They put up a good chase though, the one with an eyepatch was the fastest and only ran once when he started to show his athlete qualities but the dude was way too fast.
The one with purple, white and gold was the most physically challenged, the bunny one has the highest jump(she has to be at least 10 percent bunny probably)
To throw them off his trail he jumped off a cliff, not just any cliff the hawk leaders nest which was 100 metres tall and into the water.
The (partial) bunny was shocked, but looked over and saw the little kitten (in her eyes) somehow on a surfboard riding waves. All their minds were in shock and shutting down.
They took one look at the cat and left, albeit reluctantly as they wanted to keep it (only the girls do want to keep the cat, the boy wants to use it for science purposes).
Shadow decided to exit the premises before more came, he ran as he thought about the hoard’s of people wanting to pet him it made him shiver and run faster.
He eventually came across this random treasure chest, ‘ooh shiny in chest’ he thought. He opened it and was greeted by a huge tongue and a very sharp set of teeth “aaaah” he shouted scared for his life.
The tongue wrapped around his cat body he knew he had to hit flesh inside and he did that and killed it with a few extra swipes. ”Got destroyed by a living treasure chest” Shadow thought“the other guys back home would have a field day with this” he remembered they liked to make fun of the little perfect cat when I failed.
He needed to find civilisation and fast but not one with the girls that were chasing him so he ran, he had deja vu and ran like he did when facing the hero in golden armour. Spoiler alert they couldn’t catch up to the mighty beast that is shadow! With that done he found your not so friendly dragons.

There were several different types, a land dragon or drake, a dung flying one a wyvern, huge serpent like body’s with no wings but could slither in the air a naga and there was one more a huge true dragon that towered over drakes flew higher than wyverns and were longer the ten naga.
He made sure to stay away from those monsters.
The dog he beat up returned and got beat more by shadow and every time he retired with more magic and soon shadow could copy his spells, it was because he saw it nearly a dozen times a day no matter if he had wounds he pushed through and this allowed shadow to hone his skills and his claws.
But here in this dragon forest he was missing the dog! Can you believe it he was missing the dog!!!! But soon he stopped missing the dog and decided to scout! He went from one side to the other making sure he know where everything was and then he drew a huge map on the trees.
It had the nests of all the dragons what gender what type and approximate age. He also put where to find boss fights and dungeons plus what monsters they hold because you need to know that, I mean probably every adventurer did this.
“Hey this is a coooool forest” the person said “it’s even more fun that we didn’t bring a map or know where we’re going” shadow facepalmed at that.
