Chapter 33: The Training Begins
(Setting: Crystal Kingdom: Royal Palace- Courtyard)
(Scene: Baku meets Prince Majorku in the courtyard)
*Baku wakes up early in the morning to meet Prince Majorku in the wide open courtyard of the Royal Palace. There were neatly cut hedges and the beautiful flower gardens were covered in frost and dew. Tall standing stone statues of the kingdoms most historic figures, similar to that of the High University, adorned the outdoor space that overlooked an artificial pond with ducks swimming peacefully in the shallow waters.
[Baku Cree]: *Yaaawwwnnn* ...... *Sleepily* Good morning......
[Prince Majorku]: Good morning, Baku. I trust you had a well rested night?
[Baku Cree]: *Sleepily* It is entirely way too early for this... So, what exactly are we doing here today?
[Prince Majorku]: It is important that we take full advantage of the day, so that we may be completely productive and acquire maximum training effectiveness in order to obtain the perfect results. Today, we will start with warm ups so we may gauge where we are in terms of what is needed for improvement. Afterward, we will begin the true lesson... That will be the fun part.
[Baku Cree]: *Sarcastically* Oh great, I'm so excited…
[Prince Majorku]: *Smiling* I am too! How about we start out with pushups!
[Baku Cree]: *Sigh* Ah geez, man...
*Baku begins a set of pushups but very quickly begins to slow down and gasp for breath. The chilliness in the air was not agreeing with Baku's lungs as it began to hurt to inhale.
[Baku Cree]: ... *pant* ... *pant* …
[Prince Majorku]: Baku, are you resting already? You only did 15 pushups, and some of those weren't even complete.
[Baku Cree]: Wh-what do you mean?
[Prince Majorku]: You began your set by using up way too much energy, and you weren't pacing yourself well, nor were you breathing properly. You need to learn how to preserve your stamina and allow it to run farther over a longer period of time. Also, a full push up has your elbows bend at a ninety-degree angle and extend all the way straight. Anyways, let's see you do your sit ups. I'll keep your feet still.

[Baku Cree]: *Sigh* ... Okay…
*Baku lays on his back to do his sit ups as the prince stands on his feet to keep Baku stable. However, he can feel his little brother shake as he struggles to lift himself.
[Baku Cree]: ...... *pant* ...... *uuugggh* ......
[Prince Majorku]: Baku... Are you struggling?
[Baku Cree]: *Siigghh* What does it look like?
[Prince Majorku]: I can already tell there will be a lot of categories we must improve you in. I can see simply by observing you, that you are severely lacking in physical strength and stamina. We must focus on making you better in those areas, if you want to excel in the games and as the hero of the planet below.
[Baku Cree]: How the hell am I supposed to suddenly become a fighting hero, if you keep reminding me of how much I suck?
[Prince Majorku]: Well, you cannot simply expect to evolve over night, and you’re not going to become stronger if I go easy on you. Allow me to ask you a question, Baku... How do you intend to defend anybody if you are so weak in the body and mind? You get tired so easily for a boy your age even though you are only just entering your prime... Why is that?
[Baku Cree]: I never thought I would ever have to protect anybody, dude. Besides, I'm only fifteen years old remember? I wasn't born a savage warrior, you know?
[Prince Majorku]: Hmmm... I have reason to think that you are still unmotivated. I can sense that you still do not wish to become the hero we all need you to become for us. Am I correct to assume that you are still afraid of your future? If so, why are you so concerned?
[Baku Cree]: ... *Sigh* ... Geez, what are you telepathic or something?

[Prince Majorku]: Baku, you must unrestrain your mind of your own limitations and fears for what is to come in your life. The only one stopping you from improving is yourself.
[Baku Cree]: *Thinking to himself* ...Unrestrain... my mind? How the hell do I do that?
[Prince Majorku]: I'm gonna need you to trust me, Baku... Will you, please?
[Baku Cree]: ...... *Knods* ... Okay.
[Prince Majorku]: *Smiling* Alright, all I need you to do is believe in your training and to promise me that you'll push your limits and never give up on me. I guarantee you that after this weekend, our father will see true improvement once we next appear to him and the rest of the royal family. Are you ready for your real training to begin?
[Baku Cree]: Yes.
[Prince Majorku]: Very well then, come with me…
