So this was a real joy ride. There are more, way more, that came out like this, but this one really goes beyond your expectations. You would've expected this to be nothing more than your standard popcorn flick we are all so used to by now. It was more. MUCH more than I could've imagined!

When the first trailer dropped I was hyped but there was something in the back of my mind telling me that there was going to be something really HUGE that was going to drop that would blow everything, literally everything! My pants, my dick, my brains, everything! Out the fucking window and through the roof. And it did. Sort of.

What I really loved about this was that it had everything you wanted coming in. The fight scenes were great, even though you know you've seen better, this had all the characters you know doing it showing off their special abilities in ways that leaves you satisfied! Punch guy punched hard! Gun girl shot a bunch of shit! The bullshitter bullshitted! It was great. When the intense scenes were getting a little too intense, like you were getting a little uncomfortable because the fights were stretching a bit too long and you were losing interest, you had a little dumb joke thrown in. I loved the part where the guy, the guy was running with everyone and he randomly tripped. This was the final scene where the fate of humanity was determined by this fight and he TRIPPED. Everybody in the theater burst into tears! That was a part I was not going to forget.

Surely this was supposed to be a movie for kids, but they got really down and dirty in that one scene which I'm sure should be illegal, but hey, it's a movie, a work of fiction! Taboo shit like that doesn't make us suddenly awaken a hidden desire in us. I'm sure nobody really put in much thought when that happened. I know it was completely unnecessary and definitely something the kids will be talking about in school to their friends and how they got their first boner, though they didn't show any genitalia, I hope. I'll give them a pass. It was done tastefully too so I'm not a bit upset. I mean, it aroused me. How can I complain?

You can't go passing this movie without talking about the special effects. They were gorgeous! So many explosions here! Green screen there! CGI characters there! My eyes were bleeding halfway, they turned into soup that stained my pants and now I'm partially blind, but I couldn't blink! I was completely mesmerized by the production quality! It was like riding a roller coaster! You were stuck in your seat so deep that you could swear your ass was fusing into the seat, becoming a single being. I'm sure from those scenes alone this will be a huge hit in China.

One thing I found really odd is that one part in the movie where the superhero guy stared at the camera as though he was looking directly at the audience, chanting "Submit to the state," for twenty full minutes. The other people in the audience started chanting as well. I wanted to go take a bathroom break but I had to wait until the whole chanting thing was done because they locked the doors. I guess it was some form of immersion? I couldn't concentrate or chant with the rest of the audience because I had to pee really bad. At least they unlocked the doors once that whole shit was over.

So overall, this was great! It was much more than anything! It had everything you want to see in modern cinema! It had some strange bits but those moments did not take away from the enjoyment you'll get from this movie! I'm going to give this an A+! So what did you think? Comment your thoughts!
