Lovely-and-Frightening Women
Chapter's intro:
In the slope, a path, heading to the shrine of Mt. Ma Eling, Doresa Haulicrity the red-eyes beauty, and Krispen Daatibo a soldier of Jaino in the third division, they are walking. “Hey, Doresa, what is your intention in the Lightning Clan's shrine?” has asked by Krispen. “You never told me anything. I'm off the loop.”
“Jaino's mother had sent a message to me requesting the protection of Zahamara's mistress. Won't you willing to aid her?”
“I see... Lead the way then. I'm more than willing to help the family of my boss.”
Meanwhile in Jelfyr, in the northwest wall: the lusus, Repear, an elite of the underworld, rages after the rainfall of arrows showered to his body. At where he thinks the attack has come, he gazes. After hearing Olyn's words, he disappears from the place.
Above the northeast gate of Jelfyr, Niala Silviray, she hears and sees in the mid air, her approaching opponent, the lusus,
“This is your payment for enraging me!”
She replies, “Die.” Her hands let go the bow and arrow. Blood is all over her body. Her hands are shaken. Her fragile mind conceives by the fear resulted by her terrifying ability that shatters the lusus body. “A- I, the, this, this, this is wrecking shattering.” The guilty cold overwhelms her feelings. The scattered pieces of the lusus body, the sight crumbles her will. She kneels as she cries. Olyn, this is terrifying... Sudden images appear on her mind about her love ones that had suffered the same fate. The frightening thought has fainted herself.
Back inside the throne of the sharp tall tower; trying to resist the pain from his skin bit by bit tearing off from his body, Raume gazes at Sai Mea. “Sai Mea! Run!” And his loud scream roars inside the throne.
Sai Mea cries. Tears river from her eyes. Her scream echoes aloud, “Stop it, please!” While seeing Raume struggling to endure the pain, she yells, “What are you castle guards for? Are you just a stone and watch the death of our prince? Please, save him, protect him.”
All the persons with the duty to protect the prince feel the guilt. Yet, the presence of the powerful foe suppresses themselves to act.
The eyes-closed old man laughs. “There's nothing to expect from weaklings. It's time for you all to witness, the rise of my granddaughter.” A foot has landed above his head while a strict voice of a woman he hears,
“Are you talking about me?” has spoken by Vilyarin. She revolves as she knocks down the head of Eladin onto the floor. The skull has shattered. Blood has scattered onto the floor. The sight terrifies every person around.
Previously suppressed by Eladin psychic, those members of the royal squad land on the ground. And so Raume's body does. The pain from his ruptured skin hinders himself to open his eyes. He mumbles, “Sai Mea... run...”

Each step of the pale beauty nearing to Raume, terrifies everyone. Sai Mea asks, “Who are you?” She sees the woman draws a knife. Sai Mea bars herself to protect the prince.
Vilyarin speaks, “Remove yourself at my path. I shall save him myself.” The woman slices her palm. Blood floats in the air and increases its size. Sai Mea distances herself as the blood surrounds and cloaks to Raume.
“Tell me, who are you?” has asked by Sai Mea. “And what are you doing?”
“Don't make me repeat my words. And Jaino warned me not to reveal myself.”
In a sudden, the place gravitates by a malicious force. Everybody has witnessed Eladin's body begins to mutate. End of intro.
Into a next floor, Jaino has landed. He listens to a woman, Taila,
Jaino, my child, save her... She's confronting on Merna's opponent.
That's good to hear.
What?
Your child is safe, trust me this one.
What made you certain?
Because that foe is the same as the first prince of Jelfyr. They can't harm each other.
But you were defeated against him, right?
My defeat that day was the first prince put a time limit to me. Too late for me to realize that his body was already belonged to the wind. That lose had proven my thoughts and had strangled myself to keep looking for an answer of how to defeat him yet I could not found. It added problem to my mind that had already suffered from another trouble. The people I met before in my ascension as the third were just his imitation of the real persons speaking from faraway. That made me certain that the underworld has something beyond like him.
I see.
Listen to me instead. Support her. You can link your mind with her via telepathy, right?
Yes.
Every information you get, use it to support her.
It requires a deep concentration. But, I got it. After this, let's have a sweet talk in private, understood?
I hear you... I guess... you won't accept 'no' so, later then.
Take care.
Before Jaino could move, his spirit of light speaks, Hey, speak with void. If you want to use us spirits at the same time, void might be able to help you.
Okay, let me communicate with void then.
It's been awhile my, master.
You're void?
Yes, I am. I'm nothing, but can be everything and might be the end of many things. In order to use me, as per request, ah ah ah~.
That's— Jaino's face flushes. Alright, I get it. Why are you guys so weird?
Master, flirting, as both hearts feel the heat, as long as it won't create disturbance and destruction against your law which mark as your species belongs to the high race, then you're doing on what's natural in your life.
I guess. And the offer is my only choice. Switch with light first, I might find someone in my way to rescue.

Later then.
Back in the southwest area of Jelfyr, Merna yells to the missy, “Child, attack her again!” She sees the missy hesitates to point her finger above the sky. “I'll take care of those! Buy me some time!”
Then so, Ritzel begins her fierce assault against the female formation of fire. Merna rises her hands upwards. Those fireballs vanish in the sky. The grievous repetition of the whirling images on her eyes and the heaviness of her head are followed by her fainted consciousness. One of her member, a worried female has caught her body and helped her to stand.
Dilla, a woman clung by a legless lizard, she speaks, “We have to leave. We can't continue without her plan and orders.”
“But, what about the child?” has asked by her other teammate.
“That's—”
A woman's voice interferes her words, “Leave her safety on us. I take over here. You have served enough.” Her words and her presence give tears to Merna's members who sees her, wielding a giant blade and wearing her civilian attire, Jesifer smiles back at them.
Criselia comments, “Hey, that woman overused her medou ability, she won't be coming back to her senses for a whole day or so. Let her rest.”
“You have our gratitude. We move now. Though, she might regret not having to finish her task and unable to surpass your fame as a female legendary slayer. But we are at our limit. Our hope is in your hands,” has replied by Dilla. And before they could walk away, Jesifer speaks,
“There is far more greater than fame alone. One is to put your life in the line to protect or help a stranger, your love one, and for something you don't realize. That is not an achievement but a noble act.” Jesifer smiles at them.
After they have heard her words, warming their feelings, the group cries. They continue to walk, leaving their hope to the hands of the legendary swordswoman.
Criselia speaks, “As what we have talked, I can't allow you to fight her at close distance. Lightning won't allow you to survive.”
Watching at the liquid burns back to a female formation of fire and the missy Ritzel attacks again; Jesifer asks, “Give reason of why that child could not be harmed by my attack?”
“I just glimpsed at the book the Jaino had bestowed to her. So I'd told her how terrifying a force could be if she could understand the archaic words of your language.”
“That can't satisfy my doubt.”
“Ritzel!” her yell has made Ritzel to look back at her. “Hold the hands of the fire!”
“Huh?” has reacted by the missy, confused.
Jesifer comments, “Are you crazy?”
“Why's so afraid? That woman and the child can't harm each other, though,” has replied by Criselia. “Jes?” She smiles.
“...I understand. Child, continue your attack.” And Ritzel obeys gladly. To the sky, Jesifer rises her hand. Outside the southwest wide gate of Jelfyr, in the wide plain, the huge mountain of ice turns to dust and it disappears. Jesifer points her giant blade to their opponent. The huge wind bursts freezing all over the surroundings. The missy distances herself unharmed by the attack. This leaves Jesifer speechless.
“Wow, Jes, thank you. With her in immovable state, I can finally extract it soul into the four fragments.”
“You can do that to all alive being?”
“Jes, I can't do that to the livings! This thing is not a person anymore! It's a weapon of destruction! Probably modified by its creator. It doesn't have soul like ours. It can't communicate on us.” Criselia points her hand at the enemy. “The different owners of these combined soul fragments were already dead.”
“How cruel... How could they do this to my people?”
“I can understand you, Jes. But you have done the same as them, searching for, the strongest.” Her words open Jesifer's eyes. The queen feels the guilt.
In the wide room, containing an elevated circular platform, having five bridges leading to the emptiness, the armed people await the report of their scouts, a beginning for their attack.
Above the circular platform, Frehviesa Amahaon has landed. She has stood and speaks, “I am the main exceptional general of Jelfyr and the adviser of the queen. I demand you all to surrender. Your operation is considered a failure. Any hostile action from your side is the resultant of your demise.”
The mutters run across the crowd. An armed person speaks, “Brave words. Certainly, aren't you out numbered and surrounded?”
“Me, alone? You speak ahead. Of course, I have someone in company, the guardian in the mystery cavern, Cally Haulicrity.” The name alone trembles the armed people.
And behind the crowd, standing in the door, the strictness beauty, mother of Jaino, speaks, “You people accused the other branch of my tribe on feeding to our own flesh. You actually captured them for your experiment. My hatred against you all is unbearable. So either obey the main exceptional general or—” her fist slams, bangs, and hollows the wall, cracking outwards its surface and causing a tremor in the area momentarily “—I can bestow you a painful experience.”
