《Players in Remnant》Multiwalker Collab (2)

“So let me get this straight. We're hunting this ‘Gamer’ down, which is going to finish all the problems of you being able to leave this world, and… Nothing else?” Orm clarified once more.

“Nothing much more than killing them, yep.” Askad nodded.

“Couldn't we just… reason with them?” The viking had his hopes up, only for it to fall on Askad’s answer.

“For this scenario… We can't, sadly.” Askad shook his head. “I thought Gman had placed memories about this to you two?”

“We only got the basics of it. Basically them being ‘overly-power-fucking-civilian-turned-powerhouses’ as quoted by him.”

Askad looked at him before sighing.

“Look, from what Gman told you, he is right in that case. They are annoying, powerhouse shitheads that we often dealt with. Only if they are left ignored for a greater amount of time will they become a problem.

The Gamers, based on the archives I was able to access, are very much unpredictable and would most likely use people to get carried and level up. They will, without any doubts, will alter pathways or timelines of the universes they spawn in. And its completely random sometimes, as their system varies as such. It would completely fuck up the system. Whatever they do; conquer the world, fuck shit up, they have potential to create chaotic shit.

And for the organization that I’m in, and you two being briefed about, is what keeps to make a balance of the multiverse system and order. And also not making the world plunge into the fucking Darkness of the Abyss which would be fucking horrifying.”

“...So… watch for the Gamer around?”

“Yes, but not many Gamers would be a problem… Except for the select few that can beat even the strongest of them…”

“...Which are?”

“They are called the Undestined End ones, they are beings that could even make the strongest of the Multiwalkers sweat. And our strongest could literally and easily destroy anything in his path if he has no limiter stuck up in his ass.”

“Wait, you serious-” Orm chuckled before Lordez smacked him in the head.

“We’ll come back to that topic, but focus. What are the beings you mentioned?”

“They are… basically on the level of Elder Gods.” The two Players of Remnant paled slightly at that information. The Elder Gods were something mentioned in the game’s lore. They were basically beings that are even more stronger than the World Bosses introduced into the game.

“...Now im fucking worried.” Orm couldn’t help but say.

“Don't worry much about it, if we know one would spawn, we would know.”

“We’ll take your word for it.” Lordez sighed. “Other than that, I feel my fucking head hurting from… everything. Hell, I am an undead for crying out loud!”

“Ironic isn't it?” Orm deadpanned.

Lordez grumbled before sighing then laughing. He guessed that things shouldn't be so depressing after hearing that. He guessed he should let loose at times.

“I’ve ordered my summons to scan around Vale. So it should be in time they will be discovered.”

“The sooner we find them, the better. If he levels up, then we are in a concerning bit of the phase.”

“Meaning?”

“He's going to be that one fly in your room.”

“Oh joy.” Orm drawled in despair.

Lordez laughed at their sorrowfulness, the two looked at him with a glare. “What the hell are you laughing on about?”

“Hahahah… Ha… We’ll, I may have a solution to how we can quickly find him, aside from waiting for my summons to tell me.”

Without speaking anymore, he materialized an orb from his inventory. The two’s eyes widened at the sight of it. Lordez let out a toothy grin by the looks of their faces.

“Is that…?”

“Yes… Yes it is.”

Gamer 3rd POV. . .

(Hours Earlier)

The teen’s eyes slowly opened up, blinking several times before grunting as he sat up straight and then looked around his surroundings.

“Where's this place at…?”

Looking around once more before somehow opening up a menu, and thus the blue screen’s light illuminating in front of his face.

‘Everything looks fine and dandy enough…’ “Oh well, my new life has begun. And journey on kicking Cinder, and fucking off Salem mission is a go!”

As before he was about to deduce a plan on what he is supposed to do now, he heard sounds of rattling of bushes.

He got up and readied his spear. He noticed that there was no Grimm nearby. If there was, he would have been able to sense it.

Just as he thought it could have been just the wind or some other animal that noticed him, a large creature appeared just suddenly to his left.

It was a spider. A giant, mother of god, spider. The damn thing was almost bigger than a cow! It would have looked like a simple giant spider if not for its carapace colored white and seemingly made of bones and its eyes entirely red that he could have sworn it was glowing.

He deduced that this was some kind of an insect-type Grimm, and that he is some kind of a different, alternate RWBY universe.

He looked at it in shock, not before using Observe at it.

Description: (?) - (System error: Cannot observe further more. Detecting higher presence blocking Observation)

‘Wait, what? A Skull Spider? What the fuck is that? And what the hell is making the Observe malfunction? Shouldn't it NOT malfunction!?’

This is a legitimate bad encounter. The Skull Spider was several times stronger than him. He had absolutely almost ZERO chance of survival, and it would take a hell lot of luck and miracle for him to be able to pull his ass off in surviving this encounter.

He glanced around, looking for paths to escape. Or something to use against it.

Just as he was about to make a decision, the Skull Spider leapt away into the trees, disappearing. He took a 50-50 chance and booked it. He ran as fast as he could before finding a large area where it was not covered in trees.

He stood in the middle of the field and readied his spear, activated his skills, and readied up his spells. He waited… waited… and waited…

“Did it just… ignore me?” He slowly came to the realization that he may… Or may have not overreacted right there.

He was very much glad that there was no one watching him on his slight… embarrassment.

Ok, I think ‘slight’ would be a bit of an understatement there.

Timeskip. . .

Level Up (6x)

Acquired Beowolf Fang (12), Beowolf Leather (7), Ursa Claw (2), Grimm Bones (21)

He proceeds wherever he is going, encountering some Grimm along the way, making it to level 13. But it was still not enough. He needed to get stronger, stronger than that Grimm spider he encountered.

Whether he was lucky to live off from that random beginner encounter, or that fate was just playing with him.

He hoped it was just the former.

He took a rest on a nearby cave, making sure that there was nothing there before making a small perimeter of traps around it so he could sleep safely and soundly without too much worry.

He got a skill out of it too.

New skill acquired! (Trap Making - Passive) (Level: 2)

This skill allows you to make traps. The higher the level, the more effective and deadly the traps will be.

Right now, Sam was looking into his skills, thinking of trying to craft a new skill like in the Gamer Manga.

After some hard-ass thinking and theorizing, he experimentally made a skill.

New skill acquired! (Mana Armor - Active) (Level: 1) MP required: 50 per second

This skill allows you to cast an armor out of mana, which reduces any form of damage taken. Boosts status by +5 if active.

-5 damage decreases to all forms of attack.

New skill acquired! (Mana Rock Breaker - Active) (Level: 1) MP required: 100 per use

This skill has been acquired by repeatedly beating a rock multiple times with a weapon encased with magic. This would be able to break strong materials of rock easily.

+20 physical damage

And now, he’ll have to rest. Regaining his energy, HP and MP back to its full. Though lots of thoughts came to his mind.

He is in RWBY, but possibly not the RWBY he knows of. The fact that he encountered a whole new different type of Grimm told him that the plot may have changed.

There was nothing much for him to know about what was going on in this universe, as was briefed much too little before being dropped off here. Hell, he would have thought the possibility of the cast being… Gender-switched.

A male Goodwitch? He shuddered at the imagination. Hell, it would also be very damn weird for a man using a crop duster as a weapon. Not much on a woman due to… Very, pretty obvious reasons for that. I don’t need to explain that shit do I?

Pushing the distracting thoughts aside, he was utterly confused as to why the spider Grimm didn’t attack him.

Did Salem take notice of him? Was she planning something for him? He knows that the Queen, or possibly King, of the Grimm can see through the creature's eyes, no matter which. Only if she is absolutely looking through one of Grimm's eyes.

The spider Grimm didn’t seem to bore any scars, indicating its age difference of a creature that has been through many battles and lived long enough to survive them.

He’ll have to get focused on getting stronger if he were to encounter those things again. Maybe those things can drop him good shit, but it's too early to think that now.

For thinking carefully of the actions that may happen in the future and consequences of it, you gain +1 level on WIS.

And the Gamer System was simply mocking his ass...

. . .

Next Day. . .

Finding no unusual activities, he continued walking through a path he just found. Walking for several hours, he managed to find civilization, specifically Vale.

“Finally!” He exclaimed before calming himself.

He walked around, the city was as it looked like in the show, although he couldn’t help but notice a lot of guards patrolling around the city more than usual.

He had changed his outfit so as to not attract any attention. Any of his Grimm wear would bring in some eyes on him. Something he shouldn't have in the early stage.

After walking around, he couldn’t help but went to ask one of the guards. “Hey, what's up with the security?”

The guard looked at him as like he was stupid before coming to a conclusion. “You new here aint ya?”

“Yeah,” He nodded. No harm telling the truth. “What's with the tight security?” He asked again.

He raised a brow. “You didn’t know? Vale got breached by the Grimm.”

Sam expressed a face of shock, though inwardly he was relieved to know what timeline he is in. He guessed he was somewhere in the AU canon.

“Vale got breached?” He said in disbelief.

“You from the frontier villages or something?”

“Something like that, I was wandering around from place to place. I lost my Scroll not too long ago, so I guess I was blind from the world.”

“Ah, understandable. So yeah, Vale got breached. But we managed to win against them with the help of the Ghosts.”

“Ghosts?” He raised a brow. “What do you mean?”

The guard raised another questioning brow before answering. “I guess you must have been blind from the world for some time. Anyways, there's been talks and sights about creatures that looked like Grimm but aren't exactly Grimm. They’ve Grimm-like monsters that attack other Grimm. Strange, I know. Hell, not to mention frigging ghosts and skeletons walking around like the dead just got up and decided to take revenge on the Grimm. That’s the theory though. They are called ‘Wanderers’ by some people, which somehow makes sense since they don’t stay in one place and move around alot.”

Ok now that is absolutely new information.

“I… see… Thanks for telling.”

“No problem, just take care of yourself now.” The guard said before resuming on his patrol.

Sam frowned on the information. While the situation seems to follow as is from the canon, it seems that there are changes to how it has become. Grimm attacking Grimm? Skeletons and ghosts sighted? What the hell is this? Did the magic from the original world begin to return?

There are many new variables he has to watch out for, new unknowns and questions to fill and finding answers. And he has to find those answers.

*Beep!*

-Quest Alert!-

-Objective: Find out what creatures are, and who they come from-

-Time limit: None-

-Reward: 100,000 EXP, 100,000 Lien-

-Bonus: ?-

-Bonus: ?-

-Bonus: ?-

-Bonus: ?

-Failure: Death, enslavement, tortured, erase from existence permanently-

-Quest cannot be declined-

Ok now this kinda piqued his curiosity now greatly. Either fate really wants him to take a really dangerous route that would potentially kill him, or he would find something that would greatly benefit him.

The rewards are quite great, bonuses and all, but the failures are even more concerning. Given that he has no time limit to do so, it would be best to keep this a high priority once he is strong enough.

He groaned in annoyance before dismissing the screen.

He walked around and asked directions to a nearby shop that sells arsenals of different kinds. It didn’t take too long for him to find one.

Entering the shop, greeted by a bulky man who was cleaning a spear.

The man looked at him. “Ah, customer.” He grunted as he was cleaning the tip of the spear. “What can I get you?”

“Uhh, you got any polearms in stock?”

The man scoffs, though it didn’t sound like mocking, before gesturing the spear in his hand. “You're seeing one right now.”

“Well yeah, but not spears. Halberds.”

The man stopped cleaning before raising a brow at him. “A Halberd eh?”

He looked at him closely, up and down before replying. “I’m not entirely sure if that is what you can use, but alright. What kind?”

“Mind if I make one myself?

“5,000 lien for customized, 1,500 for the standard.”

Sam took out exactly 5,000 lien from his inventory and handed it to the man. “The customized one.”

The man took a glance at the lien before nodding. “Forgery is at the back, don’t waste the materials. Else I’ll charge you for that.”

“I won't.” He said firmly before going to the forge room.

The Forge room was neat. Seemingly almost with complete machinery to make any customized weapons… Well, almost any design.

He went to a console with the labeled “Designer”, assuming this was to design whatever weapons he can make, he began to make plans.

He went for the standard issue design of the Halberd before putting up an idea design of gun barrels that would fit into his customized design.

It took half an hour to design the damn thing to his vision, before adjusting and remodifying it when some of the calibrations are wrong. The final result was that it looked similar to a Mechanicus Halberd, but with a barrel in the tip of its between blades.

Then he went on and forged it. Though some of the parts he needed to make it himself, the machine was doing most of the heavy work.

It took quite a long time, but the weapon was done.

The handle was gilded in studs, some parts of the pole was reinforced with another set of steel sheet, and the blade design was similar to the Mechanicus. One side was a very heavy ended sharp blade, while the other side of it was covered in large spikes in a fashion of jagged-edge teeth.

The color of the blade was black, shiny like the night.

(Black Knight Glaive from Dark Souls 3, but with a Mechanicus theme and partially designed to it.)

Weapon Acquired!

Master Forged Glaive

Grade: Rare

Durability: 10,900/10,900

The unique attack of this glaive greatly reduces enemy poise, reflecting the tremendous size of the enemies that the knights have fearlessly faced.

+10 Critical

+30 Physical damage

5% Bleed Chance

Weapon Skill: Spin Sweep - Sweep foes in a large spinning motion, and utilize momentum to transition into an overhanded strong attack.

Sam looked at his newly forged weapon in awe and fascination. He could never imagine himself to be able to design and make the weapon by himself. Machinery not included.

Aside from that, it was the first ever rare item he had obtained since he got reincarnated into this world. It doesn't look much but considering the description of it, its good enough for him currently.

“That's your first make?” He turned around, seeing the blacksmith leaning on the side of the doorway with arms crossed. His expression was stern.

“Yeah.” Sam answered.

“Well, I don't believe you.” The man said as he approached him. “Mind if I take a closer look?”

Sam shrugged and handed him over the glaive. The blacksmith began to examine it closely.

“…Damn brilliant,” The blacksmith muttered under his breath. “No flaws on the blade, the handle gives you good damn comfort, no misalignments to be seen, straight steel, feels balanced… If anything, I’d think of you as a prodigy.”

“Thanks.”

“You be a Huntsman in the future?” He said as he handed him back his newly-forged glaive.

“Yeah, but I’m not seeking to find glory in being one.”

“Oh? What then?” The blacksmith mused, although his tone hinted at curiosity.

“Experience and surviving.” He said honestly. “Sounds stupid, but I’d rather be prepared than not. The world is a cruel place and I’ll be damned if I get myself caught unprepared because I think I’m safe from anything.”

Gained +15 reputation with Slate Steel

‘So that's his name? Huh, seems kinda ironic.’ He mused thoughtfully.

The blacksmith nodded. “Wise words for a kid… Or a man, as you are not any other kid I know about.”

“Try not to mix me with one of them then.” He grinned.

Slate barked a laugh. “Hah, cheeky brat.”

“Mind if I grab another?”

“Hmm?” The man looked at him questioningly. “You want another? Dont you already have that?” He pointed at his glaive.

“Well true… But I’ll be having a gun instead.”

“Didn't you just put one in that thing already?” He raised a brow.

“Well yeah, but this one brings in big booms… I want another that gives precise shots.”

“You could just put that into your weapon right?”

“Point, but I rather not put everything into one. In case this thing breaks, I’d be able to fight with my other weapon.”

“…You really aren’t like them other brats huh.” The blacksmith chuckled as he walked to a pile of unopened boxes. The man casually opened them with a swipe of a hand.

“Take a look.”

The box was full of guns, specifically pistols. There were different types, not to mention some looking kinda like a machine pistol.

Although one managed to catch his eye. “What about this?”

Weapon Gained!

Well-Made Boxkfid

Grade: Uncommon

Durability: 4,720/4,720

+12 Critical

+15 Projectile Damage

5% Chance of Ignoring Armor

“Ah, Boxkfid.” The man nodded, almost sounding pleased at his choice. “Old model, but in perfect condition. Semi-auto with a 10-round box magazine, dust compatible, with a built-in trigger protection in case of obvious shit, has a decent range to 800 meters, compact and can be installed with a wooden stock for shoulder stability and proper aim.”

(Mauser C96)

“…You really know your stuff huh?” ‘Are you related to Ruby Rose?’ That he was about to ask.

“I sell weapons for a reason brat,” The man glared at him. “I care for weapons and how they should be handled. I am a man of my craft, I prefer quality over quantity thank you very much.”

“Then why is there a spear?”

“It looks normal, but you’ll be surprised how much beating it can handle before it breaks.” The man smirked.

“I’ll take your word on that then…” He muttered before grabbing the pistol. “Huh, good grip.”

“If you want it, it's on the house.” Sam looked at him with surprise. “An exception with the 5k bundle on that weapon of yours, really a rare case to see something of good quality these days.” He said roughly before turning towards the pistol in his hand. “The attachments will also go with that.” He added.

“Seems like your giving me a lot.”

“Yeah yeah,” The man waved dismissively. “Just get on with it and be gone. I got a shop to look after and weapons to maintain.”

Once he finished the purchase and acquired some bonus, he left the shop and went to a solitude location and went on to grind in the Dungeon.

New Skill Gained!

(I.D Create - Active) (Level: 1)

This skill allows creating instant dungeons. Stronger instant dungeons may be according to the level.

Monster options:

Zombie

Skeleton

Ghost (Locked)

Orc (Locked)

Golem (Locked)

(Back/Next)

Sam smirked as he eyed on the Zombies and Skeletons in the Dungeon shambling around…

“Time to farm.”

“I got a feeling that the sonofabtch is hunting in Forever Fall…” Lordez grunted.

“And what makes you say that?” Askad questioned.

“Firstly; you mentioned that they should be weak and need to get EXP to level up and get stronger right? So unless this is someone who doesn't know much about RWBY, then we might get lucky.”

“I doubt it,” The multiwalker courier sighed. “Gamers are given tactical choices on which world they get… Well, most of them anyways. The others would either be random or coincidence, but that is not on Gaia’s table to control.

Not to mention that they can go into their personal dimension and farm for materials and EXP until they reach whatever level they want to be.”

“Ain't that cheating? And also, can we find their personal dimension?”

“No,” Askad shook his head. “Not unless we have something that can find it, maybe a WCI but I do not have that… Not unless you do?”

“No, sadly.”

“Then we’re in a hard choice here then.” Askad let out a smoke and sighed. “And besides, Gamers are cheaters. Unbalanced on the system. And besides, do you expect it to be fair?”

“I expected it to be not broken, is what I thought.” Lordez mumbled in annoyance. “Our best bet then is just to wait for my summons to give a status report along with Orm… At least he is located somewhere in Vale.”

“Yeah, the general direction. Makes the thing less of a frustrating job for you.”

“You're lucky I’m here to assist your ass.”

“Aint that right…?” Askad grinned.

The two fell into a comfortable silence of staring at each other before letting themselves fall into short laughter.

“…I’m concerned though.”

“About what?” Askad inquired as he puffed a smoke.

“About whatever might go into this world. I mean, Remnant is not exactly prepared to handle whatever the fuck the universe might throw at them, and I’m not exactly sure we can handle cosmic beings… Hell, I'm also worried what would happen if we might bring in something… bad.”

Askad narrowed his eyes at the thought. True, Gman gave him a memory information about a place called the “Gamer Hub”, a highly-warped dimensional plane reserved for Gamers specifically whilst no one else would be able to enter.

Adding some troublesome shit fire into it, there are also factions within the Gamer society. Most of them would be no doubt hostile to Askad and other Planeswalkers, while the other half would just be in a ‘not good’ line of relationship between them.

Hell, one faction that is the most dangerous and most-well known was the ‘Gamer’s Fleet’. A group of gamers that needed to be avoided at all costs.

A faction consisting of thousands of Gamers, assembled in a fleet that could match anyone - depending on the universe they dropped into.

It was surprising that they didn't destroy any important worlds, planes, dimensions or universes. Otherwise it would just deteriorate the SEAL even more.

Thankfully they are just stuck within the Sandbox universe, on which none of them know they are inhabiting within.

But that is thanks to the two cosmic deities; Gman and Gaia though. Praise be to the eternal treaty that everyone who knew about it, shall hope for it to endure for an eternity.

“Try not to think too much and just focus on getting stronger and prepare…” Askad said. “I know you, Lordez. You’re someone who wants to prepare for the worst to come. And not someone in the idle.”

Lordez chuckled. “You know me well then, Askad…”

“Eh, I only knew you for a couple of years. And besides, at least I’ll be able to deal with missions after I get out of this place.”

“Wait, y-you're going away?” Lordez looked at him, almost sounding sad hearing his spoken words. “Y-You dont like me do you?”

That made Askad sputter out. “W-What!? The fuc- no!” For some reason he could feel heat coming up to his face.

“Ahahahahaha!” Lordez bursted out into extreme laughter. “GOT YOUR ASS!”

“DONT FUCKING DO THAT YOU BASTARD!” Askad exclaimed, feeling embarrassed. “Fucking, hell, you not ashamed on someone hearing you saying that?”

“Ohhhhhh please, I doubted that. I got my senses boosted around the area that I highly doubt someone would be able to go here without getting detected.” Lordez scoffed. “But besides that, it was just a joke dude!” He wheezed.

Askad could have sworn he felt a vein popping on his head. “I swear I would throw you off this god damn cliff right now, and bring in the [Titan Demolisher] on your ass.”

“Threatening me, dude?” He smirked. "We both know that weapon won't do jack to me if you can't hit me with it."

Askad looked at him before letting go and sulking a few meters away from him. "That was the most embarrassing fucking moment in my fucking life…”

"That was entertaining, not gonna lie."

“What the fuck-!?”

"Whoah, jeez. Scared the fuck out of me!" Lordez exclaimed. Placing a hand over his non-beating heart.

"Why not make something that would let us know that you're here when you're stalking damn it!" Askad said as he grunted up from falling out from his seat.

"Oh, I wouldn't call it stalking, I prefer the term ‘observing’." He corrected.

"Yeah right," He snorted. "'Observing' my ass."

"Oh? It seems you are enjoying the mission, should I extend some-"

Askad immediately bowed frantically. "Forgive me! Please don't extend it!"

"Oh, by the way G-man. I've been wondering, is it possible to talk the Gamer out of this? I mean, I don't want to take sides or anything, but can't he just transfer to some-world else?"

"...I believe that won't be possible." Before Lordez could speak, G-man replied. "I know what you're thinking. But apparently that kind of suggestion won't work on specific anomalies such as Gamers."

"But what about the Gamer-Hub that Askad spoke of?" The undead mercenary dropped his humor (which was actually his real expression) and listened to the conversation happening. "Couldn't he just transfer to another world?"

"Well, apparently they wouldn't be able to. Unless they acquired or received some cheatsy power that would enable them to travel to other worlds or dimensions. Gaia had restricted their powers to travel around at least few sections of the Outer-Verse, just like I had restricted my Multiwalkers to only travel when they have removed the anomalies in the worlds they have a job to rid of." He could swear that the voice sighed with frustration on that one.

"It's to avoid chaotic independence of free movement." Askad joined in. "I mean, having powers to travel around the Multiverse, or the Outer-Verse as G-man said so that the members of organizations wouldn't ruin the system of Balance, and the SEAL."

"And how's that working out?" Lordez deadpanned to the both of them.

"Somewhat chaotic," He was not sure if G-man admitted it or not. "But you both will understand later in the future, oh and it seems your bear-lover friend found something."

""...Huh?""

Few minutes earlier . . .

To Orm. . .

“Smell something, Misha?”

The bear took several sniffs before grunting negatively as it shook its head.

The viking sighed. “This is gonna take a while…”

He and Misha have gone down to the south of Vale. Tracking anything out of place. Markings, weapon strikes, tracks, literally anything.

He had summoned Black Wolves to assist him as he had little to no tracking skills or abilities. The Skull Spiders are also there to assist him, so the effectiveness might just be a bump high.

“That bastard better owe me some break time.” Orm grumbled. “I have living needs damn it.”

“Complaining are we, Mr. Hakornasson?”

“GAH!” Orm yelped in surprise. “Fucking hell, Gman right? Oh wait, of course I am.” He replied sarcastically as he recomposed himself.

“Do you dislike your friend much?”

“Hm? No, nothing like that if you were hearing. And besides, you should know it wasn't that of a serious matter.”

The voice chuckled. “Maybe, but sometimes it's better to act rather childish at times.”

“Humor is considerate in some circumstances. A little bit of fun don't hurt much.” He smirked.

“Yet I see, or rather know, that some people who tend to act childish are mature or realistic enough to see around one’s self?”

“That's kinda speaking too deep in thinking, but they can depend…” He muttered.

“Hahahah,” The voice laughed gently. “A hearted mind can lead to some settlement of calmness… But anyhow, I’ll leave you to your work.”

“You brought this shit on us the moment you sent your guy here.” Orm glared.

“Maybe… Maybe not.” The voice sounded amused before switching to a more serious tone. “But other than that, you’re near a [Dungeon].”

“[Dungeon]? The hell is that?” Orm readied his weapons as he felt something... weird brushed over his senses. “He close?”

“Its an alter-realm that is created by Gamers or Gaia-empowered entities. What you felt was its scent, barely noticeable, but it's there. The Gamer is close.”

Orm felt relieved that he finally found the target, yet at the same time excited and anticipated. “So wait, if this [Dungeon] is an ‘ater-realm’ as you say, is it like a personal place that I can't access or what? Like a private world?”

“More or less.” He swore the voice shrugged. How? He doesn't know. “There are other ways to get into the [Dungeon]. One of the easy ways was that you’ll have to get a job as a Multiwalker-“

“Nope, ain't gonna decide on becoming one of your folks.” Orm deadpanned.

The voice chuckled. “Worth a try, but a wise move. Becoming a Multiwalker wouldn't change much of you really, just having some additional benefits when doing some odd jobs for the organization.”

“It's just getting chores from your mess.”

“You may see it like that, but it's a chore that is important should you want to continue existing.” The voice spoke coldy. It didn't sound threatening, but it sounded cold.

‘Perhaps I may have gone in too deep on that one… Yikes.’

“Yes, probably a “yike” from you.”

“Oh yea, forgot you can read thoughts…” Orm mumbled before materializing out a [Scroll of Message]. As he was about to activate the spell, a stray thought of curiosity came to his mind dangerously…

It was something that he wanted to find out… With a risk to take.

“Hey, Gman.”

“Yes?”

“Any chance that you could lead me to the [Dungeon]?”

“Is it by any chance you wanting to take on the Gamer down alone? It is quite risky, I do not know if he is able to gain enough strength to take you down, or-“

“Gentleman, I know…” Orm said calmly. “But if by any chance they are still weak… I want to experience fighting one.” He let out a wild smirk.

“…Very well, but I expect you to not be careless in fighting them. Gamers’ [Status Ability] are quite adaptable to almost any kind of situation. And once I transport you to his [Dungeon], they will know that you are there. I’ll be sealing any possible exit and the [Dungeon] will register you as a Boss, sealing the deal that the Gamer will not be able to leave until they manage to defeat you.”

He winced but nodded. “I’ll take note of that.”

“Brace yourself in 3… 2… 1…”
