed that there the human girl was worried that he might alert the others and soon after, he felt a tugged at his leg.
The demi-human looked up at him with her big round purpled-colour eys, begging him to take her with him. "Don't worry. I won't alert the others." After comforting the demi-human and assuring the human girl that he won't alert the guards, he hastily left the cellar and sprinted back to his room.
By the time he left the cellar, it was already late in the night and the guards did not seem to be aware of their master's disappearance. When he reached his room, he quickly grabbed a few clothes and a map of the continents. Theo knew that he couldn't stay here any longer in risk of being found out. Despite his new gained strength, he was still not strong enough to face multiple people at once, and even if he can, his stamina would not last.
Speaking of Stamina, Theo brought up his stats to check his stamina.
Name: Theodore Miral Kasis Race: Human Age: 16 Titles: Will bender Equipments: Slave's wear Skills: Impending Doom, Mind over body Health: 120/120 Stamina: 5/50 Strength: 40/40 Agility: 30/30 Mana: 10/10
Oh wow! The stamina consumption for Impending Doom is merciless, 45 stamina gone in just 10 minutes...I need to get stronger...much stronger...To protect her.
After checking his status, Theo stealthily snucked into the kitchen, careful not to wake up the servants in charge of the kitchen. No doubt they are gonna get a beating tomorrow due to the missing food, but Theo could not care less; They deserved it. After taking out a jar of milk, a few soft-crusted bread and a few vegetables here and there, he snuck back towards the cellar.
[Skill gained! Stealth lvl 1]
The sudden appearance of the message startled Theo and he almost dropped on the food and clothes he was carrying. W-w-what is this? Is this a hack? Theo finally reached the cellar, and after making sure that no one noticed him, he ran down the stairs leading to the girls.
His sudden appearance caused the girls to gave out a soft shout, after realising that it's Theo, they lowered their guard, but continue to stare at him; not moving a muscle. "Eat up, you all must be hungry." Theo quickly dispatched their food and clothes while assuring them that he will not harm them. After a couple of assurerance from Theo, they gobbled down their food without a second thought. As Theo watched them eat, he felt really comfortable as if the previous burden had just been lifted, and began to ponder his next course of action.

But the angry ghost trapped inside the blade has other ideas. Buckle up for the brutal LitRPG ride of a lifetime Savage Hunters is an alternate-world neolothic fantasy. Characters grow their powers with explicit stat blocks presented right in the text, including levels, attribute scores, and unlockable skill trees. Experience is accumulated by battling enormous monsters the size of buildings. Political intrigue and romance elements ramp up as the series progresses. I originally wrote this story after playing Monster Hunter with my niece. She was 12 at the time, already an avid reader, and wanted to read my other published books. I'm a licensed psychotherapist specializing in severe trauma so I tend toward darker fiction. I told her my usual books are too brutal for her but I'd write her something special. The result was this series, which has been praised by both teens and adults for its depth and universal appeal. It begins with an emphasis on cultural elements because I consulted with a trained anthropologist to craft this neolithic setting down to exacting social detail. After these opening chapters, it rapidly shifts to an action-packed adventure. The first 3 books are fully written as of November 2020, totalling approximately 69 chapters. The first book has been professionally edited already. The following two books require some editing which I'll do on a chapter-by-chapter basis as releases progress. I welcome reviews and comments. Writing is a passion, and reader engagement makes my labor all the sweeter.
