《King Of All Heavens》Chapter 53: White Desert Devil Scorpion Tribe

In just a few seconds, numerous experts died. How powerful was Senior Golem really?
"Young Master, do be careful. It's not every time that I will come in and save you." Senior Golem said.
"I know. Then from now on, as long as I'm not in mortal danger, don't come in and save me. I'll handle it myself" Wang Tian replied. He understood Senior Golem. If he began to rely on Senior Golem too much then what was the point of tempering himself through these battles? What was the point of even cultivating when you have a gigantic and powerful godlike senior to watch over you all the time?
Senior Golem nodded and then disappeared from Wang Tian's sight. He began to kill again but this time, it was much more slower.
Wang Tian looked off into the distance. He gradually started to walk around the 50 meter radius. Absorbing the Dark Qi from the corpses of those that he killed. There were thousands. After just a few short moments, Wang Tian felt like his body was going to burst from all of the qi inside his body. Therefore, he decided to stash the corpses into his bag of holding. The one that his father gave him. He thought about it for a moment and said,
"Senior Golem, I'm about to cultivate. Can you guard me for a bit?"
The figure of a bulky man appeared. Wang Tian sat down cross legged and then began to circulate the qi inside his body. He was currently at level 6 Xiantian Lifeform realm capable of circulating his qi for 170 times. The number of circulations required to breakthrough to level 7 was 219 times.

Wang Tian circulated quickly as it numbered to about 200 times in an instant. Just a wee bit shy from reaching 219 times.

An explosion rang out inside Wang Tian's body as he broke through to level 7. However, he was not done yet. He was planning on breaking through continuously because he felt like his foundation was rather stable. Thus, it wouldn't harm him if he went all out and would just only benefit him in the end.
Wang Tian opened his bag of holding and continuously absorbed Dark Qi from the corpses inside it.

Wang Tian broke through to level 8 while the corpses in his bag of holding were reduced to a few hundreds. Wang Tian didn't care and just continued to absorb the Dark Qi.
Senior Golem was looking at Wang Tian with a satisfied look as he constantly killed every other time and put the corpses into his storage ring. With his powerful cultivation base, he could easily notice that Wang Tian was running out of corpses. He placed his hand on Wang Tian's shoulder so that the Ancestor Qi from his body would prevent Wang Tian from suffering if he disturbed him at this moment. Wang Tian was cultivating, it would prove to be detrimental had Senior Golem not placed his hand on Wang Tian's shoulder.

Wang Tian felt Senior Golem's hand and felt a warm sensation. His eyes opened and then he looked at Senior Golem confusedly.
Senior Golem waved his other hand and instant, hundreds of thousands of corpses, whether it be from beasts to humans flew into Wang Tian's storage ring.
Wang Tian was shocked but he quickly recovered and looked at Senior Golem with eyes filled with gratitude.
'One day, I will be the one to protect him.' He thought to himself as he raised his resolve to increase his cultivation base further.
Wang Tian then resumed absorbing the Dark Qi from the corpses as he unceasingly circulated the qi.

He once more broke through to level 9 Xiantian Lifeform realm. Almost thirty thousand corpses had their Dark Qi absorbed by Wang Tian. That was a hefty price! Later it just numbered to a few hundred but it instantly jumped to thirty thousand! Is this the difference of being able to cultivate to a stage a step away from becoming a Zifu realm expert?
Wang Tian thought about it for a moment and then decided to stop as it wouldn't prove to be too good for him if he tirelessly broke through. The foundation that he built needed to be reinforced as breaking through two levels in one go shook it a bit.
Wang Tian opened his eyes and stood up. He felt overwhelming power inside his body. He felt like he could easily tear one person only with just a blink of his eye without the use of his Evil Intent. It was a marvelous feeling. Wang Tian looked at Senior Golem and said, "Thank you" as he bowed.
Senior Golem smiled and then he disappeared off to kill more.
Wang Tian payed it no heed. He scanned the battlefield. He couldn't help but smile. How lucky was he to come across a place where death was abundant? How lucky was he that he was in a place where he could now easily hone his skills and combat experience to the max while not paying attention to whether or not he kills his enemies?
Dumb luck!
Just dumb fucking luck!
This was what it was.
Wang Tian was about to initiate another slaughter when he suddenly felt a familiar feeling. He glanced at all directions. It was coming from his north. He was intrigued. He didn't know why but it was a very familiar feeling. His blood started to boil as if the bloodline beast inside his body was reacting to that feeling. Wang Tian injected his feet with his Dark Qi and then he dashed towards his north. He didn't even bother killing as his attention was heavily focused on where that familiar feeling was coming from.
After a few moments of searching, he finally saw a magical beast. However, this scorpion wasn't like any other. It was quite different. It's body was only 1-5 meters in height, 6 meters in length and 7 meters in width. It had strange markings on its body. Its shell was white and its stinger was very large.

The scorpion also noticed him and it also stopped killing the humans.
"Hm?" Wang Tian heard a voice inside his mind. He knew that this was a telepathic message. He was only a few meters away from the scorpion as he felt that the scorpion wouldn't hurt him. He even felt that he was safe if he was with the scorpion. Much safer than the feeling he got from being with Senior Golem.
"Who are you?" Wang Tian also asked confusedly. His heart was beating rapidly like a drum.
"Child, why are you killing people from the same roots? Have your elders not taught you any manners? More importantly, why are you in this backwater planet? I can sense a very pure but very weak bloodline within you. How can someone at your level be here?" That scorpion asked a barrage of questions which Wang Tian did not have answers to because he was also clueless about his origin.
'Bloodline again? Are we related? Is this why I feel a familiarity with him?' Wang Tian thought to himself.
Wang Tian looked at the sorpion confusedly and asked, "Who might senior be?" but this time, his voice was a bit more respectful. This scorpion apparently knew more about his bloodline. He was eager to know anything that might lead him closer to the mystery of his bloodline. So he cannot risk the scorpion getting offended.
"What? Is my tribe, the White Desert Devil Scorpions not worth your recognition?" The scorpion glared at Wang Tian and snorted. "No, no, no, that's not what i meant Senior. Hehe please forgive this little one but you see, I have been raised with no elder knowleadgable enough to teach me about my bloodline. Thus, this lowly one is quite ignorant." Wang Tian said embarrasingly. The white scorpion looked at Wang Tian suspiciously and after it seemingly thought about it, the youth's words really did make a lot of sense. The scorpion laughed and said, "So that's why you're so polite.".
Wang Tian looked at him weirdly and chuckled.
The scorpion looked off to the distance and its eyes landed on a bulk figure. Its face turned pale but it was hardly noticeable. "I'll tell you but I want to first ask a favor."
"Can you call that Senior off? I noticed earlier that he talked to you. Is he your friend?" The scorpion said embarrasedly.
"We're at war and he's quickly killing all of my descendants..."
Wang Tian didn't know whether to laugh or cry but he still nodded and said, "Senior Golem can you stop for a moment?"
He said it so silently like he was talking to the wind and this made the scorpion look at him weirdly, 'Come on, he's thousands of kilometers away, how can he hear you with how low the volume of that voice of yours is?' The scorpion thought to itself while it looked at the figure in the distance. However, its eyes shrank because of what it saw.
The figure stopped killing and then looked at them. The scorpion felt pressured by the gaze so it involuntarily looked at Wang Tian instead. What surprised him even more was that the youh nodded at the figure at such a distance.
How powerful was that figure?????
This was the thought of the scorpion.
In an instant, Senior Golem appeared behind Wang Tian.
"Member of the White Desert Devil Scorpion Tribe? Young Master, you've become one step closer to finding something about your bloodline. The members of the White Desert Devil Scorpion Tribe are deeply allied with your Arachnid Tribe." Senior Golem looked at Wang Tian with a smile.
Wang Tian's eyes flashed with understanding. He looked at the scorpion with a smile.
The scorpion didn't dare move as the presence that he got from Senior Golem was unfathomable. It was like Mount Tai itself was present in front of him. Its majestic and proud air bearing down on him and he was not in any way capable of handling that pressure.
"Senior" The scorpion greeted as it bowed its 2 meter head towards Senior Golem.
Wang Tian's pupils constricted but this time it wasn't that obvious as he was slowly growing accustomed to the fact that he was with someone akin to a god and people will surely bow down to him.
Since the saying:
"Strength is Power"
is present in every single way of the world. That one rule cannot be changed. One must bow down in the face of supreme strength. One must bow down in front of someone akin to a god. One must lower their heads in front of someone vastly superior. That was how the world went. It was an unchangeable fact. Why? Because what can you accomplish with measly strength? Gain Fame?
No!
Become rich?
No!
Gain ladies?
Hell no!
In this world, with supreme power, you can have anything. You can accomplish anything. It's just like when buying a piece of item in a shop. Why buy when you can take? Why be civilized with such inferior beings?
Senior Golem nodded in acknowledgement.
The scorpion heaved a sigh of relief. Since the god in front of it was very humble enough to pay heed to his presence, then he was very happy to accompany Wang Tian and tell him everything that he knew about his bloodline. Plus, the fact that such a figure nodded towards him greatly reduced the pressure that he was feeling.
But seeing that godlike figure looking at Wang Tian respectfully and even adressing the youth as "Young Master" made a deep impression on him. The origin of the youth in front of him was beginning to appear more mysterious. This greatly interested him.
"Let's find somewhere else to talk" the scorpion said.
