Pegasus are quite a careful creature, just like unicorn, the same horse monster, they tend to cover their tract, whether a physical one or a magical tract, and the presence of those tracks can mean a few things, the pegasus are simply young and careless, the pegasus run away in panic due to the presence of such a powerful creature that covering their track aren't important or they simply doesn't have the chance to do so as they are ordered by their rider to leave the area immediately
