It seems that the old man put me to sleep and left. Well I hope this book and ring are actually useful to me.

WOOAAAHHHH!!! If i just put my consciousness into the ring, I can see what is inside! It seem that man left me food in here… I think this will be able to last me for a looonnnggg time.

Hmmm… It seems this book talks about these different ranks and also has a cultivation method and some sort of skill.
It says that in this world, all people are able to cultivate their spirit, which will help them become stronger and live longer lives.
The ranks from weakest to strongest are: Normal, Spirit Apprentice, Spirit Disciple, Spirit Warrior, Spirit Knight, Spirit King, Spirit Lord, and Spirit Emperor.
These are the ranks that exist, but there might be others above or special ranks that are unknown to people. All ranks except Normal can be separated into three sub-ranks: Low, Medium, and High.
I guess I’m currently a Normal with an expected lifespan of 100 years right now, but once I start cultivating I guess I’ll become a Low Spirit Apprentice with a lifespan of 110 years. It seems that most people aren’t able to cultivate at all, and have a maximum life of 100 years.
It also states monster ranks too. It seems that the same except they start from the Disciple rank. From lowest to highest the ranks are: Soul Disciple, Soul Warrior, Soul Knight, Soul King, Soul Lord, and Soul Emperor. It also looks like a Low Soul Disciple monster would be around 2 times stronger than a Low Spirit Disciple cultivator, but monsters usually have 1/2 the lifespan of a cultivator at the same level.
Now moving onto the cultivation method. This method is called Emperor’s Way… It says that you’ll become many times stronger than others at the same level, but the path of cultivation will become a hundred times more difficult.

The special skill series that is in this book is called Shadow of the Demon. There is a only 1 skill, but I’m guessing it’s special because it says that you are able to create more advanced skills from this skill. This basic skill is called Demonic Energy, it allows the user to harness the Demonic Energy in the surroundings. This Energy can be changed to fit the user’s will.
AHhh… It’s a shame that I can only start learning this skill when I become a Medium Spirit Disciple.
I guess that I’ll start cultivating Emperor’s Way...

The cube crashed into Reginald's backyard, and his 'gamer' senses were itching at the chance of supremely valuable loot. Upon investigating, he is injected with a control crystal for a 'Construction Core', but when it releases an extremely high density of pressurized mana, his body seizes up and the Core draws his mind into it before merging the control crystal back into the Core and retreating into the Cube and digging itself deeper. Two months later, Reginald becomes aware again, only to find out that nothing is as it was and he is now the Earth's First Dungeon...
