Then the next round began between Ni Lin and Si Dju just after the cleanup of battlefields was finished. Both of them were on the same level and stage. They didn't make any mistakes in using the “Crushing Fist” technique. Due to this it seemed that it would be hard to determine who would win. They were exchanging knocks and hits, however, neither of them could dominate in that fight. Everybody thought that it would be a draw. But there were some hidden cards under Ni Lin sleeves.

Both of them had experience in going to the Dark Wood with Inner Sect disciples as porters. However, once Ni Lin was lucky to save one of the inner disciples. As a reward that inner disciple has provided him information about the energy strike from QI Subdual realm. That move was simple, it was not even a technique, however, it could seem very powerful. Even if it used almost all energy from QI Formation realm cultivator Ni Lin still bet all on this move. In order to win, Ni Lin has used that energy strike when Si Dju was not expecting it. From Si Dju's side everything seemed like Ni Lin had missed, but just at the last moment he spotted a change in Ni Lin's eyes. He understood that something was wrong and he tried to dodge something, but it was too late. He felt strong pressure against him and then he fell from the ring.

Elder has proclaimed that Ni Lin won the fight. In this tournament there were three ways to win: opponent would surrender, opponent lost consciousness, or opponent would be thrown away from the ring. And that is what Ni Lin has done.

Elders were looking at Ni Lin with interest in their eyes. There were 2 reasons why only one technique was provided during QI Formation. First of all disciples should have very strong fundamentals and second is that it takes much time to be truly good in one technique. If a disciple has more techniques which he can use for sure it may increase their possibilities, but as well it may affect their fundament and other techniques which they learn. Due to this only disciples with high talent can get other techniques. Each person in this world has different talents, but to be a truly strong cultivator requires great talent in cultivation, high potential, strong talent in combat and very good perception to learn new techniques. In most cases, people with high talent in cultivation have huge potential. But rarely are there some people who can make quick breakthroughs, but at some point they can stack at some level and are not able to progress further even with help of divine treasures. Due to this Cultivation path is very hard and cultivators shouldn't concentrate on more than one thing at a time. Or they will not reach perfection.

And that is what You Min has proved today, by showing the ideal execution of “Crushing Fist” technique. He didn't spend too much or too little energy when performing this technique. Everything was ideally reconciled. While many students lost just due to the fact that they were making mistakes due to various emotions or not enough time spent on perfectioning it.

Technique which was used by Ni Lin was a huge bet while it has exhausted him almost fully. In other words, if Hu Nim was much more cautious and had more experience he might dodge that and then easily win against Ni Lin. However, Ni Lin's recklessness has shown his talent to elders. While for inner sect disciples it may take up to 2 year to learn this fundamental technique on the QI Subdual realm. But Ni Lin has made it on QI Formation level and didn't spend more than 3 years on it. This seems almost unrealistic while any other average talented person in the QI Formation realm would need at least 10-20 years in order to learn how to execute the technique. This just shows how extraordinary is the perception of Ni Lin when we speak about learning new techniques.

In the next round Si Dju and Kim Li were put against each other. Even if Si Djun was frustrated with his loss to Ni Lin he has easily won the fight against Kim Li. There were several factions such as he didn't spend much energy in previous fights and as well he was one level higher than Kim Li. At the same time Kim Li didn't recover from the injuries which he received from Yu Min.

Crowd was already waiting for the last fight of the tournament. They were expecting another miracle from Yu Min, however, Parasite and Yu Min knew that they would not be able to win against Ni Lin.

“Surrender. He is from another league. You will not be able to win against him right now.” - only this could be translated by Parasite into the mind of Yu Min.

Even Parasite ability was not very helpful. Ni Lin was holding his emotions under very tight control and in such cases it was hard for parasites to affect Ni Lin emotions. In addition, Ni Lin has much more energy and he recovers much faster, due to this long fight will not be good for Yu Min. And it is not taking into account that energy strike which was not even a technique, but an outside manipulation of energy. And it was a very well calculated move against Hu Nim with all his experience which he got in life and death situations in Dark Wood. Due to this Yu Min has surrendered.

As soon as Elder provided all the rewards to all disciples he began his speech - “As you saw rewards for the tournament as well as contribution to the sect has increased. This is not just due to the fact that our Patriarch became generous. We are preparing to occupy sects surrounding Dark Wood and in order to achieve this we should prepare for the battle. Due to this Patriarch instructed me to prepare you for it. We have 5 years before we would begin our attack. But in those 5 years we are not only stopping you from fights with other sect disciples in Dark Wood, but as well encourage you to fight them. For each killed QI Formation disciple up to level 7 you would receive 1 QI Formation Pill, for disciple level 8 you would receive 5 QI Formation Pills for disciple level 9 you can get low level armour or access to the Pavilion of Knowledge. If you are able to kill a QI Subdual realm person we would take you as an inner sect and give you resources to move into that realm. As well we provided missions to kill monsters on the territories of other sects which should decrease the potential of other sects and increase our own''.

All those words were like blessings for the Parasite. Because his main plan was to get into Dark Wood after the tournament and begin to gather all low hanging fruits. With 32 QI formation Pills, low level armour, “Wind Step” which is provided to all disciples level 6 or higher and new technique from Sect Pavilion would increase chances to devour this world just increased. Yes, you understand properly the main goal of the parasite is to devour this whole world. This is why Parasite was created by his master. However, to achieve this goal Parasite should be stronger than all cultivators of this world. But with Yu Min's strength it is impossible to achieve this. Yu Min was only on the pick level 6 and with remaining energy from destroyed potential he would get to level 7 in several days. But it will have only 3 QI Subdual levels to be used and it doesn't make sense to utilise them to improve his current cultivation any more. With 32 QI Formation plus 1 pill from reaching level 6 would allow Yu Min to reach level 8 minor Stage in 4 months. It was not very safe to take too many pills at once and with Yu Min talent it would take around 1 months to absorb 7 QI formation pills to move one stage further, but with each level the absorption rate was increasing.
