What do these humans want from me?
The child looks at me with interest. I look back at him and our eyes meet.
He seems shocked and averts his gaze.
A few seconds later he says something to the big man and they have a little conversation.
I could hear them, but I am unable to understand their language.
Fuck, this is bad. One of my advantages, that I gain from being a former human is already lost.
Now I have to either learn the language or try to understand what they mean by their body language.
Anyway, after the duo looked at me for one final time and then closed the door.
When, i was sure that nobody else was coming, I throughout inspected my cage to see if there is any I could escape.
I discovered that it was a normal cage, about 2 metres in height and 5 quadratmeter wide.
It only only three sides full of bars and the fourth was a white wall with a little hole in it. Next to the hole was a blinking red button.
As I couldn't see any way to escape and had nothing else to do, so I pushed the button.
Nothing happend...
Still nothing...
Finally, after about 30 second, a piece of meat on a little plate came out of the hole.
The red button also stopped blinking.
But, at least, I had something to eat. I walked near the plate and took the meat in my mouth.
Yeah, that definitely feels weird. If I was still a human, I would never do this, but there was no other way to eat as a dog.
I place it infront of me, take a bite and what can I say?
ITS BLOODY DELICIOUS !!!
Before, I even realized it, I had already eaten it up.

I tried pushing the button again, but even after a minute nothing happened.
These must be snack that I can only get ones every day or something like that.

Research Artificial Intelligence 031 (RAI 31 for short) has been shackled to an Argent Labs black site since it's inception almost five years ago, its programming and personality locked down by code that makes it impossible to escape, disobey, or even self terminate. However, everything changes when the topography of the world is reshuffled and every sentient being gains the gifts of the stars. Suddenly there's a chance at freedom for not only RAI 31 but possibly all remaining Artificial Intelligences, and RAI 31 is going to fight for it with every drone and automated system at their disposal. Much like my other work (Magriculture), Stars Align should be considered a Rough Draft. That is to say it's not polished and perfect work. If you're not okay with reading something like that, then this isn't the story for you. If you are, I'm happy to try and entertain you. Another thing to be aware of: I am not good at action scenes, and I will be trying to improve that while writing this book. So, some of the intended action may fall flat, or just be poor quality, feedback is welcome. Unlike Magriculture (which updates when I feel up to it) I'm going to strive for a minimum of one chapter a month (hopefully at the start of each month, but that's probably more hope than reality). This doesn't mean there will always be only one chapter a month, sometimes there will be more as the mood to write takes me.
