After the short lovely conversation between the daughter and the father, princess Alfin and Azumi make her way to the library, situated just outside of the castle

once they exit the gate, they are greet by the guard and one of the guard hand over a book to Princess Alfin

"is this the book syllabus for magic subject?"

"yes, it's for the new student that will enroll this year"

Alfin begin to flip the book, seeing again the content of the textbook, this has became a routine for her at the start of every year since she want the teacher at the academy to teach the latest thing in every subject

she then give the book to Azumi

"that was fast"

"well, it is a basic thing, plus just imagining the fresh enthusiastic look of those children craving to learn pump my spirit even higher"

"most of them have the look craving for food though"

"then i will slowly change it to craving to knowledge"

"still, can I really have the word on this? Aren't you the great scholar here"

"Did i have to repeat this every time? I might be a scholar but you aren't half bad yourself plus you literally have affinity to all type of magic and the way you use magic as compare to everyday adventure or knight is beyond good"

"But what if i give a wrong input and because of me they will become dumb?"

"no, that won't happen!"

Azumi reluctantly agreed, still, as Princess Alfin mentioned, this is only the basic of magic, so even someone like him can say something about it

magic - a phenomenon that happen when you directly pour your magical energy into yourself or your environment to make a certain change

it is affected not only by the magical energy (mana) pour by the user, but also the knowledge of the user on the element use, the affinity to that element, the season, the willpower, the magic circle usage and various minute thing

currently, the magic of the world are made up of 7 basic elements, and other elements are said to be the derivative or the higher variant of those particular element

those 7 element are fire, water, earth, wind, time, space, mirage

as mentioned before, there are other variant such as lighting, a combination of high wind magic and space, or ice a higher variant of water, darkness and light derive from element of time and space itself

there are also some element like physics which mainly affect the mind, flora to control the plant and fauna to control one own body or other being that are not fully understood but they are believe to be derive mostly from mirage

while it is believe that a person can use all element in theory, they are bound by their own affinity to those particular element, those affinity was set at birth but can be change through training, magic circle, magic tool and also some major life experience, for example, those who love to play with the rain every day might later have a higher affinity to water. the event of someone born with affinity to all element are very rare and it was said that less than 50 people have it throughout the history

while most simple magic can be use without a chant, the use of chant can increase the power of the spell as it reinforces the willpower of the person

futhermore, magic circle are also mostly unnecessary for simple magic and some great magician doesn't even need to use magic circle to use a higher spell

still, the usage of magic circle have it own benefit, as magic circle make the magic stronger and uses less mana as compared to one without it

magic circle can be made on the spot by pouring one own mana into a shape of a circle and the mana must be compatible with the spell use otherwise the effect must be detoriate, for example if one want to use the magic of fire, the mana that is pour to make the magic circle must be fire mana

another type of magic circle is the one prepare beforehand, they are drawn into any canvas with any ink and any material can be added to make it stronger. This make it easier to use any magic element that one have low affinity with, to make it stronger you can use use material that have higher affinity to those particular element, for example using canvas of fire and red ink pour with fire mana and adding fire magic core will amplify the power

as for magic tool, please refer another book since they're a vast topic on its own
