《Fantasy Air [GL]》Chapter 10. Knights are Useless

"You think it's that easy to walk away from the Women's Court of Justice…" said a shivering voice that radiated hope. It slowly turned smug and continued, "after abusing a frail young maid?"
Everyone looked towards Arnacia!
The knight's boots stopped moving. Silence eloped the room. If not for the heartbeats, one could read the flickering of candles.
Arnacia's smile in candle light seemed like an evil grin.
"I demand justice!" Arnacia spoke loudly. "Does a strong Silver Knight have rights to abuse an innocent girl?" Arnacia moved her head in Theon's direction.
The three other women followed suit.
Theon's expression immediately turned ugly.
Rose grabbed her sword's hilt and walked towards Theon. Her body clearly giving off an aura that made Theon stay.
"This maid is out of her minds!" Theon said.
"Can you say it after I show your hand's print around my arm?" Arnacia gave Theon a death stare.
'I won't let him cause trouble for me again.
'She can help me' Arnacia looked expectantly towards the veiled lady.
"Silver Knight Theon, do you wish to say anything in your defense?" the veiled lady said.
Theon squinted his eyes. Arnacia's arm was not visible to him. He could only hope that the print was not deep and most likely gone. In fact, that was his only bet.
"How can a brave Silver Knight like me, that worked-"
"Silver Knight Theon, save your words," Arnacia quickly interrupted.
'It will be bad if sprouts his deeds for the kingdom to lighten punishment.' Arnacia put forward her hand for everyone to see. She still remembered the pain of her arm being squeezed.
Everyone tried to see the palm print under the candlelight. But not a mark was present on Arnacia's hand. She herself couldn't see it! After pressing on the spot where the knight had grabbed her, she felt no pain.

"Liar maid!" Theon couldn't help but laugh. How could a mark remain for so long?
But Arnacia was confused. She was so sure that the mark would last at least a day.
"I think the Truthtale flower did not die because lying is in her nature," Theon added.
The veiled lady looked at Arnacia. Her eyes held disappointment.
Rose also looked at the maid. She didn't expect her to lie.
Whereas Isabelle only stood there with her head down.
"I am telling the truth! This Knight-"
"Then show me the proof!" Thron said louder than Arnacia. His voice totally suppressed hers.
"Then I will take my leave." Without delay, Theon turned to walk away.
"Did you forget the slap?!" Arnacia slowly said.
This time she checked her face, and it still stung!
How could she let this shameless knight walk away? Not once, but twice, he hurt her. On top of it, he did not have any proof for the arrest, either.
"She's lying again," Theon snorted.
If the palm print did not remain, then surely the slap's mark would have vanished by now. But his eyes turned wide when Arancia turned around.
She carefully positioned her face so the mark would neatly light up by candlelight.
"Impossible!"
The veiled lady examined Arnacia's face. Rough marks on the maid's face were deeply highlighted under the candlelight. She recalled the surprise on Arnacia's face when the hand print was not visible.
"Silver Knight Theon, do you know the new laws protecting women?" the veiled lady said.
"This is not right!" Theon's lost his mind. The fears that vanished assaulted his mind again.
Arnacia smiled over her victory.
At the side, Rose was ready in case the knight did anything out of line.
"Silver Knight Theon Alucard, I sentence you to one year in prison!" the veiled lady gave her verdict.

"I don't accept it!" Theon waved his hand in the air.
"Two years if you act recklessly," the veiled lady said.
"No! You can't pass a judgment on me!" Theon grabbed the hit of his sword.
"I can all judges have equal right-"
Theon drew his sword and it towards the veiled lady. He laughed in short bursts and slowly moved the sword around.
The two maids were like sheep waiting to get slaughtered. Silver Knight Rose would be a problem, but to him, she was only a woman.
"No one comes to this place, what if…" Theon smiled.
'This knight is crazy! Even if he kills us all, there's no way he gets away with it.' Arnacia looked towards the knight, then at the veiled lady.
'What will she do?'
Rose already had her sword in hand. She slowly took small steps towards Isabelle. She extended her hand and pushed Isabelle back.
As if it was a cue, Arnacia walked down from the stage and approached Isabelle.
Just as Arnacia reached Isabelle, Theon took a step forward and swung his sword!
Arnaica hurriedly pulled Isabelle back on seeing this. Rose was ready for this moment. She matched the oncoming sword with hers. Both the swords were pushed back at the same time.
"Five years," the veiled lady's voice was clear for everyone to hear.
Theon's rage only burned on hearing the words. He took a long swing again, wanting to completely overpower Rose!
But Rose matched his movements. It was as if she was taking the challenge head on!
The swords clashed again. It was a battle of brute strength. Theon was almost certain that Rose would lose.
But the arms of Rose were not that of an ordinary woman. Veins popped up and her muscles tightened. She matched the full powered swing of Theon again and again!
Clang!
Arnacia couldn't look away from the scene. Even though Rose's biceps weren't as thick as Theon's. It was clear that they held similar strength.
Theon clearly disliked the fact and swung again.
However, this time Rose did not take the swing head on. Instead, she evaded the bloody swing and kicked Theon's stomach with her knees. Without stopping, she thrust her elbow into the knight's neck.
The manly knight fell, so did his sword.
But just at this moment, the door was kicked open. Light entered the room followed by a man. His figure was lean, and the silhouette showed that he had long hair.
He walked slowly, despite his bizarre entry. His figure turned clearer, was wearing a blue dress with a high collar. A sword with a thin blade was hanging on his waist. He dabbed his hand above his ear to fix the yellow hair.
"Tsk, Knights are useless," he said, but his eyes were towards Isabelle.

Life in the New World
On the Hiatus: I began writing this novel when I was, in all honesty, very bad at writing. I hope to revisit creative writing in the near future and I plan to, at some point in time, revisit this. I am flattered that many people have taken the time to read this story, but it is not what I intend to start with, as it will likely need a hard rewrite in order to correct many of the more glaring issues it has. Join our hero and follow his exciting adventure through a newly changed world! WARNING their will be violence, profanity,, and gore in this fiction. if any of these make you uncomfortable this is not a story for you turn around and walk away now!!!
