Once Azumi went outside of the wall of the capital by sneaking out past the guard (as he want his departure time to be a secret), he started to aply those spell to himself

The first three magic are used to increase his overall speed as time is of essence and he want to get all the information he could as soon as possible.

The enhance reflex is needed as he travel at a high speed and a good motor reflex will help him in various way, but mostly he uses it to avoid any unnecessary injury due to avoidable accident

Lastly vigor magic to keep himself energize throughout the journey. He also use his search magic to scout the area Infront of him

With a frightening speed, he start to run, with Mesembryanthemum as the first goal. Just as Mrs Usagina travel ahead from the group of knight, he's doing the same, but since his final destination is the Holy Kingdom of Aster and conserving mana and stamina is also an important factor to be consider, he lowered down his speed a little

(Hmm... at this speed, I can arrive around 5 to 6 hour, not bad) [Azumi]

While traveling solo have it own advantage, mainly reducing the travel time needed to reach one destination, traveling in group provides a sense of security and also it doesn't get bored with a companion to keep you entertained.

With the night breeze becoming stronger and stronger, Azumi use it to his advantage, as the month of fall causes increase in power in wind mana and magic, his tailwind magic is further boost up. His feet barely touches the ground, not like he is using his levitation magic, but the tailwind magic just make it look like so as he run. Whenever he touches the ground, he propel himself strongly, using earth mana to make a soft but firm foot holding so that his feet won't hurt in a long run

As there are barely if not there is no one expects him that will travel in the middle of the night, what's more travelling solo, he decided to just stick to the highway as it will be faster rather than concealing himself, plus taking the old road or forest in the middle of the night is dangerous, sure he can simply defeat anything that come to him, but avoiding such confrontation in the first place is far better

Around three hours after his departure, he arrive at that scene

He stop using his magic and stand Infront of Ray and Mile parents graves. Taking a deep breath, he first sit down before having a one sided conversation with both of them

"Sorry for not doing this last time, Alfin and my students might get attacked by the church and also the dark guild people, we call them ADA, and as such I have to make those selfish decision just to protect them" [Azumi]

To his apologies, as expected, there's no answer coming out from the grave, it's just a one sided conversation

"About Ray and Mile, don't worry about them, they are doing just fine, a good family have adopted them and they love the both of them as if they are their own family" [Azumi]

Azumi let out a small laugh

"Though their mother is a little bit of a scary lady, nonetheless she is a good person and also an old companion of mine, as such I can vouch for her being a good mother, she's trying her best" [Azumi]

Azumi then stand back up, open his item box and let out a bouquet of flowers, being in this line of work where someone can leave them forever anytime, he always have those flower ready as to make sure he can pay them a proper respect

"Well, I have to go now, sorry if the conversation is a little bit short, but don't worry, I will come back from this job safely. And I promise not only will I protect them, I will make sure they grew up to become an upstanding member of society" [Azumi]

Just as he turn around and about to activate his magic

Hearing two voices, one a male and another one belonging to a female , he quickly turn around and activate his search magic but to no avail, there's no one there. He recoup back himself quickly and

He let out both a sigh and a laugh

He continued his journey
