Quest update: License
??? (0/1) -> defeat R.I.V.A.L.
Terrance could not help but scratch his chin as he read the quest update. He wondered if the quest would have changed into something else if he did not go with a police theme or did a poor job or even skipped the bonus quest overall. With a shrug, he put the thought in the back of his mind and went to the special zone portal to leave. This session of DCO had worn him out and he decided to get what left of the night as sleep.
This naturally did not mean nothing occurred after he left. It was not an hour before a roaming party of players came across the new additions. Neutral elite mobs were something they had not seen before. So naturally, they attacked and got wrecked so hard the fight did not last ten seconds. The main part of this was because Spars was overhead observing them. With the rogue in its sights, there was no surprise attack when she finally struck. Being taken out by the revolver wielding raptor with two well-placed shots in the back of the head. Leaving the shotgun-wielding dino to face against the other four members of the attackers. Loaded with slugs, the tank’s armor buckled as it was dented deep into the defender’s chest, causing both true damage and piercing damage as well as a severe injury. The poor warrior got it worse when a flash-bang grenade went off inches in front of his face. Allowing the shotgun-wielding dino an easy second kill. This left the mage and healer of the group alone without any defenders. That did not matter too much as before the warrior hit the ground rapid-fire of .50 cal rounds tore them to shreds.
Rue this entire time was sitting on a couch eating popcorn watching the scene unfold. Naturally curious, Glyax took to her side and grabbed a handful of buttery goodness and tossed one into his mouth.

“ Who’s dungeon is that? Those raptors look cool. Much better than mine.”
Rue smirked, “ Well, then your in for a surprise.”
Before Rue can get a look of annoyance a hand reached from behind the couch into the half-empty popcorn bowl.
“ Stop teasing the boy Rue. We all know how that is going to go down.”
Glyax looked behind him to see Steve just tossing a piece of popcorn in the air, it was obviously thrown at a bad angle and too hard but magically it corrected course and landed right into his mouth.
“ So, are you going to explain it?”
Steve smirked as he looked at the screen.
“ Sure, but to be fair, your dungeon is not the only one that is having this happen too. It is a player update coming out so there is not really much to it. It is called dungeon territory. In which special individuals who meet certain criteria have the opportunity to expand on some of the lore and events of a dungeon. I shall give you a reference. Loreright, the one that got the ‘pathifist' achivo, and not to be mistaken with pacifist, which is a whole nother achievement. Anywho, he unlocked a unique skill and quest chain that will only be available to him, for now. This quest chain was designed to help fill in some backstory a dungeon core might forget to add to their own personal lore.”
Glayx took a moment to process this.
“ Wait, so he cares more about the game lore than the fighting?”
Steve raised his shoulders and Rue just giggled.
“ Doesn’t that mean that he is writing the history of MY dungeon? Don’t I get a say in that?”
Rue and Steve just looked at each other and started laughing. For the next half hour, they discussed this new development in the dungeon.
