《Can a holy hero be born from such a person?》Chapter 127: The first knight squad base

With Fizumi following Filaurel around to help the first knight squad to extract some information from those that they have captured, she can't help but to feel a little bit curious about the base
Since she was born from Azumi, part of Azumi own memories have been transferred to her, while incomplete, she still managed to recognise this building, and that's why she doesn't have any difficulty in finding this base in the first place. Still, Azumi himself haven't "explore" much in the bases because of two reasons, he doesn't belong here and also those curiosity was burned out the moment he met Aurora (initially) and also Kane (currently).
As she float around just behind Filaurel, the unapproved aura of Kane can be clearly felt radiating to his surroundings but Filaurel just ignore that and continue to see the base.
"This is larger compare to the one in Mesembryanthemum" [Fizumi]
"Naturally" [Filaurel]
Soon after they exit the base, opposite to the direction that Fizumi come from, they walk for another distance and after a short while, they arrive at the prison
"?" [Fizumi]
"What's wrong Fizumi?" [Filaurel]
"Why does your base so close to prison, thought you guys are an elite" [Fizumi]
"Sir Azumi doesn't tell you anything?" [Filaurel]
"No, plus can't recollect any of it from his memory" [Fizumi]
"I see, well how about you ask Captain Aurora or Vice Captain himself, I'm sure you will find the answer interesting" [Filaurel]
"Hmphh, don't think I will ever be grateful to him, it's only obvious a commoner should help us when needed" [Kane]
"Wasn't it the other way around?" [Fizumi]
"Why you!" [Kane]
"?" [Fizumi]
Filaurel just let out a small laughter as she couldn't hold her laughter seeing the two conversation
(Vice captain being tsundere as usual) [Filaurel]

Once they arrive at the gate Infront of the prison, the guard recognise the two but not Fizumi, but Kane himself say it's alright to let Fizumi enter and personally pledge that she is not dangerous and can be trusted
"Thank you" [Fizumi]
"Hmphh, that's the least I can do to show my appreciation for you helping us" [Kane]
(Tsundere) [Filaurel]
With that, they enter the prison and straight away goes to the lowest floor of the underground prison. There, the prisoner of politics, and those that commit the most heinous crime are placed
"Where is Lady Grais and the other?" [Fizumi]
"Well, they haven't commit any crime and Princess Alfin herself stand for them thus they are being held somewhere safer just like in a detention center back then" [Filaurel]
"It's too early to say that they are innocent if you ask me" [Kane]
"I trust Master important person decision" [Fizumi]
((Plus, the fact that she is a Bangkit haven't been told to anyone, that's that)) [Filaurel, Fizumi]
As they descend downward, the atmosphere become heavier and heavier. Fizumi notice this and she quickly envelope herself with a blanket of mana to shield herself, noticing it, Kane and Filaurel comments
"To think that the guard forgot to give you the ring to neglect the effect, I should scold them next time!" [Kane]
"Well, we don't get too many visitors in the first place, here Fizumi, you can use a spare of mine" [Filaurel]
"No need to, it will not affect me much" [Fizumi]
"You really are his Doppelganger" [Filaurel]
The prison have many mechanism to prevent any escapee, from the traditional method of rail and putting a plate of steel underneath the ground as to prevent anyone digging out, to the use of technology and magic. And one such example is the anti magic air, where anyone other than the one that's currently wearing the ring will have their mana suck out outside. This causes any prisoner that wanted to escape to consume more mana should they managed to unbind the anti magic set that have been placed onto them.

But Azumi and Fizumi? They understand clearly how it works and how to manipulate it, and with their enormous mana, they can simply neglect the effect by their own without the need of such ring
"Just wear it! Unless you are in the cell or wearing this ring, it will continuously dried out your mana" [Kana]
"Understood" [Fizumi]
Fizumi just accept the ring given by Filaurel and quickly wear it
"Hmphh, atleast you are more tolerable than he is" [Kane]
and they arrive at one of the room, after knocking and getting the permission to enter the room from Aurora, the heavy atmosphere disappear
"Fizumi, what are you doing here?" [Aurora]
"Well, let me explain" [Kane]

The Programmer's Dungeon [Progression, LitRPG]
Vincent, a college student from Earth, has been transported to another world full of strange powers and fantastic monsters. Ideally, this would be the start of his journey to become a legendary hero, build an everlasting empire, and gather a personal harem. But no one said that this new world would be easy… After escaping an assassination that accidentally befell him, he was forced to become a Dungeon Master. What will an average programmer student do when he finds out that he can code the dungeon? Vanquish those savages above with his tech and savviness — along with an army of golems? “Wait, this world isn’t even medieval?!” With all the questions piling up in his head, Vincent is set to uncover all these secrets! And… conquer the world, perhaps? The hard reboot of “The Programmer’s Dungeon.” It has an almost completely different plot, cast, and storyline, so expect tons of improvement from the old one. Disclaimer: This is a softcore LitRPG story; there are stats but no levels. Also, the LitRPG element isn’t the main focus of the story itself and is more of a support. I have enabled the reader’s suggestion, and therefore, you can correct any grammar mistakes and typos you find in the story. There will definitely be some that I miss. Cheers! The cover was made by Jack0fheart, so a shout-out for him. Releasing 3 chapters per week at 12.00 GMT on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday with at least 2000+ words. Keepers of the Neeft
The Indigo Empire has conquered half the world’s nations, their people, and their gods. According to its citizens, old and new, the rest of the world will follow. In the capital of the Throne-home, the Imperial Academy produces the next generation of great leaders to drive that expansion. Cadryn Bence knows he will be one such leader, he’s overcome his common birth, mixed heritage, and every other obstacle to be the top of his class. He dreams of glory on the southern front against the Gravanik States. He will not be finding it. Instead, if the glory he expects. Far to the north, lies the unassumingly named North-Eastern Extreme Frontier Tower, a backwater post if ever there were one. Through the machinations of the Emperor’s state religion, and a cult within it, Cadryn will find himself on his way to this first assignment. On the frontier, Cadryn will discover that neither his campions, nor the Neeft itself, are what he expects. Follow Cadryn on his journey to discover many truths: about himself, about the Empire, and about the very world he call home. ****** Keepers of the Neeft is a (bit dark) fantasy story revolving around Cadryn and his journey of discovery. There’s a fairly wide cast of supporting characters (his fellow Keepers) all with their own reasons and motivations behind how they came to be at the Neeft. Current release plan is to have part 2 completed, then fully edit up till the end of part 2. I am in the process of editing the earlier content as I complete the updates/re-writes. Apologies for any rough content in the meantime. My primary objective with Keepers of the Neeft is to work on developing content flow and establishing a community of people who enjoy my writing style. I write SF/F and horror as my primary genres, Keepers is actually my 3rd novel length work, but my current project. Updates of new Content will currently be in the form of one larger post on Tuesdays.
