Chapter 37: Baku’s Results
(Setting: Crystal Kingdom: Royal Center- Royal Chamber)
(Scene: Baku appears in front of the Royal Family)
[Royal Guards]: *in unison* Now presenting, the young master Baku Cree!
*Baku enters the Royal Chamber with a confident look on his face, early this Monday morning ready for school. Looking fresh with his teeth brushed, uniform iron pressed, free of lint and strings. He stands with his back straight and chest out, making his presence and appearance dominant and full of youthfulness. Attached to his side, is Baku’s signature doll, still smiling, still unnamed.
*Hanging down his neck, was his Aventurine Crystal, attached to his mother's golden necklace that was gifted to him on his fifteenth birthday. The day he became the World Guardian. His family awaiting him sitting atop of their thrones, happy to see him after their long and busy weekends.
[Baku Cree]: Good morning, royal family. Whoa Mom, look at you! You got a throne and everything! Sitting next to the king like a little dictator, you look quite magnificent!
[Nicolatrice Cree]: *Smiling* Good morning, master Baku! You're looking well and healthy today! Did you have a great weekend training and studying?
[Baku Cree]: *Confidently* Indeed I did! I feel like an overall evolved person!
[Nicolatrice Cree]: *Smiling* Oh yaaay! *Clapping happily*
[King Jeremiah Cree]: *Hmph* So you've gotten stronger, and smarter, huh? Well, Prince Majorku, has he truly gained mastery of his Aventurine Crystal?
[Prince Majorku]: Well, I wouldn’t say complete mastery, however he's been able to show the ability to communicate with his crystal and establish a strong connection with his Soul Energy.
[Baku Cree]: You guys wanna see something cool? Crystal... Gauntlets!
*Baku spawns a pair of large golden gauntlets crested with glowing green crystals on the knuckles.
[Royal Guards]: Whoa... Geez... Bet ya that packs a punch!

[King Jeremiah Cree]: Hm... Impressive…
[Princess Savannah]: *Smiles flirtingly* …
[Nicolatrice Cree]: Wow! Go Baku! *Clapping happily*
[Baku Cree]: *Confidently* Hehe, how about this? Crystal... Boots!
*Baku spawns a pair of large golden boots. These kicks are designed similar to the gauntlets with crystals studded along the edges, extra shiny as they glow in the light of the throne room of the royals.
[Royal Guards]: *Whistle*
[Nicolatrice Cree]: *Giggles excitedly* Nice shoes, sweetie!
[King Jeremiah Cree]: Hm... Only one of the pairs at a time? What about the armor?
[Prince Majorku]: He hasn't figured out how to create the armor yet. We plan on focusing on that in our next training session... Also, about the equipping of the boots and gauntlets at the same time, my theory is that we must find a way to unlock his deeper reserves of his Soul Energy so that he may tap into more of his power in order to acquire new skills and abilities. I believe he'll need to do this so he can also equip his armor, it may require more energy than he has currently.
[King Jeremiah Cree]: I see... Well at least he has the basics down, even if he still has much to learn, the fact that he can equip two of the three sets only after a single weekend with such ease is quite an amazing feat in of itself. Listen, young guardian, your Mid-Term Exams start next week! Just how smart are you feeling?
[Baku Cree]: Well, before yesterday I didn't know that two plus two was four.
[King Jeremiah Cree]: .........
[Baku Cree]: But in all seriousness, I think I'm doing better, my tutors have taught me in ways that my original teachers never could. I'm actually kind of excited. *Confidently* I know I'm going to pass my classes.

[King Jeremiah Cree]: You seem more confident since the last time we spoke, son. Also, your posture looks redefined as well. Did the butlers and maids get a hold of you at some point?
[Baku Cree]: The crazy intense training I've been doing with Prince Majorku made my body get all tense and sore on the first day. But after I gotten used to it, I felt stronger, taller and wider, if that makes any sense. I'm not ever gonna be like my mom, but this whole standing up straight thing makes me feel pretty good!
[King Jeremiah Cree]: Good, I'm pleased to see that you are slowly evolving into becoming the young man we need you to become. So, your Mid-Terms are coming up, and the Crystal Dome Games are right after that. If what you're saying is true about being confident in the skills you've obtained, then the remainder of the month should go by smoothly up until your departure. Also, remember that you still need to be briefed on what your quest will consist of. We are working hard to gather all of the information we need so we can fully prepare you for your journey on Planet Eternia.
[Baku Cree]: Cool stuff, just remember not to work yourselves too hard!
[King Jeremiah Cree]: *Hmph* *Smiling* Very well then, I believe it’s time for the children to go to school?
[Princess Savannah]: *Swiftly grabs Baku's hand* *Smiling* Are you ready to go, little brother?
[Baku Cree]: *Nervous* Uh, yeah, let's go. See ya later, mom!
[Nicolatrice Cree]: Have a great day at school, Baku!
*Baku and Princess Savannah leave the royal chamber.
[King Jeremiah Cree]: What are you going to do today, Prince Majorku?
[Prince Majorku]: I'm going to meditate until Baku returns from school. Then we are going to train more. Is there anything else you need from me, father?
[King Jeremiah Cree]: ... No... Not yet. Enjoy yourself, I'll be in my study if you need me.
[Queen Anastasia Cree]: *Smiling* Will you be joining me for tea, Nico?
[Nicolatrice Cree]: That sounds wonderful, Ana!
*Baku and his sister appear outside of the palace where their friends await them in Lady Akamiko's hot pink vehicle with golden rims, that was washed and wax shined recently.
[Princess Savannah]: *Smiling* Hello lovelies!
[Mitsune Akamiko]: Good morning, baby girl, you two ready for a super day at school?
[Baku Cree]: *Sigh* I can't remember the last time I went to school on a Monday willingly…
[Halenday Medellon]: Wow Baku, I can see the results of your training already! May I?
[Baku Cree]: Hm? Yeah dude, check it out! *Flexes bicep*
[Mitsune Akamiko]: Whoa Baku, put those guns away! You can't take those to the university!
[Halenday Medellon]: *Smiling* Take a look Lady Yamabushi, doesn't our little Baku look strong?
[Ayurielli Yamabushi]: *pfft* He still looks wimpy to me…
[Baku Cree]: There's just no impressing you is there? Just wait till you see me in action, milady!
[Ayurielli Yamabushi]: It'll be a million years before you impress me, Hero Boy…
[Baku Cree]: *Confidently* Give me two weeks!
*Mitsune revs up the vehicle and zooms through the Royal Center headed for the High University.
