After two day of rest, Azumi along with Alfin and Angeline went and see Kucin, as she have her B rank examination being supervised by the capital guild master Karonlir, and Kucin opponent is an A rank adventure, Kronbir, the son of Karonlir

As Kucin have passed every other exam that is needed to proceed to B rank, the only test left is to have a sparing battle to gauge her ability, which is without a doubt one of the most definitive requirements needed to become a B rank adventure

Well, she have to prove herself as she's skipping a grade as recommended by Mrs Kirthiga and also by the Duke's Hiaccio family

As the ranking goes by the adventure guild system

SS - Saga, only one person can hold the title at one time

S - legend, currently 10 people are holding this rank

A - Expert

B - veteran

C - Experience

D - average

E - learned

F - novice

G - learner

I - newbies

Basically, right now she's aiming for the veteran spot at the age of 17 years, nearing 18 years old and that's quite an impressive feat for an adventure

And with how nervous Kucin right now, Alfin calmed her down when Kronbir enter and greet her with such enthusiasm that it pisses her off

"Kucin! You are looking extra beautiful today, well let just get some sweat right off the bat shall we!" [Kronbir]

"You pervert! I will make sure you stop treating the newbies girl adventure once and for all!" [Kucin]

"Now that's the spirit that I have come to love! Well I can't wait for us to start the battle that will shake the earth and heaven itself!" [Kronbir]

"Yeah! I really will shake that brain of your!" [Kucin]

"Well, goodluck Kucin knocking down that boyfriend of yours" [Azumi]

Azumi teases Kucin, knowing how she hated him

"He's NOT and will never be one!" [Kucin]

"Good luck Sis Kucin!" [Angeline]

"Do your best!" [Alfin]

"Princess Alfin, please cheer for me as well...ouch!" [Kronbir]

"Just get yourself in position" [Karonlir]

Karonlir knock Kronbir head, asking his son to be serious

With that, the two adventure take their position and Karonlir give the signal to start, and as soon as he does, Kucin jump straight ahead to Kronbir with her claw weapon imbued in four elements of magic

As she slices Kronbir cloth, Kronbir bring out his two hammer weapon and imbued it with wind magic on his right hand and earth magic on left, and he swing his earth hammer into the ground, creating large crack and forcing Kucin to retreat backward, and as she does that, another attack come, this time from the wind hammer as a forceful blow from the wind hammer hit her, knocking her backward. To neutralise it, she erected an earth wall magic, but Kronbir doesn't give a the slightest of chance, as he simply throw the earth hammer, instantly breaking Kucin earth wall defense before calling back his weapon with magnetic magic

Seeing this, Kucin started to chant elemental arrow magic and play it safe by attacking Kronbir from a distance, and as she does that, Kronbir have a hard time countering and also defending her attack, but as an A rank adventure, he managed to adapt rather quickly and begin his own counterattack

He slam the ground with both of his hammer, creating a large floating boulder and as he drive those boulder toward Kucin, Kucin with her acceleration magic simply dodge it, but Kronbir, one step ahead of her, throw both of his weapon to both Kucin right and left side, so that either of his hammer will land a clean hit to her

(I will not fall for such a trick again!) [Kucin]

Kucin, having fight a battle with twin hammer user and also the guy suspected from ADA which had launched the same pattern of attack toward her in the past, quickly react, this time, she uses a strong gust magic to slow down the hammer speed before grabbing the earth hammer and slammed it towards Kronbir direction, attacking Kronbir with a force of earth magic

Taken back a bit, Kronbir quickly called back his wind hammer and create a forceful vacuum Infront of him to negate Kucin's attack before calling back his earth hammer, as he does that, Kucin are also being pulled along but that's what she wanted to, as she imbued herself with excessive fire mana, making her own body akin to that of a fire arrow mana to target Kronbir, and just before it hit Kronbir, she let go of the hammer and the fire magic hit Kronbir

As to properly finish Kronbir off, she create a wall of earth surrounding Kronbir with a tiny opening before firing a flamethrower magic which squeeze it way through the small hole, burning Kronbir alive

But that wasn't enough to stop the A ranked adventure, Kronbir with his earth hammer destroy the earth wall, and with his wind hammer, he hit the air behind him, creating a powerful pressure of air which proper her towards Kucin before swinging Kucin with full force with his earth hammer! It hit Kucin abdomen, a direct clean hit which almost make Kucin passed out, before Karonlir stopped the match

The guild healer quickly heal both the participants.
