"Actually three metas at the power plant." she said.

The atmosphere immediately grew tense when Tammie said those words.

"Alex..." Ruff rushed to familiar black suit, "Go back home." he said touching the suit and immediately fully geared up.

Alvin and Tammie also followed suit and activated their suits.

"But...." Alex had a sense of disappointment.

"No buts Alex." and just like that Ruff sparked up and disappeared following which a gust of wind.

A blue portal formed in front of Tammie and Alvin and they both stepped in immediately leaving Alex alone in the room before he could say another word.

"Crap!" Alex cursed. He really wanted to do something this time but unfortunately for him, his uncle had as over protective again.

He held his waist in frustration when he suddenly noticed the white empty patch on his chest flash.

He tapped it in curiosity and the suit immediately retracted starting from the mask.

Although Alex was a little disappointed now, he awed at Alvin's technology.

He didn't go back home immediately since there wasn't really anything he was supposed to do there.

Besides, he was in a futuristic lab right now with a cool lounge.

He walked to the lounge, the music still playing but a little softer as the blue lines in the wall stopped flushing red.

He grabbed a can of soda and sat down on the cool white interactive sofas.

And then suddenly, a voice sounded from the walls;

"Identifying guest..." am emotionless lady voice was heard.

"Identification complete. Alex Anderson in premises."

"Welcome, Alex. I have noticed you have been here multiple times. Would you like me to add you to the official membership?" the voice asked.

Alex's eyes glimmered in excitement when he heard the voice.

"Of cause." he said without any hesitation.

"Adding guest to membership... Complete. Congratulations Alex, you're now an official member of the MHu." the voice said with the walls flashing pink for a moment.

"Uhhhh..... May I know your name?"Alex voices out after some time.

"I'm Andy. Would I be of any help to you?"

"Not for now."

"Okay."

Alex unplugged the game console and tuned in to a news channel.

He had anticipated that the incident would be on mews since an incident at an energy plant cannot be taken for granted. And his guess was correct.

Although It wasn't showing Rudd and his team, the news anchors where talking about am accident at the plant.

Suddenly, the lights in the city started going off in a chain reaction turning the whole place pitch black.

Alex who was in the lab, rose from the chair in worry when the lights when all electric appliances went off.

But just after a moment, the lights flickered back on and the familiar Andy's voice could be heard.

"Power cut off for unknown reasons, activated power generator."

The lounge brimmed bask to life after the announcement.

But this was still bad news to Alex, if Ruff was at the plant and something happened to him, he wouldn't rest easy.

Without any hesitation, Alex dishes out of the Hq.

Outside, on the streets, vehicles had stopped moving causing a heavy jam.

The drivers had stepped out of their cars looking at the illuminated sky a head.

The brilliant big sparks from the plant could be seen.

Alex swallowed at the sight of this and immediately, when he saw a parked motorcycle nearby, he ran towards it, and sped off to the plant.

At the power plant.

Ruff, Tammie and Alvin panted as they faced the three metas causing trouble.

"Join us... Black speed. And you will be part of the new civilization." said a woman's voice. The evil tone in that voice was enough to send shivers down one's spine.

A 20 year old woman, with her brilliant black hair tied into a long ponytail, stamped the ground with her staff emitting sparks from it.

She wore a green metal mask over her mouth that matched the green tight revealing suit she was wearing.

The suit outlined every curve of her body making her a sight to be hold.

Beside her, to her left, a humanoid leopard growled at Ruff.

And on her right, a boy slightly older than Alex, wore a black hoodie lazy staring at the trio in front of him with bright blue eyes.

And a network of short lighting blue veins branched out of the corners of his eyes.

Although he was blessed with good looks, he looked terrifying with those bright blue eyes and smirk on his lips.

"And you two too..." the green suited lady said looking at Alvin and Tammie.

Tammie frowned hard and immediately, fire started engulfing her as her eyes hued with flames.

Definitely a sign she's ready to go back to war.

Alvin on the hand has just caught his breath and now he had a meant to go back.

"Alright then. As you wish. " the green suited lady said in a non-committal tone pulling out her stuff from the ground.

She raised both her hands and the giant rocks raised from the earth as they aimed at Ruff and is team.

Ruff's body sparked up more and more.

The humanoid leopard completely transformed into a leopard and was already pouncing at Alvin.

Alex, who had just arrived witnesses a completely awe inspiring scene.

Although he was worried suck about his uncle, he could help but marvel at the way they confronted each other.

"I'm definitely drawing this when I get home." Alex thought to himself.

Alvin, seeing a giant wild animal pounce at him, activated a blue force field.

The beast scratched at the forcefield pouncing back on the ground leaving bright marks on it.

Cold sweat escaped from Alvin's fore head as his energy was being drained quickly.

Tammie raised up in the air illuminating the place in a red hue as her flaming hair danced about in the air.

She roared fiercely as she sent a stream of fireballs flying at the green suited Lady.

Who quickly blocked them with the rocks floating about on the air.

Immediately, she also countered and sent the rocks flying at Tammie.

The hooded boy smirked at Ruff seeing him spark up as he looked bask at him.

"Bring it on." he said quickly switching from his lazy posture to an defensive one.

Ruff turned into a phantom as he disappeared from his position.

But just then, the hoodie boy struck lightning out of his palm making Ruff reappear flying back and hitting the ground hard.

Alex stood by watching the roller coaster ride.

From Ruff's team having the upper hand to the evil guys countering and suppressing them.

This action repeated a couple of times before the loser of the battle could be told.

Ruff, Tammie and Alvin lay on the ground trying to get back to their feet with much difficulty.

Just as the hoodie boy was about to send out another bolt of lightning towards Ruff.

He caught sight of a new figure in the illuminated night at the power plant.

Alex stood there not knowing where he even got the courage to do so.

The hoodie boy retracted his hand as he looked at the mysterious person in front of him; "And you are?" he asked.

"Just call me Blue steel." Alex replied.

He then charged towards the hoodie boy who was the only person standing right now.

His allies had gone into the control room and left him to finish off Ruff and his team.

"tsk. Tsk tsk." the boy lamented on Alex's stupidity not bothered the slightest that he was charging at him.

Alex braced for the pain he would be receiving seeing the hoodie boy send a bolt at him.

But never the less did he stop sprinting towards him.

Just as the bolt was about to hit him, he stepped to the side avoiding it.

As if his body had a mind of its own.

But before he could even think of what was happening, the rocks the green suited lady had left behind rose up and flew towards the hoodie boy.

He didn't think his opponent was this powerful.

He stepped a side as the rocks passed by him by the skin of his teeth even some debris managing to scratch his cheek.

"You brat. Your courting your death!" he dared not underestimate Alex again.

He immediately sent out two bolts but the latter dodged them like it were a piece of cake.

Who the hell was this Blue steal exactly!

He didn't stop there. He sent out bolt after bolt of lighting non stop.

Alex subconsciously raised the trash cans near him using telekinesis blocking the lighting bolts headed towards him.

"Stop!" he yelled.

And to his surprise, the hoodie boy stopped but it appeared he was struggling to free himself from the invisible shackles his body had been put in.

Alex panted heavily. This whole thing was completely exhausting for him.

On the side, Ruff had regenerated his strength and without any delay he zoomed to the hoodie boy and strapped the restriction anklet on him.

He immediately dashed to the control room in a boil of an eye.

Two people stood in the control room trying to takeout some sort of sphere from a power source.

One of them turned sensing a threat and immediately morphed into a leopard.

"Ahhh. Your back." the green suites lady turned looking at Ruff after she noticed her companion morph.

"As you can see Gaia." Ruff said rhetorically.

And with out further delay, the leopard pounced at Alex.

The world around Ruff became still as blue sparks emitted from his body.

He looked at the raging leopard pouncing at him in floating in the air and walled up to it tying an anklet on its hind leg.

The leopard landed where Ruff previously stood but there was no trace of his target there anymore.

The anklet flashes and beeped and immediately a shock was sent through its entity morphing him back to human.

"Why are you doing this Gaia?"

"If you want to know, then join us. It's as simple as that." Gaia flashed a playful evil smile at Ruff.

Although she had no where to escape to anymore, she was still in a pleasant mood.

Something was definitely not right.

Before Ruff could take another step.

Gaia threw a knife she at him quickly running to her companion touching him then they both disappeared out of sight.

Ruff got distracted for a moment as he held the tip of the knife with his finger tips giving them enough time to escape.

"Crap!" he cussed in frustration throwing the knife to the wall.

He sighed disappointed until a thought finally struck him, "Alex."

The frown on his face further deepened as he thought of Alex.

In a blink of an eye, he was already in front of Alex who was sitting on a rock in exhaustion.

Tammie and Alvin had tied up the hoodie boy in a restriction cuff and were currently stepping into the portal.

They immediately disappeared after that.

Alex looked at the angered face in front of him. His neck bobbed as he swallowed saliva awaiting for the punishment he would be receiving.
