" tell me what you have understood up till now"
the owl cooed at me bringing me back from my musings.
I turned around and looked at the owl and she cocked her head looking down on me waiting for a response.
It seemed as if there was something wrong with her, I mean, it didn't take a genius to notice that she had an injury.
the so called lady Tong Zhong the owl was favouring its right leg more than its left leg half the time she seemed to be sleepy and irritated
"ohh aaa ahmm yeah the there was a bug giant world that was ruled by the people who had the ability of power. of the world whatever that means"
" Spoilt, ignorant child " silver said as he gave out a heavy sigh and shook his head
" The 'Power of the world' is a very exotic type of energy that binds and allows the universe to function "
oh, that made sense like electrical energy, kinetic energy, nuclear energy but on a higher level
.
" ohh cool " I replied not being able to think of anything else to say
" so what did you learn from all of my blabbering stories"
I began to search my head to gain time to think before I could form an answer to give
"well way back when there used to many races jointly living in this world which was unbelievable huge and one or two of the races gained or learned the ability to wild, manipulate or whatever they did to this energy which allowed them to rule over the world and then they began fighting amongst themselves in the last it was the so called mortals who won and allowed freedom and peace to spread through out the land "
I said in a single breath without pausing
Erebus let out a sudden sharp laugh
" oh my, so you believe that these immortal, wizards, adept and the rest who began fighting against their gods relinquished their power and allowed the mortal race to live in peace and harmony until now, "
I just nodded not knowing what else to say
" hahahahaheehee... oh my you may be the most naive innocent person I have ever met, Silver if you may be so inclined to enlighten our young friend"
he then began giggling uncontrollably
like I told him the greatest joke ever to exist
Silver cleared his throat drawing my attention
" to put it in simple words the victors or rather the champions who defeated the cruel gods did not sing kumbaya or Hakuna Matata and then left the mortals in peace
they took the place of the fallen gods declared themselves the new rulers of their own world
since the World was now split into millions of tiny worlds each inhabited by a ascertain mixture of races led by their own godly pantheon
Advertisement
this led to the beginning of a new type of games played by gods and the new rulers
they began using their people to raise the banner of war began sending them to attack these worlds and then conquer these worlds and absorb them
a new cycle of violence and destruction began to take form
but before It could spread something happened something none of them foresaw when they split the world
the power of the world grew angry and the power split into two distinct forms
one the calm giving warm energy and the other was the cold destructive corrosive energy
the gods and the other supernatural being found that they use only one type of energy
and this caused a split between the many pantheons and not to mention this negative energy gave birth to many other types of beings that wielded the power of manipulation and absorption
and the worst thing that could happen was each of the worlds gave birth to a planar consciousness a guardian deity that protected its native inhabitants from any beings that wielded power
the supernatural being found themselves being injected from their homeworld after a certain threshold "
Silver took a long pause as if waiting for a response from me
but I had no idea what to say
the information was really confusing
and a little overwhelming
to be honest, I had no clue how any of this had anything to do with me
but silver was quite content with my silence as he rebegan his story
"after being ejected from their homeworlds the power supernatural being found themselves in the great sea of the cosmos and found a great lack of resources that they needed to survive to cultivate to thrive
this caused a war to break out
a brutal war that formed the norm of this entire universe
and formed the cultural society of might is right
as millions of pantheons fought each other for billions of years all across the universe causing so much death and destruction
as time went on the pantheons started to evolve and become more powerful and wise and stronger than their predecessors
and pantheon was no longer a group of gods ruling over. a certain people but an entire faction that ruled over thousands of worlds
in the end, 13 great factions surfaced that
Conquered the majority of the known universe
these thirteen great faction conquered everything including all the sentient races without any reservation
these thirteen great factions are
The jade court- this faction is made of Daoist immortals who are led by the immortal jade emperor.
these Daoist cultivators are the one who absorbs and refine spiritual through their spiritual roots in pursuit of seeking immortality and many other supernatural powers
the monastery- this faction is led by the seven Buddha's this faction contain of Buddhist cultivation who cultivate Dharam through their wisdom root to transcend the cycle of rebirth and achieve nirvana

the luminous temple:- this faction's leadership is shrouded in mystery but it consisted of monks and nuns who practice the true path of illumination through their heart root in order to understand the truth of the universe they are a powerful group of people that wield immense power that allows them to use the laws of the universe to their will
the mystical palace- this faction consists of the magical beasts that can bale to cultivate and practise the oath of the energies they are led by the seven sacred beast races namely the white tiger race, the pixiu race, the dragon race, the phoenix race, the Qilin, the heaven devouring mice race, and the tortoise race
the demonic hall- these are the cultivator who does not use the traditional energy but use the demonic energies that are created from suffering, anger, death, sorrow, sadness, pain, despair, they are very similar to Daoist cultivators
the star palace - these are cultivators who absorb and cultivate the energies of various stars spread throughout the start sea of the cosmos
the fae race- the ancient race is the group races that are born with a gift of sport absorption and manipulation they consist and elves, goblins, dwarfs, light humans, dragons, mermaids, centaurs, mermaids, and more species
all the races are different in ways that make them fascinating creatures
all races are descendants of deities but they do not worship them or acknowledge them as such. they do not speak about their origins, nor show respect to any other that is not their own they are led by the summer court, winter court autumn court and the spring court
the mage cohort- these people absorb the energy they call elemental energy which they then use to turn themselves into elemental spirits a single mage can only use a single elemental
the adept camp- these people are very similar to the mage they differentiate in the sense instead of transforming themselves into the women at spirit they incorporate multiple elemental spirits and use them like beast pets and weapons
I can feel the knowlege of something similar in your mind something called Pokemon"
I froze upon the use of that particular analogy
this was the first time I had heard my old world lingo since I came here
"do you know what that means?" I asked hurriedly
if Silver had the knowlege of my old world that means I would be able to finally talk to someone freely
I could complain about the lack of modern work appliances such as tv, toilet
, good food etc
but do my utter disappointment silver just shook his head
"No, I don't understand what it means I just know that this term is the most appropriate description of adepts"
mother fucker I felt my heart sink as my dream of. best friend vanished
"anyway then there is the divine palace that is less by King Uther this faction consists of knights and wizards who use mana to strengthen their body and mind respectively"
I once again frowned at that name wasn't there an Uther pendragon legend back in my old world the actual father of the athur pendragon
but I kept my mouth shut thinking that
maybe I should just go along with it
I couldn't even imagine talking about that part of my past with anyone else it would just bring in wanted trouble that I did not want
" then there are there ancient pantheons of gods namely the Theoisians, the fengarians and the Asdarians that consists of thousands upon thousands of major and minor gods
and you see amongst these thirteen great factions control everything and bu that I mean everything is connected to one or the other Center of power of these factions, a speck of grass, a tree, a pebble, speck of dirt, even form of life that connects to this word is under their control even the very soul of every being"
silver became angry as he stare puffing his check was he continued to talk
" once upon a time, every being was able to cultivate every being was born with the spiritual root of life and had a chance to step onto the path of practise and cultivation
but these bastards began to limit the people who were born with the doors they began to manipulate the very river of fate just to stroke their vain egos
and even with these restrictions, some mortals by chance of fate rose to their level they cut off the very path above the fifth grade
in the last year no matter who no one has proposed the beyond the fifth level of practice or cultivation
and because every soul go ever exist is marked with the power signature of the thirteen factions we can't let a single person or entity have a hand in shaping their destiny"
to my surprise, silver began crying as big heavy years began to flow from his big brown eyes
"and this is where you come in child of wrath"
the owl cooed at me and said in her soft voice
"me??," I asked baffles and praying this won't land me on a fucking miserable path of some protagonist who jas to defeat the very rulers of this universe

The Long and Exciting Life of Kreet the Kobold (Life 1)
This is a coming-of age story of a kobold, set in a rather generic D&D universe. It is adult in that it certainly touches upon some sexuality, but it is far, far from anything that might be considered porn. It is ultimately a tragedy, but so is life. That doesn't mean it has to end badly, just that it has to end.
