"Wait hey how old are you?" Megumi asked. "I’m eleven and my friends are around the same age." Hitomi replied. "OK I guess I’ll meet you all later" Megumi said as she gave an nonchalant look. Hitomi grabbed Megumi's arm and told her "no you must come and meet my friends right away" she said.
"Sure thing, just give me one second" Megumi said. Megumi went and walked up to Siaki’s door and knocked on it. Siaki came to the door "why yes your still here?" He asked. "Yes sir I need to know more about you" she said. "Fine after you meet with the other kids co---" "you heard me?!" Megumi asked. "Calm down and don’t be so rude it is a lot of things you don’t understand yet Megumi." "For one your art and what happened to you out there by the Yurusemasen River" Siaki said.
"Wait how do you know about that?!" She exclaimed. "You should be going you don’t want to keep the rest of the Wakai waiting do you?" Siaki asked. "Can you hold on one second" Megumi said. Megumi ran back to Hitomi. "Yes mam?" Hitomi replied. "Don’t call me mam?" She said. "OK Megumi." "Can you all come over to my house later on, I have to do something very important right now?" Megumi asked.
"Aww… You don’t like us?" Hitomi asked. "No that’s not it, I just have something very special to take care of" she said. "Oh OK we will come over later but we will have to sneak out" Hitomi replied. "No don’t sneak out" Megumi said. "Sorry I can’t hear you, see you later" Megumi Hitomi said running away. Hmm just how I was that age, ill regard for rules Megumi thought to herself.

Then she walked back up to Siaki’s door and as she was about to knock on the door it was left open. "I knew you would be back ha ha eager as I was when I was around your age" Siaki said. "How well has your teacher taught all of you?" Siaki asked. "He’s taught us a lot since we’ve came to the school" Megumi said. "Yes I know you all know of art, humph all of you have all already have activated it, but has Salul taught you your history?" Siaki asked.
"No what history sir? "She responded. "Ahh I see he’s decided to keep that from you all, but I will tell you just in case, keep this from the others" he said. Hesitating and looking distraught. "Did you hear me?" Siaki said. "Why would I have to keep this from the others?" Megumi replied. "Because this is more a curse than it is a blessing" he said.
"What do you mean?" Megumi asked. "Sit down I’m going to go grab you something to drink" Siaki said. "OK" Megumi responded. Moments later Siaki came back with something that Megumi had never seen before. "Now this is an old drink from back in my day" Siaki said as he laughed a little. "What is it?" She asked. "Why this is Starry Feine, this here is a very great drink to have for special occasions" Siaki said.
"Here try a little bit of it" he said. As Megumi tried it, she felt a burning sensation in her throat for a second then after, "wow this is very good I feel a little more alert" she said. "Why yes it can do that as well ha ha" Siaki said giving an old elderly laugh. "I don’t want to be rude, but may we continue with the story?" Megumi asked. "Why yes excuse me I got carried away" Siaki replied.

It's almost impossible to write a novel where creatures (Iferes) have a major part in, and not relate it to pokemon. However, as you will see as the novel goes on, I tried (and I think I succeeded) in making a universe of my own. I am sure you will like it. Secondly, compared to pokemon, my novel is a lot darker, as you probably noticed by the synopsis. I also try to give a wild west vibe to it, if you know what I mean. Thirdly, you should check out my fanfic Broke: A Clone Wars Tale. Biased as I am towards it, I think it's a great story, and so do many of my readers. It will also give you a glance at what writing style to expect. Fourth and last, I feel like it's only fair that I tell you I am a student. As much as I love writing, my main priority will always be my studies. After all, writing is just a hobby for me, at least for now (fingers crossed).
