《Shadow the cat》Chapter 13

Not really all he found were grassy plains and monsters, the monsters all dropped shiny golden round things. Shadow decided to hoard them. He continued forward until he found a village. The houses were wood and stone surrounded by a huge stone wall.
In the front of the village was a gate with two guards in leather armour and metal weapons guarding the rusty iron gate, it seemed all the iron was used for the gates and weapons. “Halt” the one guard stated, “all creatures must pay the fine of one gold coin to enter.”
Shadow assumed this was his shiny golden round thing and gave them one. “Wow” the one who stayed silent said, “an intelligent critter, this is rare.”
“It probably doesn’t know what a critter is” the other guard explained, “critters are non monster animals that are mostly peaceful.”
“Alright you can go through,” the second guard said. As shadow arrived in the town none of the villagers noticed as they were all throwing all types of rotting food at the mayor. Cries of boos began to ring out that lengthened to chants of ‘give us back our food!’
However the guards began pushing back the citizens saying sorrys or ‘it’s for my family’ as a way to justify doing this. Shadow ran into the mix confusing the guards and buying precious time for the villagers to overthrow the mayor. He watched them for a few moments, then left to return to the wilds to kill some more bosses!
First he would challenge a dungeon he saw one nearby. It was called the leopard's den and he started it immediately, rushing to the first mob; it was a cub. As the dungeon progressed it turned into groups, then adults than gnolls, strange human leopard hybrids. Then was the miniboss which like the mobs Shadow quickly destroyed, it was a gnoll shaman. Finally it was time for the boss fight.

It started with Shadow going in and dealing one-tenth of the bosses health with one hit, then another the boss retreated and summoned some shamans to heal it. Panda Shadow quickly one shot all the shamans, however the boss recovered another one-tenth quickly gone by shadows sniping claws with pretty much all its health gone it had one-tenth left Shadow was energised and went in for the last hit!
But the boss turned red, “I can’t die here, I'm going to take over the world!” Turning into a berserk state but it was over quickly as Shadow killed it. “Next” Shadow shouted to the world “he was a 5/10 you need to improve, but the berserk state was good.”
He then decided to take on the bamboo forest as a pacifist, Shadow really liked pandas. As a basic mob he saw pandas they were just rolling around cutely they weren’t really that much of a mob, just a tripping hazard and he oohed and aahed at their cuteness.
Little did he know if he attacked he would have to fight master bo pandas who would kill him pretty fast. Same the with the ninja red pandas that appeared later on and the giant kung fu master panda boss but Shadow just snuggled with them.
Also little did he know he was slowly losing his catness.
Then he did the underwater dungeon but he used some exploding berries he chanced upon to destroy the entire structure and eat all the dead fish, Shadow was proud of his smartness and one he thought abound it he hadn’t named and moves for a while but in the back of his mind an idea was squished ‘it’s just chucking berries Down a hole’ what was wrong with him.

When Grim closes his eyes, he can still see the bodies piled high from the first day of occupation. The day he was branded a bastard in the southern fashion. The day his father let them. Soldiers from the south bearing green cloaks and royal seals maintain order in the streets of Bleakridge, ensuring that the lifeblood of commerce continues to flow through the port city. The King’s men who enforce order with a blood-soaked iron fist? The Sons who more resemble terrorists and crime lords than revolutionaries? Or the father who watches the bloodshed and does nothing?
