Chapter 13: Valentine’s Day
(Setting: Crystal Kingdom: High University- Main Hall)
(Scene: Baku and his crew appear at school)
*The High University is celebrating Valentine's Day by beginning the setup of the Winter Homecoming dance. Posters and flyers are spread throughout the halls to notify all students of how to get tickets along with prices, the time and place, as well as the dress code for the event. It was going to be a formal event, so expect to wear fancy suits and gowns.
*More couples than ever were hanging out in the High University's courtyard, doing their regular make out thing before classes begun. Love notes and candy were being shared between the teens. Everyone was acting so sappy; it would make any normal person sick.
[Finn]: *Ugghh* ... Valentine’s Day... This sucks! Just another day to remind me that I'm hopelessly single!
[Barrtio]: I guess Valentine's Day is a little overplayed. Why wait all year to shower your boyfriends and girlfriends with affection? I thought the point of dating somebody was to love them unconditionally all the time... *Sigh* I just hate that it's impossible for anyone like us to get a date for the dance because all the best girls get taken by the jocks, chads and popular royals.
[Baku]: I find it ironically funny that the school council promotes romantic dances and such, then question why so many of our students get pregnant before graduating high school... That being said, I hope Savannah likes the love note I put in her locker…
[Barrtio]: Still trying for the Princess, huh? You do know that she gets like a hundred love notes every year, right? You're basically one of a million, dude.
*The boys observe Princess Savannah open her locker as a ton of love notes burst out of it spreading all over the floor at her feet.
[Mitsune Akamiko]: *Mockingly* Haha! You slut.
[Princess Savannah]: *Whimpers* …
[Barrtio]: I do, however, wish that Mitsune Akamiko chooses me for the dance. I've been buttering her up in our gourmet cooking class with food jokes and "buns". I believe its due time for me to take the cake out of the oven, spread some of that creamy icing on it, and eat it too!

[Finn]: *Sigh* This just blows because Millia's not here anymore, and I really think she would've loved all of the pink…
[Barrtio]: Hey dude, we know how you feel. But you gotta try to move on, man. Baku and I miss her too, and you'll only feel worse if you keep thinking about it in a negative light.
[Baku]: He's right, Finn... *Thinking to himself* Still... I wish there was something I could've done back then…
(Setting: Crystal Kingdom: High University- Cafeteria)
(Scene: Baku is seen in the cafeteria with his friends)
[Narrator]: Later that day…
*The boys appear in the cafeteria and observe a bunch of guys actively asking Savannah and her friends to the Winter Homecoming Dance, they were all huddled around in a crowd where the popular girls liked to sit, on the preppy side of the cafeteria. Everyone was desperatley vying for their attention, even though the royals were just trying to enjoy lunchtime.
[Popular Guy]: *Shouting* Princess Savannah! My lady, will you please go to the Winter Homecoming Dance with me!?
[Senior Classmen]: *Shoving* Wait just a minute! Savannah, my queen! Accept my request to the dance instead!
[Upperclassmen]: *Angry* Screw them, Princess! Let me take you out on a magical night in the town myself!
[Princess Savannah]: *Nervous* Hehe... Sorry, but I'm not really interested in going out with any of you... Hehehe…
[Group of boys]: *Crying* Damn it...She rejected all of us... and we already set up a ton of reservations... Our rich dads are gonna kill us…
[Princess Savannah]: Uhh... Sorry, but next time don't assume things will happen before they happen?
[Mitsune Akamiko]: *Mockingly* Wow, Princess Hoebox, that's 15 guys who asked you to the dance in the last hour. So, what's your secret?
[Princess Savannah]: Secret? I don't think I have one... *Embarrassed* Wait, what did you just call me!? Give me a break! Besides I don't see guys lining up to ask you for a date to the dance!
[Mitsune Akamiko]: *Proudly* That's because I already have a date for the dance!
*Mitsune looks over at where Baku and his friends are sitting and Barrtio catches her eye as she smiles charmingly.

[Barrtio]: *Thinking to himself* H-Holy crap! Mitsune's looking right at me! Is she referring to me as her date to the dance? This is it! This is gonna be--
[Mitsune Akamiko]: *Waving* Hiii Miiikooodooo! Come here my looove!
[Mikodo Danzer]: *Loudly* Haha, hey girly! What's goin' on?
[Barrtio]: *Thinking to himself* WHAT THE HELL! SHE'S TALKING ABOUT GOING TO THE DANCE WITH MIKODO DANZER!? ONE OF JULIO'S GOONS!?
[Barrtio]: SHE CHOSE THAT IDIOT TO GO WITH HER TO THE WINTER DANCE! THIS IS BULLSHIT! I'M GONNA KICK HIS ASS!
*Mikodo Danzer was one of Julio Avarez’s buddies, a fellow Badass if you will.
*To no one’s surprise, he wore the same tired get up as Julio did. A tuxedo everyday complete with a bow tie. He also had his own pair of shades, but instead of wearing them indoors over his eyes, he wore them backwards behind his head like an even more complete douche. He was nearly the same height as Julio, and had striking red hair that stood up thanks to all the gel he would apply to himself, as well as constantly shape and style with a comb.
*Mikodo, in his defense, wasn’t nearly as nasty as Julio in terms of being a bully, but he still had grunts do his dirty work for him. It’s hard to pinpoint which of the two were the least intellectual, but they hang out with each other so much that it didn’t make a difference trying to compare them to each other. The sole redeeming quality Mikodo Danzer had on Julio Avarez was that he didn’t actively hate Baku and his friends, or at least he didn’t have his own reason to. He was still a jackass nonetheless, however.
[Baku and Barrtio]: *Holding Barrtio back* Calm down, dude! It's not worth it!
[Barrtio]: *Crying* This sucks... Love sucks... Life sucks…
[Baku]: It's gonna be okay, bro... There are probably girls desperate enough to date you, so you still have a chance.
[Finn]: Yeah lil buddy, just look at Leonidas. He's got a date, and she's not... THAT... ugly...?
[Barrtio]: *Snnniiifff* That doesn't make me feel any better… Esmeralda is as attractive as a brick wall!
*It was true, Esmeralda was as cute as a brick wall and had a lisp. But she was a nice person.
[Large Jock]: Outta my way, ya scrawny bunch of weaklings! Prepare to watch a real man get a girl to the dance!
*A large jock pushes all of the male students out of the way, clearing the girls table instantly. He daringly approaches Ayurielli Yamabushi as he wore he varsity jacket with gusto.
[Large Jock]: Lady Yamabushi! As the captain of the football team, and the titled strongest jock in the gym, with a maximum bench press of 250 Lbs.! I ask for your hand as a date for the Winter Homecoming Dance!
[Ayurielli Yamabushi]: *Sipping tea* ...... You wish to be my date to the homecoming dance... And the only redeeming quality to your name is being the captain of a silly game, and lifting up a measly 250 pounds? *Breaks teacup onto the floor* HOW DARE YOU EXPECT SUCH MEANINGLESS SKILLS TO IMPRESS ME! IF YOU REALLY WANT MY HAND, CHALLENGE ME TO A DUEL OF SWORDS! TO THE DEATH!!!
[Large Jock]: *Scared shaking* Holy crap! I don't wanna die! Screw this shit, I'm out!
*The jock ran away as fast as he showed up.
[Halenday Medellon]: So, I assume your date searching process is going smoothly, Lady Yamabushi?
[Ayurielli Yamabushi]: *Pouring another cup of tea* *Hmph* This whole event is pointless, love is just an illusion. The only thing that matters in this world is strength and getting stronger... No man will ever be able to have my heart...... Except for one......
[Halenday Medellon]: Oh really, and how's that going for you?
[Ayurielli Yamabushi]: *cough, cough* Don't ask... *Sips tea*
*The bell rings and releases school for the day.
[Baku]: Well, thank Goddess it's a half day today. You guys wanna hang out in the city?
[Barrtio]: *Sniff* ...Okay…
