Two day before the departure to the northen part of the kingdom, Mesembryanthemum, Kucin are currently on her way to take her new claw weapon from the smith guild. She knew a number of great smithy around the capital but it is great to make a request from the smithy guild itself so that the work of the smith can be known, sure there are extra fees by going through this process but she thought it would be better as the smith that she frequently visit have help her a lot in the past.

"Hello Mr Al, is my claw weapon ready?" [Kucin]

(A slave merchant targeting the beast race, i better inquire it at the guild)

In the world where the non human race are generally look down and feared by the human race, there are some merchant who like to enslave those races, some noble would keep them as a pet, other just love to hunt them down, thinking that it is like a sport. King Edward have banned such cruelty to the beast race and it's really effective but only on the capital, outside the capital, the beast race are still struggling from this prejudice. Sure the law have been enforced but bad people and their thinking would always find a way.

Unlike knight which mostly are comprised of noble, adventure have taken a like to the beast race, they are generally a well behaved and kind race and frequently help them if the adventure find themselves on a tight spot, so in return the adventure would do the same, and they would usually band together to take out any form of oppression towards them

Princess Alfin, The first squad and the hero Azumi are also known as the one that openly opposed such action and thus they are feared by them. Infront, the noble, merchant, and people who have strong prejudice will cower. That is another reason why Kucin have taken a liking to them

On the way to the guild, Kucin meet two familiar figure, sneaking from behind, she want to launch a suprise attack but

"Azumi, you meanie, don't do that to Kucin, poor Kucin, are you alright?" [Alfin]

"Yes, i am fine, ughhh..." [Kucin]

"Kahkahkah, I am sorry Kucin, but it is also your fault for trying to sneak behind us" [Azumi]

"but that no reason to frighten her" [Alfin]

"oh, but you will happily do that to me though" [Azumi]

"right, sorry Kucin, as an apology, I will give you this cake" [Azumi]

Azumi proceed to take a slice of banana cake, Kucin favourite cake from his item box, Kucin accept the cake while sulking, she puffed her cheek as she eat as a sign of to show she is angry but to Alfin, that action is really cute and she can't help but giggled a bit

"Are you guys going to the adventure guild?" [Kucin]

"Don't talk while you are eating, that is a bad manner" [Alfin]

"yes we are" [Azumi]

"Azumi! Don't reply, let her eat first" [Alfin]

After finish eating the slice of banana cake, the three of them go to adventure guild, Alfin explain that she got the info that a slave merchant have appear and thus she would like to consult the matter with Karonlir. Kucin share the information that she got to Alfin and Azumi

At the guild master room

"I see, so there is a chance that we will meet those bastard on our way to Mesembryanthemum" [Azumi]

"precisely, i have the other adventure look into other area as well, but for the northern part, I would like to leave it to Kucin as she would join you guys on the expedition" [Karonlir]

"I accept this job, there is no way i would leave those guy free" [Kucin]

"that aside, how about other adventure that will follow us Sir Karonlir?" [Alfin]

"Actually, I have contacted the guild master of Mesembryanthemum and she said it is better to get the help of adventure from her side" [Karonlir]

"I see now, well if you and Mrs Kirthiga said so" [Alfin]

"Well, those adventure from Mesembryanthemum know the area better, oh and Kucin, i would like you to take the request of subjugating the giant mammoth as well as capturing those slave merchant, so do your best" [Karonlir]

"Yes, I will" [Kucin]
