Lee was at the verge of a murdering spree. Three days. Three unbelievably long and horrible days! Having to listen to Will complaining how long the trip was. How his feet hurted. How he couldn't wait to sleep in a really bed. Maya thought it was ''cute''and ''funny''. God love do blind, doesn't it!? The only thing that was keeping Lee sane was the fact that they were almost there. They reached Boroks' borders this moring so in the afternoon she will be able to finally relax in her room. Her room. She didn't step a foot in her room since three years ago. She wondered if they gave it to another scholar. Keeping an empty room for that long was not really efficient after all. Maybe he kept it for her... Oh god, she really was exhausted, wasn't she? To think that he would still wait for her... After what she did? Come on girl, you know better...

Maya was back on Phantom. Will did insist greatly, what kind of prince charming would he be if he let her princess walk while he was on his horse? When Maya saw how Lee was trying not to kill the man, she agreed. She thought he was funny. And cute too. Yes he was complaining a little, but it was understandable, she was getting tired of all this travelling too. But atleast soon she will be back home... Three years that she left. She wondered how her parents were doing. And her sister too, she was sixteen years now... The age Maya was when she got ''kidnapped'' by Vi... 'Are they really missing me? Maybe they forgot about me... No let's not think about this.' When she will be back, they will be really happy to see her... right?

When they stopped for lunch, Will was so glad to finally be able to relax his feet for a bit. Do you imagine? Three days! Walking! That was not an acceptable way of transportation for a prince! And he couldn't spend all the time on his horse. Her princess needed to relax too. Her princess... At least he hoped she was. She was funny and smart, but also a powerful sorcerer. Did a girl like her would fall for a guy like him? Of course she would! He is the great Prince Will Goldhill! His knight in shining armor! 'But she saved you, not the other way around... Yes, she did save me, so that means she loves me, right?... Right!?'

They reached their destination in the middle of the afternoon. They were greated by the Principal of Lee's school. The same Principal Maya's father talked to. ''Lee Currie? Is that really you? Oh dear, finally!''

''Hi Principal. Yes it took longer than I originally thought, but we did it! We also had to make a small detour to help Prince Goldhill here.''

''It took, what, three years? Atleast that much. Being surrounded by magic this whole time most have been hard, Lee. Well now that you have solved this problem of hers, you can resume your studies here any time you want.''

Maya looked a bit hurt after what the Principal said. It was odd how he said the word 'problem' while looking at Maya. But it was not the time to wonder about that. What they needed now was a bed and a bath!

''Is there any guest rooms available?'' Lee asked. ''We desperatly need a good night sleep.''

''Oh of course! I can get you a nice little room for you two...''

''Hum'' Will interupted ''I think seperate rooms would be more apropriate, Sir.''

''You are such a gentleman, Prince Goldhill.''

''We just met'' Maya argued ''I also think it's the normal thin gto...''

''Right this way my Royal guests!''

The Principal lead Will and Maya to their rooms, leaving Lee alone with Phantom. She sighed, took the leash and went to find the stable. Phantom needed some caring after all this travelling. She asked if someone could bring their belongings to the Prince and Princess for her, she felt too exhausted to transport everything there. One of the scholar kindly accepted and carried everything back to the royal guests.

When Lee reached the door of her room, she took a deep breath before entering. She was getting ready to do some cleaning. After three years, there will have lots of dusts around here. But when she opened the door, she was greeted with her room nice and clean. Exactly how she left it three years ago. ''How is that even possible?'' She asked herself outloud.

''I did the cleaning for you while you were away.''

Lee jumped and turned around. She didn't hear anyone come in and it really scared her. She also knew who was talking. She could never forget this voice. There he was, in her doorframe, with his hands up in a surrending way... Adam. He looked at her and said ''Sorry...''

He looked exactly the same as three years ago, but he had small white strands of hair that wasn't there before. Her heart skipped a beat,but not only because of the jump scare... She never stopped loving him after all this time. And he cleaned his room as well... ''Why?''

''I didn't mean to scare you...''

''No, i mean, why did you clean my room for all this time?''

''Because I...'' He stepped inside the room, making Lee walk backwarda bit. He stopped in the middle of the room, not knowing what to do.

''Well... thanks.''

''You're welcome... I... I should let you rest, you made a long journey back here. It was nice seeing you again, Lee.''

As he turned and reached the door, Lee felt desperatly alone. She didn't want to give him false hope, but she missed him... so much. ''Wait!... How have things be around here while I was away? ''

''You really want to talk? I won't mind if you want to get some sleep.''

''I don't mind. Please stay...''

They both sat on the bed, Adam sat at the complete opposite way, he remembered how she always felt unconfortable in bed when they were dating. He never really understood why, but now he thougth he did.

They talked for a few hours and eventually, Lee fell asleep. He smiled, covered her with her bedsheet and left the room. He will have to ask her about his hypothesis of why she ended their relationship so abrutly three years ago. Tomorrow probably he will. For now she needed rest.

*Meanwhile,in the guest rooms*

''Here we are!'' The Principal said ''Oh and the two rooms are connecting, in case you want to.... Have a great stay!''

Will and Maya looked at each other with a raised eyebrow. This guy was weird. Has they were about to go inside their respective rooms, a scholar walked by and gave them their belongings. They thanked him greatly and the scholar said that Lee would pass by to show them around tomorrow.

Maya went into her room and looked around. There was a huge bed again'st the wall on her left and a door on the left and right wall. The door on the left lead to a small bathroom, so that meant the door on the right lead to... She knocked on the door and Will opened it.

''The bed is HUGE!'' Will exclaimed while opening the door.

''I know right! I mean my bed was not even that big!''

Maya ran and jumped on Will's bed, he joined her and they both jumped on it. After two or three minutes of non-stop jumping, they layed back down on the bed, catching their breath. Will flipped on his side and looked at Maya : ''Thanks for saving me.''

''Well you also tried to save me'' Maya said rolling on her side too''I wanted to do what you would have done for me too.''

''Yeah, but you were not in danger... I was. And I put you in even more danger because of that.''

''You didn't know that back then. You charged at a giant dragon to save us, Will! It was dangerous to do that.''

Will rolled back on his back and smiled at the memory. ''It was pretty cool, right?''

Maya laughed and also rolled on her back. ''Yeah, it was. Lou was sooo mad at you!''

They both laughed and talk about their past, their future and othe rthings until they both fell asleep, Maya definitly not resting her head on Will's chest. And that's not what Lee saw when she came in the next morning to show them around. The scholar reached to the conclusion that it was better to let them sleep. She also had a conversation to have with someone... He deserved to know the truth after all. She left the two lovebirds and headed back to look for Adam.

She found him were he always have been in the mornings : in a small booth at the back of the big librairy. She took a deep breat hto build up her confidence a bit and walked fast to him before she could change her mind. When she was close enough, she noticed that there was only papers on the desk and no books. He was visibly struggling to write something. It was odd, why would he be writing something without any references? ''Can I help you with your writing?''

Adam jumped on his chair and tried to quickly hide whatever he was doing.

''Heeeeyyy... Lee?''

''That's my name. Why are you acting so strangely?''

He sighed deeply and brushed his hands on his face. He looked stressed and embarrassed. His hair and outfit was a mess. 'That is unusual and kind of lovely too' Lee thought. She shook those thoughts away and sat on the chair beside the messed up scholar. They both looked at each other akwardly, they wanted to talk but both didn't know how to start. Lee decided to go for the most obvious question ''Why didn't you want me to see what you were working on? We used to help each other with everything...''

''Oh it's nothing really... well not nothing but... It's... I... was trying to find a way to talk about what happened between us... in our... relationship. How it ended so abruptly.''

All the tension that was building up in Lee eased up. He wanted to talk about it as much as she wanted to. She said how she felt bad for ending it and then leaving for so long right after. She didn't know her 'mission' would last that long. She never wanted to hurt him, but she felt like she wasn't able to make him happy and decided to end the relationship before it worsen. It was the logical thing to do.

Adam nodded, but told her that at the same time, feelings and love are not a logical thing. He felt like he was always doing something wrong and he thought that he wasn't making her happy and loved. When she ended it, he kept thinking about what he could have done to make it better. He thought about the time they spent together alone and he noticed something, he made an hypothesis and wanted to check if it was right ''Lee, are you.... asexual?''

''I... I am. How did you know about it?''

''I read a lot while you were away.''

She nodded in agreement, that made perfect sense ''I still loved you so much, but I knew deep inside me I would never be able to give you what you want... I didn't want to make you waste your time on me. That's why I... broke up with you. But I still regret it... I mean I even made a list of the things that I would be able to... do, to make you happy and...''

''Okay now slow down, Lee. The only thing I ever wanted was to be with you...''

''But I don't want to get intimate with people... It repulse me to only think about it. I'm not stupid, I know you will eventually want... more. So, here it is. ''

She then handed him her list, looking at her feet. Adam took it an dbarely looked at it before throwing it away along with his discarded papers. He put his hand under Lee's chin and gently lifted up so she would look at him. ''Or we could go with things as they go. That is if you want to try again to be with me?''

Lee smiled and gave him a big hug. She felt to great in his arm. He smiled and laughed lightly.

''I will take that as a yes then. And hugs are okay also, I'm taking good note of that.''

They stayed in this embrace between a few second or an eternity, either way it was not long enough when they broke apart. They pressed their forehead agaisn't each other, he looked in her eyes and ask if she could give her a small kiss, when he felt her stiffened, he pullher back in a hug and whispered ''No kisses, only hugs. That's fine by me.''

''You sure?''

''Of course I am. You're not weird or broken. It's fine''

They talked a bit more about sweet nothings until Lee thought that she should go back to see Maya and Will. They will have to be able to walk around the city without a guide to find food and their rooms.

They both showed the Royals around and they quickly found their ways around. About three days later, they were in a small restaurant of the city when they heard screaming in the streets. Lots of people seemed panicked and scared. They all looked at each other. Will put Maya behind him and they all headed outside to see what was happening. What they saw made Adam freak out, Will and Maya laugh and Lee pinch the bridge of her nose. A big black and green dragon landed in the central place of the city. The dragon sinked back to a human form has a warrior in red clothing jumped out of their back. Everyone was looking at the intruders, not knowing what to do. Lee stepped up and exclaimed loudly ''Everything is fine! They are friends... You can go back to your normal activities now! ''

She turned to Vi and Lou and scowlded them ''Did you really have to come here in your dragon form? What if they attacked you thinking you were trying to destroy the city?''

''Do you even have weapons here? And no words doesn't count as weapons.'' Lou teased.

''Oh you would be suprise how a book to the face can hurt Lou!''

''Nice to see you too'' Vi said trying not to laugh. ''Speaking of books, here's what I brought you.''

Lee snatched the backpack full of knowledges, mumbled and thank you and headed back to the others. They all greeted each others and headed back to Lee's rooms.
