One by one disciples were getting on stages and were starting fights. In the case of Ni Lin (level 8), Si Dju(level 8), Hu Nim (level 7) all of them got level 5 opponents which surrendered as soon as they got on stage. Kim Li (level 7) was not so lucky and he got another level 6 student, but even that student couldn't do much against Kim Li. While Kim Li was fighting Parasite noticed that Kim Li is still defending his head. This means that Kim Li has a weak spot.

Till this moment most of the fights were tacking no more than 5 minutes, with one exception. Parasite attention was dragged one more time to another stage. It was level 5 student who bit level 6 after 20 minutes of harsh battle. He was required to start his fight again. The name of the level 5 contestant was loudly screamed around the stage:

“Ken Chi, Ken Chi, Ken Chi” - disciples were trying to cheer him up.

Ken Chi's opponent was a level 5 which was great fortune for him. However, after fighting with the level 6 disciple he had too many injuries to be certain of winning. But when the fight began, he was filled with confidence, while his opponent was fearing something. Ken Chi didn't know that Parasite was helping him by manipulating the emotions of both. It was a great opportunity for Parasite to check if what he thought is true. Ken Chi potentially has a unique body constitution which allowed him to use energy blows 2 stages higher than normal. At level 5 his blows could be similar to minor level 6. This is a hidden card about which Ken Chi was unaware of.

Ken Chi received many injuries and doesn’t have much energy left so he understood that he should finish this fight as soon as possible. He rushed in face to face with his opponent. His opponent saw in which condition Ken Chi was, he didn't hesitate to get into this close combat. The opponent thought that he had more energy and fewer injures, thus, such tactic will quickly exhaust Ken Chi. However, due to the fact that Ken Chi has more force in his punches his opponent quickly received some unexpected injuries. His opponent brilliantly manipulated his energy and quickly adjusted to the Ken Chi's surprising force.

But in the middle of the fight another miracle happened. Ken Chi has broken into level 6. Fights may improve speed of cultivation, especially life and death fights. But not so many cultivators want to put their life at stake. But in this situation Ken Chi was already at the pick stage for some time. Thus, previous fights and current ones forced him to use everything he had. And all these things contributed to his breakthrough. Thus, his opponent was injured even more and he began to lose concentration which drastically affected his energy manipulation.

After several more moves Ken Chi has won. It was very fast fight not more than 2-3 minutes. And if not the unexpected breakthrough Ken Chi wouldn't stand hear as a winner. Everybody saw how glad was Ken Chi after winning that fight. Ken Chi begging to thank everybody for cheering him up before getting from the stage. And as soon as he got from the stage he was surrounded with disciples who were congratulated him. Most of that crowd were level 5 students who thought that Ken Chi made a miracle.

The victory of Ken Chi only proved what Parasite had discovered. Parasite knew that if Ken Chi would receive so many pills as well as low level armor he potentially would try to go to the Dark Wood. And it would be easier for Parasite to get benefits from it.

After the fight ended, 8 contestants were left. Out of them Ni Lin and Si Dju were level 8; Hu Nim and Kim Li at level 7; 3 including Ken Chi level 6. In the next round Ken Chi was put against Ni Lin thus he surrendered. Si Dju got another level 6 opponent who he bit very fast. Yu Min got the last level 6 disciple. And the fight was similar to the previous one which Yu Min had. Thus, Yu Min won without any problems. The last fight was between Hu Nim and Kim Li and everybody was interested if Hu Nim could do something against Kim Li. But still nobody believed that Hu Nim would win. But in the middle of the fight Hu Nim threw sand in Kim Li's eyes which was a dirty trick, but cultivators' world was very cruel.

Crowd was cheering up Hu Nim, while they didn't like Kim Li much and were thinking that hardened skin was some type of cheating. After that Hu Nim placed several powerful blows and was thinking that he would win, but Kim Li got very angry and began to suppress Hu Nim.

Parasite was feeling uncontrollable aggression in Kim Li and thus he used it for his plan by increasing this aggression - “He thinks that he could win. He is making fun of you when you don’t see him. He thinks that you are cheating. He thinks that you are weak without this mutations”.

Crowd was terrified because they never saw Kim Li so aggressive. They saw him when he was angry. But this aggression which Kim Li was showing was so huge that they were afraid that Hu Nim would die. And in normal circumstances Kim Li wouldn't be so aggressive, but there was Parasite behind all of this. Yu Min and Parasite already noticed that Kim Li was not very injured after Hu Nim used a trick. And due to this Kim Li still had huge chances to win the fight, thus, Parasite making Kim Li much more angry. At some point Kim Li went into a rampage. The destruction was everywhere, even Hu Nim was not able to avoid all of those. He could even die, but there was an elder who was looking after the fight and was able to stop Kim Li before anybody would get very severe injuries.

But Parasite achieved what he wanted. During the rampage Kim Li has used too much of his energy as well as got under several Hu Nim blows which created internal injuries. Little by little Parasite was digging a hole. Everybody knows that Kim Li will be the next opponent of Yu Min. And they didn't know if Yu Min could keep the same calmness when he would be fighting with Kim Li. Kim Li took the full initiative in that fight and Hu Nim just went into the full defense tactic. But that was a mistake, because Hu Nim begin to spend too much energy for defense while his rare attacks were not so affective against Kim Li. Most of the Hu Nim attacks were placed on the Kim Li's body, which didn't bother much Kim Li. The fight took almost 10 minutes while both opponents were on the higher level, thus, had more energy. Amount of energy which was possessed by both contestants were almost identical. However, Kim Li had skin mutation which allowed him to neglect his defense as such he was able to put all his energy only into attacks. Due to this Hu Nim was exhausted faster. It doesn't mean that Hu Nim was not able to injure Kim Li, just the injures were not so severe.

After Kim Li won, the elder made a break for 30 minutes. Disciples were cleaning the destruction which were created by Kim Li's rampage. During all this time Parasite and Yu Min was observing the condition of Kim Li. And indeed, they noticed several injures which Hu Nim left on Kim Li's body. Which means either Kim Li was relying to much on his skin mutation which was stupid or he just can't control himself very well during the rampage. And Parasite was assuming the latest was the case. In all fights, except the last one Kim Li was calm and he was putting some efforts into defense, especially when blows were launched in his head. But during the last fight against Hu Nim he didn't bother to defend at all which cost him several punches in his head. Who would put some efforts into defense with level 5 and 6 opponent, but fully neglect the defense with level 7 opponent who is on the same level.

Soon the cleanup was finished and Elder invited Yu Min and Kim Li on stage.

Elder asked “Yu Min, do you want to surrender or you want to try yourself?“ - Parasite knew that in a face to face confrontation Yu Min would not win against Kim Li easily. Due to this his plan was to exhaust Kim Li. But first it is required to make him angry and with a smile on face Yu Min pronounced - “Respected Elder, I am very thankful that you care about me so much. But my skills should be enough to win against this green lizard” - those words quickly make Kim Li angry. All the disciples already noticed that Kim Li skin was a little green like lizards have. And as well Kim Li was easily getting angry. Potentially it was another side effect of the pill which Kim Li used, because before that Kim Li was a calm person.

“Then you may begin the fight” - While Elder was pronouncing that Parasite already sensed that Yu Min's opponent was very angry and it began to put more wood into the fire. Kim Li was already in rage and quickly launched several blows, while Yu Min didn't even try to attack. He was very calm and just was dodging. In reality even Hu Nim could have used the same strategy, but he was too terrified of Kim Li's rampage and was caught under Kim Li's attacks. On the other hand, Yu Min was very calm and confident; not many people at his age can be so concentrated while under such a wild attack.

“You are doing great. He almost used all his energy. You need to be more concentrated. You can win if you stretch time. Time and his aggressiveness are your best friends.” - all those were translated by Parasite to make Yu Min more focused on the fight and more confident in himself

Previous analyses has shown to Yu Min and Parasite that Kim Li attacks were straightforward without any tactics when Kim Li was in rampage. All of this were creating opening for Yu Min. Almost all attacks from Kim Li side were dodged by Yu Min. Moreover, Yu Min was able sometimes to counterattack. The Elder and inner disciples notices that Yu Min was punching the same places which were injured by Hu Nim in previous fights. And Kim Li didn't bother to defend those, but was making Kim Li crazy as hell. He began to put too much energy in each blow. The fight was already going for 20 minutes. Everybody was amazed that all this time Yu Min was very concentrated and didn't make any mistakes at all. Only sometimes he was defending instead of dodging just to get additional opportunity to counterattack Kim Li. After some more time Kim Li seemed exhausted and was not able to concentrate energy in his fist. This was the moment which Yu Min and Parasite were waiting. The fight was finished very fast afterwards. Yu Min just quickly took the initiative and made several powerful blows and sent Kim Li to the ground with a knockout.

When he finished he saw that everybody was surprised. After Kim Li got into a rampage nobody believed that Yu Min would win. Even for Yu Min, it was a hard fight and he spent almost all his energy. If Kim Li was on the level 8, Yu Min wouldn't have any chances. So it was the second miracle for today which Yu Min has created.

Just after Yu Min got from the stage he was as well surrounded by many level 6 disciples and even Hu Nim got to Yu Min to congratulate him. Parasite was filling some happiness and surprise from surrounding people, but as well many of them were emanating envy. But when Yu Min and Parasite were looking on the faces of those people they saw only smile and were hearing the gratitude. Such difference in emotions and body language make Parasite to think about this. Before Parasite didn't think about such behavior of people, but know Parasite understood that not all the actions which people are doing can mirror what is really going inside their heads.
